"Thanks Ryumi..." She smiles. "Do you want to meet everyone else?"

"Sure." I say.

We both walk inside of the cafe. Everyone's attention is on us.

"This is Ryumi." Touka says. "She's a friend of mine."

"Hi!" I see most of them respond. One of them simply looks at me and then turns his head.

I begin to look at the rest of them from left to right.

So, these are the people Touka's willing to risk her life for...

My eyes stop on the last one; it's a black haired boy with an eyepatch.

I feel like I can read him...like a book. He's nice...maybe too nice for his own good. But then again...looks can be deceiving.

"It's nice to meet you all." I say. "And your names are..."

Once I say that, the brown haired woman says that it was rude for them to not have introduced themselves and tells me her name; it's Kaya Irimi. The others follow soon after. Eyepatch boy's name is Kaneki Ken, the strawberry blonde's name is Nishiki Nishio, the man who hangs with Kaya is Enji Koma, mister emotionless is Renji Yomo, and the manager's Yoshimura.

Ok...introductions are over now...

"So, Mr. Nishio... What's up with you and that little frown of yours?" I walk towards him.

"It's nothing." He turns his head and looks in a different direction. "Nothing you have to be concerned about anyway."

"Is that so?"

"Yeah."

This dude seems interesting...and somewhat complex. I feel like I can trust him... I feel like I can trust everyone here but Nishiki...he's different... I bet there's a whole other side of him that I haven't seen.

I sit down in the nearest chair.

And then there's Yomo. He reminds me of one of those characters in tv shows. He seems to fit the strong and silent type cliche.

"Alright..." I stand up. "You guys seem cool...and Touka's obviously taken a liking to all of you so-"

I stop. I look at everyone and realize something. Someone's missing.
