CHAPTER 05
HANKY PANKY

"So why did you bring me out? You never spoke to me since that confession last year" Caden says as she chews on her nuggets.

Last year for the October Halloween bash, Spencer, Ant, Dusty, Caden and Ethan had gone to a party. Everything was going well until Ant and Caden decided to have a drinking contest. They'd started with beer, but after they'd consumed about three bottles of it, they'd started talking about random shit. Caden is a light drinker, anything past one cup makes her high as a kite.

Ant won the competition and since he had won, Caden's dare was to confess her true feelings for Spider, so she put on her big girl panty and went up to him and confess. Everything was going great until she mentioned how she wanted to date him.

Spencer didn't take it lightly and lashed out at the girl for saying stupid stuff. Caden thought he was being mean but what she didn't know was that Spencer truly did care for her and he was hurt by how she played with his feelings knowing that he has like her. (Not that she knew that he liked her but anyway)

Ever since then, the friend wasn't the same. They mostly have a small simple conversation until tonight that is.

"Can't a guy just talk to his friend?"

"We aren't friends, you asshole. Say what you want or I'm leaving" She says and grabs her bag and the box of chicken nuggets. Spencer grips her hands, and she turns to him.

"Wait I know ya don't like me but I wanna be friends again. Look I'll even buy you a next box" She stares at him, trying to determine if he was being honest or not. His eyes were pleading with hers. She sighs.

"Fine, we can be friends again, only because I pity your sorry ass" He smiles in relief. She shakes her head at him, "But you have to be nice to my friend"

"What? You know how hard it is not to make fun of Darren?"

"Boy."

"Okay okay calm your nickers" She goes and eats her nuggets.

"Well since you're making request can I make one?" She looks up at him and waves her hand, signalling for him to continue

"Can I request a kiss-Ow fuck, what you do that for?!"Spencer says rubbing his knee, trying to soothe the pain.

LITTLE THINGS

"Awe hella fucking no. Ya'll cray cray if you think I'm gonna talk to that bitch" Caden says as she glares at Amerie. Darren goes behind Amerie who was sitting in a trolley cart. Quinn gets out of her own and goes up to Caden

"Come on, she has changed"

"No bitch changes in less than a week. Did she possess you guys?" Darren rolls their eyes at her.

"Girl shut your mouth and get over here alright? She isn't going to do anything." Caden pouts and goes over to Darren while still glaring at Amerie.

"That's not cute hon"

"Shut up Darren" 

Caden looks at Amerie's new bangs and cringes at them. It looked horrible and seeing Darren try to fix it made her cringe even more since that type of bangs didn't suit her face. 

She leans over Darren and grabs the scissors. She lightly shoves him and mumbles 'move'

She looks down at Amerie who nervously stared back. She was scared. She didn't know what the dark-skinned girl would do. Caden starts fixing the bangs, making them look more suitable to Amerie's face. 

"Love the bangs that you did, but it doesn't match her face Darren" They didn't say anything but went through Caden's handbag and found some cheery gum.

Amerie raises her head and asks "Why are you helping me?"

"I don't like you very much after what you did. Quinn can be friends with anyone but Darren. Darren is picky, if they can tolerate you to fix your fucked up head, why can't I?"

"Yeah but I don't—"

"Girl I'm trying so hard to be nice to you, shut up" 

Once Caden was done, she hands Darren back the scissors and watched as Amerie admires herself in the hand mirror. She watches the girl smile at her new bangs.

"Thanks"  Caden hummed. She goes and leans on the fence.

"Why did Harper punch you in the face?" Quinn asks, making her smile. Sometimes you have to love how honest and unaware Quinn is.
 

"I don't really know"

Darren rolls their eyes and says, "You must have done something."

"We went to a music festival last week. And after that, she just went ghost." Caden laughs and Oh'ed at her, making Darren shush at her. 

"When's Harper's birthday?" 

"November 21st." Darren goes to Quinn and eats some of her gummy bears (Idk if that's actually it but let's roll with it)

"Uh-huh. Scorpio. Unsubscribe."

Amerie stares at him, "I'm a Virgo" 

"Mmm. I'm an Aquarius. Quinni's a Libra and Caden here is an Aries"

"Are we compatible?" Caden goes over and takes some of Quinni's gummy bears.

"Not all queer people are astrology experts" Caden snorts at that. Somewhere along the lines, Caden zoned out the conversation, until Quinni called her.

"Caden?"

"Mhm, yea?"

"You zoned out again?" She didn't reply, "Come on try scream therapy with us."

Darren, Amerie and Quinni start yelling out all their frustration, and when it was time for Caden she starts to yell as well. 

"I'm a disappointment to my mom!" She yells, she looks at the trio and smiles.

"Hey, you're right. This does feel good."

LITTLE THINGS 

"Here we go. Just be cool" Caden says as she watches everyone stare at the group, specifically at Amerie.

"It's going to be fine, just remember what we said. Just own it okay? I've never made an entrance like this before." Darren says as they stare at everyone.

It felt weird. Caden wasn't used to this type of starring. Sure she has gotten the, Oh my god is that her hair?' type of stare but this is different. This is negative. 

"We should go," Amerie says as she tries to pull Darren away. Caden looks at her and says, "Girl, put on your big girl pants. Own up to the shit and go in there with confidence."

Amerie was about to reply when Malakai came up to them with a beer, "Hey cunt." 

Both Quinn and Darren jog away leaving Caden and Amerie alone with the new boy. Caden coughs, looks over to her and smiles, "Hey Denden" 

She gags that the nickname, "You disgust me. I'm going for a beer" She says and leaves the two alone. She didn't even get far because Malakai's dancing was distracted. 

She moonwalks over to him and grabs his hands and they started doing the arm wave then the kid in play then the Dougie. Then Darren and Quinn joined them. Quinn pulled  Amerie to the dance floor and soon the group started dancing.

Because of the new vibes that both Malakai and Caden set, everyone started dancing and having fun. Feeling thirsty, she leaves the dance floor and goes over to the cooler to get a beer. 

As she was drinking she groaned, not seeing her favourite flavour of beer. She kept digging until the top of the cooler close down and nearly squeezes her hands.

She looks up and sees Spencer smiling at her while holding her favourite beer, "Hey ya didn't come and check me"

"I was busy having fun now gimme," She says trying to grab the beer but Spencer pulls it away from her. He looks down at her and raises the bottle over her head. He laughs seeing her struggle until he felt a pain in his leg. Caden had kicked him.

"Thanks for the beer, love"

"What's with you and hitting me woman?"

"You just have a hittable face" Spencer takes a sit on the square rock.

"Eh, I thought I had a cute face?" She laughs then takes a sip of beer and seats down next to him. Spencer looks down at her. He really love when her hair was in a ponytail, it shows off her features more.

"Now who has been telling you all these lies?"

"Sasha" She groans at that snitch. She had let it slip to Sasha and Missy when they were playing 'Who's the Hottest Guy In School' and she said his name. If she had known that Sasha was going to open her mouth and tell everyone, she would have kept quiet.

"You have no proof"

"Is that why you aren't denying it" She didn't comment, making him smile even more.

"Don't worry, I find ya cute as well"

He leans closer to her, their lips almost touching when she pulls away. Spencer glares at her, feeling played again. All this flirting and playfulness made him think that she wants him but as soon as he makes a move, she backs off.

"Look, it doesn't matter what I think, you can't be committed."

"That's funny considering your name was on the Sex Map" She nods her head, "Yeah but those were flings. I want to try something new, and I want to be in a committed relationship. You can't even last a week without sex."

"How would you know? You know what? I bet I can last a month without sex. If I can do that you'll go out with me"

Caden's eyes widen at that. But as she starts thinking about it she starts to laugh making him frown, "Yeah right. I seriously doubt you can last a week, you can't even last a day without getting your dick wet"

"Are you a fucking pussy?" She shakes her head and finishes out her beer.

"Alright. if you can last a month without kissing, getting your dick wet, or any sort of intimate hanky-panky behaviour, then I'll go on a date with you. A real date." Spencer looks at her. This is an opportunity he won't pass up. And he sure as hell wouldn't let a chance like this slip by.

"Deal."

"Good" She smirks then gets up and goes over to Ant with Spencer right behind her. She and Ant got into a conversation about which beer flavour is better when Quinni comes up to them, "Hey Spider!" and then shoves a binder towards Spider.

Spider looks at Caden then at his friends then back at Quinn. He opens the binder, flips a few pages and gags, "Yuck! What is this shit?"

"Oh...you don't like vaginas?" Caden choked on her beer, Ant had to pat her back.

"No, I like vaginas."

"Well, you clearly don't know much about them because if you have a look here..." Quinn says leaning over and flipping a few pages, then she stops, "See most vaginas have very pronounced flaps, or labia and some of them are even lopsided, where I'm assuming you got 'Lazy Kebab' from, but it's very, very normal but you wouldn't know, it's not taught in school much. Which is actually very-"

"I've seen heaps of vaginas. Thanks" Spider says and shoves the binder harshly back to Quinn. Both Ant and Caden were watching the scene with enthusiasm and giving light commentary to each other.

"Okay, I just assumed, on account of the fact that you were lying about seeing mine, that you were lying about seeing others too." Caden and the rest of the crowd burst out laughing. 

"Yeah Quinni! You rock girl!" Caden cheers for her friend.

Feeling embarrassed, Spider still tried to defend himself, "Look, of course, we didn't have sex. Why would I root a fucknut like you?" 

"Ey!" Caden yells. Spider stares at her then walk off,  shoving Quinni. 

Caden looks at Ant and smiles, "Ayo I'm so glad you told me to come dude"

"See if you had stayed home it would have been so boring!"

"So you'd ditch Spider for lil ole me?"

"Dude you're my girl" The two starts to laugh at each other. The duo held a conversation on different topics until Caden saw Amerie leaves. She told Ant bye and goes over to Darren and Quinni.

"Is it time to go home?" Darren asks while Quinni rest her hands on Amerie's shoulder. 

"You don't have to—"

"Girl shush, we came together, so we leave together. Let's go" Caden says grabbing Amerie's hand who then grabs Quinni's who then grabs Darren's own.

"I'm not going to let her win. I'm gonna go to school and make it my bitch" The three watch their 'new' friend talk with confidence.

"Period"

LITTLE THINGS

The next day Caden decides to dress up than her usual type of clothing. When she walked through the school gates everyone was staring at her. She was wearing tight black skinny jeans with a red top and a black jacket and a half do, pigtails and the rest down. She looked good. 

"She notices that Spider was staring at her, she gives him a smirk and walks away. Suddenly someone grabs her arms and spins her around to face them.

"Can we pause the bet?" Spider says as he stares at her. He holds her by the waist as his grip tightens, but all Caden could do was gave him an innocent smile, "Now you do know that if there's any pause, there's no deal right?"

Spider huffs at her and pulls her closer to him. He tugs on the end of her shirt, "Ight, but um, here"

He goes into his bag and takes out a red slap band. He slaps it onto her wrist.

"What's this?" Caden asks as she looks down at the band, funny, it matches her top.

"Dusty's having a gig Friday, and you're coming." She plays with the band.

"How much is it?"
 

"Nah you're free" She quickly looks up at him. Spencer? Spider? Giving things away? For free? 

"Eh?  Did you have too much last night?" He rolls his eyes and chuckles at her.

"Don't you remember the bet? I'm keeping my end, and you better keep yours. See you Friday yeah?" He says and walks away from her. Caden looks down at her band and smiles, maybe he is changing.

"Caden! Come over here!" She looks up and sees Quinni waving her over. She goes over and says Hi to everyone.
 

"Huh. One of my favourite pornos starts the exact same way" Darren says.

 Caden grabs Darren's bottle  and sips it, "Dude it's too early for your jokes"

"How is the new guy so popular already? I want to bump chests with Dusty. I need one of those slap bands" Amerie says looking at Dusty, dreamily. Caden hands back Darren their bottle and replies to her question, "Cuz I introduced them. Told the guys to show him around"

Amerie looks at Caden and notices the slap band on her hand. She turns to her and asks, "You're good with Spider right?" Can you get one for me?"

"Whoa, just because I hang out with you doesn't mean we're friends and besides, Spider hates you"

"Yeah but he doesn't hate you. He goes goo-goo eyes at you...Please? Can you try?" Caden was about to reject her, but when she saw the girl's desperate look, she sighs and nods her head. Amerie smiles at Caden and goes to hug her but the girl backed away when Caden put her hand out.

"Too soon?"

"Yeah" Darren decides to add in their input, "Uh how are you going to do that? She is the reason that they're in SLTs remember? Once they hear that it's for her, they're going to be pissed"

"Darren, love, sweet, I have my ways ight. I'm getting one for everyone so relax" Caden says and grabs both Darren and Quinni's hands and walks away. 

LITTLE THINGS

Currently, everyone was in SLTs watching some weird ass video about noodles. The video is supposed to be about boundaries but it made no sense to Caden. 

"Is this supposed to teach us about boundaries? If so it's doing a horrible job...but it made me hungry" She mumbles. The scene changes to a guy taking a bunch of noodles out of someone's bowl, eating it then walking away. The class groans and laughs at the scene.

Darren raises their hands and says, "Okay, miss, I have literally no idea what that was trying to teach us"

"Also why was the girl forcing everyone to eat her noodles?" Quinni asks and Sasha decides to say "Because it's misogynist propaganda. Women aren't such dick-obsessed idiots."

"So noodles are misogynist propaganda? Wow, times have changed. Sash I disagree, because a lot of straight women are dick-obsessed, they just don't express it like men do" Caden says. 

Spider decides to add his input, "See and all the ones I've met are."

"Your sims girlfriend doesn't count, Spider" Caden snorts at that. Caden starts to ignore Miss' explanation about the video because it makes no sense.

"I have a very recognizable dick," Spider says jogging Caden back to reality.

"What dick? That micropenis?" Caden says making the class laugh, Spider looks at her and smiles, "Isn't this the same micropenis that you want?"

"Get back to me when you start to grow." Spider hushes his mouth and leans back into his seat, while Miss Jojo tries to calm the class down. The principal came to the class and everyone got quiet. 

"Uh okay, that's the end of class. If you have any anonymous questions, pop them in the box"

Caden quickly leaves the classroom to find some food.
