Everyone has their eyes on us. But it's Touka's eyes that concern me more. She turns away from Nishiki and towards us.

"Nishiki here was just telling me that you two went outside for a bit. Where'd you go?" She asks.

"We went to the park." I say.

D*mn... I'm gonna have to tell her, aren't I?

"Did you have fun, Hinami?" Touka smiles. Hinami doesn't seem happy. Matter of fact, it's the same expression she had outside, but worse. Touka notices this and her smile is now gone. "What's wrong?"

"Ryumi told me some stuff about the three of you...but then..." Hinami pauses.

"It's ok. You can go to your room now, Hinami." I say. Touka looks at me in confusion as Hinami goes up the stairs. I give her a look in return and she sighs.

We wait a few seconds for Hinami to get up the stairs. We can just faintly hear the sound of a door closing.

"What happened out there?" Touka says, crossing her arms.

The f*cking CCG most likely... I can already tell that we're gonna have even more of a problem on our hands.

"Spit it out already." Nishiki says. He takes a step closer to me. "You couldn't have forgotten already. It happened not long ago, right?"

"Alright, shut it, Four-eyes... Look, when me and Hinami were coming back to Anteiku, I felt like someone was watching us-"

"So, you got a little paranoid. It can't be that big of a deal." Nishiki cuts me off, slightly irritating me.

Interrupt me again and see what happens.

"Anyway, it turned out that someone actually was following us. I'm not sure but I think it may have been one of the CCG's investigators." I say.

"And how do you know?" Touka asks.

"I caught the scent of someone running away from us. And before that, I heard someone not far away from me and Hinami make a noise." I sit down at the nearest table, still facing Touka and Nishiki. "I know what happened out there. I didn't just randomly get a case of paranoia."

"I know, Ryumi..." Touka says. "I believe you. But we have to do something."

"We won't be doing anything." I hear the manager of the place enter and close a door behind him.

"We can't risk something like this happening again...not after everything that's happened." Touka says. I can hear the anger beginning to show in her voice.

"They must've put together a plan of some sort. Whatever it may be, we can't let them know that we're aware of it." The manager says.

"I refuse to stand by and wait for another one of us to die!" Touka yells, unleashing her emotions.

The room turns dead silent. No one makes a sound or even the slightest bit of movement. Touka's words of rage linger and never seem to go away. But then the manager looks at Touka and turns around.

"You need to understand, Touka. You're actions might have very undesirable consequences."

Touka says nothing but her face says it all.

"Calm down." I say. "Just listen to him."

His plan might actually buy some time...

"But Ryumi-"

"Touka...do you think I'm stupid? I'm aware of what could happen if either of the plans fail. It's probably for the best that we do nothing."

But trust me...there will be a time when we do what needs to be done.
