Mountainous region: Mine

Knuckles' POV

I'm in an aquatic mine in my search forthe master emerald pieces "Hmm, I didn't expect the inside of the mines to be like this!" I said "This is gonna be tougher than I thought!" I said as I started to look for the pieces.

*Meanwhile*

In the capital city

Tails' POV

"Sheesh! There always seems to be a lot of police around when you don't need them!" Brody said through a talkie to me as Amy and I where hiding "Tails, any news yet?" Sonic asked through the talkie as the two were together "For some reason, I'm not getting a signal from the six remaining Chaos Emeralds..." I said "Maybe Eggman took the Emeralds into outer space" I said "Outer space?" Amy asks when we see a man hole cover being lifted by Knuckles "Knuckles!" Amy said "Hey guys, long time no see! I must have got lost in the mines!" Knuckles said "Looking for the Master Emerald pieces was tougher than I thought it would be" he said "where are we anyway?" He asks and Amy goes behind him and tryes to pull him out the hole "Hey, where you going?" Knuckles asks "Move aside Knuckles!" Amy said "I managed to find the transcripts between Eggman and the President in the goverment computer" I said "I'm following thw President's limo right now" I said "If we get into the limo, we can trace the call to find Eggman!" I said "Ok! We'll meet up there!" Brody said and I nodded running off in my mech.

*Later*

Brody's POV

Sonic, Tails and I found the president's limo and Tails and I tracked the signal to the space colony ARK and we told the president we got this and left for the desert.

Desert Area

"Inside that pyramid?" I asked  "I saw Eggman go inside the pyramid and more importantly, I saw that bat girl go inside with him as well" Knuckles said "You saw them too right?" He asked Amy "Well yeah" Amy said "We should be able to get into outer space from there!" I said "Don't know what this space colony is all about but We'll find and destroy that cannon....and then kick their imperial butts!" Sonic said "Alright!" Knuckles said "I'll go find the entrance!" Tails said and went foward in his mech.

*Later*

Once Tails find the entrance Sonic and I went ahead in the pyramid cave in order to infiltrate Eggmans base and clear the way for the others

Eventually we came across a door that had a giant keyhole "Looks like, we're heading toward the center of the base" Tails said "That Egghead sure loves mechanical things doesn't he?" I asked "I bet he has one or two spaceships lying around here somewhere" Sonic said as Tails walked to the door "The door's locked. We need a key to get in there" Tails said "No problem we can find it, right Knuckles?" I asked "What? Why do I have to find the key?" Knuckles asks "We're counting on you buddy!" Sonic said "The world's greatest treasure hunter!" I said.

Knuckles POV

I sighed and nodded and went to look for the key but when I found it a ghost appeared?

"What the....a ghost?" I asked as it got ready to attack me and I started to fight it.

Once I beat it I unlocked the door and the others came in.

Brody's POV

"Huh...that was pretty tough" Knuckles said "We did it! Let's go Amy!" Tails said "You little thieves! Did you really think you could get out of here alive?" We heard Eggman said entering the room on his mech "Come and get some Eggman!" Sonic and I said "Sonic! Brody!" Tails said "Just leave it to us Tails!" I said with a grin "Yeah get the ship ready guys" Sonic said grinning "This time I'll take your lives as well as the Chaos Emerald" Eggman said "I call on you to destroy these pests. Come out my servant!" He said and from the sand a golem emerged and we got ready to fight it.

After we defeated it Sonic and I ran to the spaceship Tails, Knuckles and Amy got in just before it launched into space and off we all go to the space colony ark.

We'll stop that cannon no matter what!
