Something's not right. Touka's here so why isn't...

"Touka." I say.

"Yeah?" She looks at me.

"Do you remember when we were kids and we would go over to each other's houses?"

"I remember. Why do you ask?"

"You used to always tease me about liking a certain someone. You knew that I didn't but the way I reacted would always make you laugh."

"Yeah...it did. One time you even got mad at me." She smiles. "Your face turned red and you called me all sorts of names..."

This is making me realize that our childhood selves were so silly. But what can I say? We were kids after all.

"I wonder what he'd say now." Touka continues. "He would always get so embarrassed and start blushing. He'd try to hide it but I'm pretty sure that it was obvious to the both of us."

"You're right. It was obvious. He looked so silly when he tried to hide it." I say.

I'm hoping that this isn't the case but...did he die? Or is it similar to my situation...? Touka doesn't even know where he is, does she? Just great... We now unfortunately have more in common than I thought we did.

"Stupid doves..." I accidentally say aloud.

"What was that?" Touka says.

"It's nothing, Mura." I say.

"You haven't called me that in a while."

"I know."

That's because I haven't seen you in years. It seems as if so much has changed.
