The first thing she woke up to was the sound of birds. She slowly woke up, pushing up against the ground. The sounds of the forest around her. The four year old looked around. 'Where am I?' She slowly got up before looking down at herself. She was dress in a lime ankle length dress with a light pink bow wrapped around her waist. Her feet bare with a ankle bracelet on her left leg. She picked her head back up looking once more around her. When she couldn't find anyone around her she listened out for something. She heard something running, 'a river' her mind supplied. She walked towards the noise before coming across something on the other side. She quickly hid behind a tree as she watch the person from the tree. 

After she deemed the person safe she slowly walked out of her hiding spot, stepping on a stick alerting the person. As she looked up she took in their appearance. They had long straight green hair with emerald eyes to match. They quickly caught her in their sight, gasping and taking in her own appearance. The stranger asked,"Hey sweetie, how are you", smiling at her. The young girl quietly stuttered out, "I-I need your help." The young woman's smile faded into a worried look. "What is it? Are you ok?" she asked looking at the girl. She looked at the woman before asking, "Do you know where I am?" The young woman looked at her before beckoning the young girl to come over. "I can take you to the village I live in. We can get you some help over there." she said as she started to pack up the clothes she had been washing.

The girl thought over her choices before deciding to trust the kind woman. She got into the river looking into her reflection. She had curly dark green hair with green eyes, freckles speckled on her face. She giggled slightly as she thought about the similarities she had with the woman before she started to slowly wade through the river, holding her dress up to avoid getting it getting wet. The older woman stuck out her hand, the little girl grabbing onto it after getting out of the river.

"Okay sweetie, do you see anyone you know?" The woman, Inko, asked as she lead the little girl through the market. "I-Inko I need to tell you something." the girl said looking down at her feet. The woman immediately took her to the side before kneeling down to look the girl in the eyes. "What is it hun?" she asked voice soft, soothing the girl. "I-I don't remember anything." the girl muttered almost inaudibly. The woman's eyes widened before asking, "Do you know your name?" The girl shook her head solemnly. The woman continued asking, "Do you know you parents?" The girl shook her head again. She looked at the girl before asking if she could look at her clothing for any hints. The child nodded at the woman before she checked the ribbon for initials. When she didn't find anything in or on the ribbon. She took in the girls appearance once more something caught her eye. She looked down at the young girl's ankle finding a charm on the anklet. The woman looked at the charm closely finding an I on it. "If you don't know you name we can call you something for now." the woman said looking at the girl wit a small smile. "How about Izumi?" she asked the small girl. The young girl smiled at the name as her eyes lit up. "Yes please." she said to Inko before hugging her, the other woman returning it.
