Shirou stood in Zoe's newly decorated room, folding up her clothes and putting them away into the drawers. He looked around, placing a few of the toys in the girls toy box the sound of laughter coming from the other room. He sighed and cracked his knuckles as he left the room. "Zoe, apple slices!"Melissa smiled walking over. "Thank you!"Zoe beamed Melissa handing her the bowl. Shirou walked past, grabbing a bag filled with childrens books as he headed back towards Zoe's room. He set the bag down, taking the books out, placing them onto the shelves. He turned and kneeled down, pulling a stuffed bear out, setting it on the childs bed next to her pillow. Coughing came from the next room, making him perk up. "ZOE!! OH MY GOODNESS!! Shirou bolted out, feeling his heart stop at the scene in front of him.

Zoe sat on her knees, blood coating her hands and arms. "Is she allergic to apples"Gem mutters Melissa using a towel to wipe the blood way. Zoe fell forward, Shirou launching himself over to her, catching her head. "ZOE!!"Shirou yelled holding her in his arms, a feeling of pure fear filling him up from head to toe. Zoe laid still, blood coating her mouth. "I'll get a cup of water and some medicine!"Melissa says hurrying away. "What's going on?" Rose froze, her eyes widening in shock. "Zoe?! Ogami, what happened!"Rose gasped hurrying over. "She's allergic to apples"Shirou answers. "Just like Silvia..."Rose mumbles her hands trembling. "Here"Melissa says quickly passing a cup of water and medicine to Shirou. "Let me do it"Rose insists taking the items from the male. Shirou stepped back, covering his mouth. "Shirou.."Melissa says concerned having never seen him this shaken up before.

Zoe coughed, opening her eyes. "Here, little one"Rose smiled handing the child the cup of water. Shirou hugged Zoe tight, startling the child causing her to almost drop the cup of water. "P-Papa?"Zoe stared. He let her go, gesturing to the water. Zoe raised the cup of water to her lips, drinking down half of it. Gem took the cup, placing a hand on her forehead. "She has a small fever"Gem informs. "To bed little lady"Melissa says picking Zoe up and walking away. Shirou sat down in his chair, covering his face. "Ogami, are you alright"Rose asks. "I felt my heart almost stop when I saw her covered in blood"Shirou mumbles. Rose stared at him, noticing how he was visibly trembling. "Do you wish to be alone?"Rose asks. "Yes..."Shirou sighed nodding. She turned, walking out of the room, shutting the door behind her. He got up, walking to Zoe's room, feeling sick to his stomach. Zoe laid in bed asleep, hugging her stuffed bear. He pulled up a stool, sitting beside her.

"My lovable Silvia......I miss those times where being with each other made our worries go away..I miss your smile, your touch, your rose like scent. I wish you never left me with those memories, I never understood why you made your choice, the moment you vanished I felt my heart rip to pieces that only you could fix..the pain of loosing you made me more angry, everything felt more unfair, until something special arrived." Rose stepped closer to Zoe's room, Shirou gently holding Zoe's hand. "The moment I saw her scared expression, the blood coating her hands and arms...I felt my heart stop, it felt like I died....I needed to try and save her, I couldn't bear to feel that emotion again, the pain of loosing someone precious." Tears fell down his cheeks, Rose smiling slightly. "I understand why you made your choice, and I'm sorry for all those days I cursed your existence.." He placed a hand o Zoe's head, Zoe smiling in her sleep. "This is our baby, I know I swore to protect the beastmen but if it comes to it and it costs me my life, I will protect her."

He leaned forward, pressing a kiss to Zoe's cheek, a quiet giggle coming from the girl. "I will protect her, so I can see our baby smile, so I can hear her yell for her papa to come and play with her, so I can hold her in my arms and carry her around until she falls asleep." Shirou stared down at Zoe, a small smile on his face. "I will do my best to make sure she doesn't get sick, I'll make sure Anima-City is a place she can surely be safe." Zoe rubbed her eyes, opening them halfway. She smiled at him, before drifting off into a deep slumber again. "Our precious baby...Zoe Rosmera Ogami." Rose turned and walked away. "Mayor Rose"Melissa blinked. "Everything will be alright now"Rose smiled. She opened the front door and walked out, gently closing it behind her. "Silvia, everything is gonna be just fine"Rose smiled. Red hair appeared beside Rose, a ghostly figure with yellow eyes smiling before fading away.
