At night when everyone is asleep...

"When will it come?"

You know what it's like, don't you?

"When will we finally reach it?"

The people...

"The end, the termination?"

The ones you know...

"The ceasing of the ceaseless..."

The ones you love...

"The end to this infinite cycle?"

Gone. They've been ripped from you...in a matter of seconds...

"What the-" I yell. I sit up so fast I end up throwing the blanket off me.

The heck was that about? Why was I just hearing voices? It was like I was almost...blind...

"Hey, are you ok?" I see Touka sitting up and rubbing her eyes.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just had a dream. It was weird as heck too." I say.

"Weird how?"

"I couldn't see. There were no images or anything. Nothing was happening. I just heard people saying things."

"Yeah, I guess that is pretty weird." Touka stands up, enters the bathroom, and turns on the faucet.

But now that I think about it...one of the voices sounded like...Ayato. You know what? F*** him! But...he's Touka's brother so I should probably try to fix things up with him. Should I even tell her about him? I mean...if I do then she'll probably just worry about him more. And I'm pretty sure that she doesn't need his crap in her life right now. Especially not this sort of crap...

I let myself fall backwards and onto the soft couch.

I guess I'll just sleep on it...
