I woke up 20 minutes before my alarm the next morning and I quickly got changed into my black jeans with my 'Queen' band tee and a pair of white socks, I'd be changing into my uniform once I get to the firehouse anyway. I headed downstairs and into the kitchen where I made two coffee's knowing dad would be up soon too. I also was going to make pancakes for dad and myself. I found out the ingredients and tried to decide if i should make chocolate chip pancakes or blueberries, I have made blueberry and chocolate chip pancakes before and they were absolutely delicious but the question is.. would dad like them. I thought for a moment as I started weighing up the ingredients for the pancakes.

"Blueberry or chocolate chip?" I asked myself while I tried to decide the type of pancakes to make. After a short while I decided to make simple chocolate chip pancakes. I opened dads baking cupboard and grab the chocolate chips, as soon as I had all the ingredients and I had weighed everything up I added the chocolate chips and began mixing the batter.

"Morning Paige" I heard dads voice from behind me as I was making sure the pancake batter was made perfectly .

"Morning dad, coffee is ready and I'm making pancakes before I have to leave" I said to dad who came and gave me a look as if he was trying to ask if I was okay, which I was, at this moment in time I was fine.

"What pancakes have you decided to make?" Dad asked knowing how much I like to experiment with my pancakes, which was true I loved to try to make different types of pancake, although I don't make them often I just love to experiment with pancakes hence the reason I've made chocolate chip blueberry pancakes which I loved.

"Chocolate Chips, ideas deciding between chocolate chip, blueberry or chocolate chip blueberry pancakes but I didn't know if you'd like the chocolate chip blueberry pancakes so decided to make the ones I've made like a million times in the past" I said with a little smile.

"You know I would love any of the pancakes you make, apart from the strange ones you experimented with, those ones were awful" dad exclaimed as he remembered the coffee and apricots and raspberry pancakes I made, the coffee pancakes were the worst, I wanted to experiment and I used coffee extract with black food colouring, let's just say they were awful. As for the apricots and raspberry pancakes... Well they were even worse than the coffee ones and that's saying something.

"Yeah I'm never trying coffee or apricots and raspberry pancakes ever again, they were terrible" I said cringing at my failed attempts at the experiment experimented pancakes.

"Maybe if you tried with less coffee for the coffee ones or maybe make it coffee and peppermint?" Dad suggested, I wasn't too sure. It was a good idea but after the taste of the coffee ones last time I was kind of our off from actually attempting coffee pancakes again.

"Thats not that bad of an idea. I could test them out on the firehouse, Joe and Tony liked the original coffee pancakes but everyone else agreed with me when they turned out awful.

"If you like them then I'm expecting you to bring me one" dad smirked as he joked with me but I would definitely take dad one to try

"Of course I'd bring you one to try, I always do" I smiled as I began to cook the pancakes

I got to the firehouse early, not too early but I was still early. When I left dad's I was being watched, I saw that someone was watching me and that person seemed to follow me as I drove to the firehouse. I rolled my eyes as I climbed out of my car, I went to my trunk and grabbed my duffel bag and slipped it onto my shoulder as I headed up the drive way into the firehouse, first shift were scattered around the firehouse, but mostly they were getting ready to leave seeing as it was almost 8am, I made my way to the locker room and went straight to my locker and sat on the bench that was down the middle of the lockers. After a moment I opened my locker again and grabbed my uniform before heading to the bathroom to change and to actually use the toilet. Once I was back I shoved my clothes into my locker and pulled on my hoodie shoving my phone into my pocket.

"Heyy!" I grinned happily when Sylvie entered, she looked shocked to see me here before her, I mean so would i be shocked if I was never here before her, sometimes we even arrive at the same time.

"I heard you are working with me for the time being" Sylvie smiled as she opened her locker

"Yep. I don't mind though, at least with me you won't have to have a floater who probably would be so annoying" I a answered Sylvie with a small laugh, sometimes floaters can bring the whole house down, they can be up their own ass's too but their are some nice ones.

"I Couldn't ask for a better temporary partner" Sylvie and I smiled.

"I probably wouldn't have agreed if you weren't going to be my partner. Not only because your my best friend but because I know i can always rely on you to make the right calls." I smiled and Sylvie gave me a hug.

"You seem like your back to your old self, it's good" Sylvie said as she hugged me.

"Yeah, i am myself now. I think I had gotten myself into a weird mental place but I'm fine now" I nodded once the pair of us pulled away.

"Well I'm always here if you need to talk, about anything" Sylvie smiled

"Yeah, I know. I just didn't really know what was going on in my head then, it was just weird" I lied, or should I say I half lied, I couldn't tell Sylvie about Thomas, she knew what happened in the past but I couldn't tell her that he's back in my life, unwanted may I add

"Right I'm making pancakes for everyone, a suggestion made by my dad but im also going to make some normal pancakes too. Fancy helping out?" I asked Sylvie changing the subject

"Sure. What flavour pancakes was your dad's suggestion?" Sylvie asked

"Coffee and peppermint, I know the original coffee ones I made were horrible but dad suggested coffee and peppermint. Maybe I could make them with actual coffee" I shrugged

"It could work, maybe coffee on its own was just overwhelming" Sylvie suggested while the pair of us made our way into the kitchen of the firehouse, first shift had left and the common room was now filling up with second shift.

"Pancakes should be ready for everyone in about half an hour" i announced.

"Chocolate chip, plain and a experimental flavour suggested by my dad" I quickly added.

"I promised dad I would drop one of the coffee peppermint pancakes by the station, he suggested the flavour so it's only right he gets to try it" I said turning to Sylvie.

"We can pop one by after" Sylvie said smiling and I nodded. i quickly got the ingredients together and split the batter up into 3, I asked Sylvie to mix in the chocolate chips into one of the batters while I added some freshly brewed coffee into the mixture in front of me and then added some peppermint extract, they smelt delicious, I just hoped they tasted as good.

"I've already eaten this morning but I've got to try one of the experimental pancakes." I said to Sylvie.

"That is a must, you have tried all your experimental pancakes you've made in the past" Sylvie pointed out, it was true. I got 3 large plates out to put the pancakes on once i have finished making each of them.

"Right I think plain pancakes should be first" I said once all the extra ingredients were mixed in well. It didn't take that long to make the pancakes and soon their were 3 plates of freshly baked pancakes, I popped one to the side for dad and told everyone the flavour of the experimental pancake.

"Okay I didn't have much hope for the coffee peppermint pancakes but wow, my dad really did have a good idea" I exclaimed as I enjoyed the pancake.

"It's way better than the original coffee flavoured pancake" Kelly said smiling and everyone seemed to agree with me.

"Voight, theirs someone who wants to talk to you" Tony tells me and I frowned. Who would want to speak to me. Without another word I stood up made my way onto the apparatus floor. I shoved my hands into my own pocket and headed onto the apparatus floor.

"You gotta be kidding me" I groaned to myself when I saw Thomas Fricking Wild stood by truck.

"What the fuck are you doing here! You need to get it into your thick skull that I don't want you in my life!" I said angrily, I was trying to stay calm I couldn't let the rest of the house know what is going on! I can handle myself

"You don't know what your talking about baby, I just wanted to see you" Thomas said stroking my arm. I rolled my eyes in annoyance and frustration.

"Leave me the fuck alone! And don't ever show up at my work again! Do I make myself fucking clear" I said angrily as I shoved Thomas away.

"Don't be stupid, You know you love me, you want me just as much as I want you. I'll see you when you get off shift, I'll make you see sense" Thomas smirked and I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever Thomas! Now leave" I growled angrily. Thomas smirked before turning around and leaving., this was going to be a long day if he was going to keep doing this, I couldn't be too sure if he was the stalker but if he is I know I'll have to report him sooner or later

It was later in the shift, about 4:32pm to be exact when ambo was called out and that's when Thomas appeared once again, Sylvie and I were attending to a pregnant woman who's labour was progressing rather quickly, she was in a lot of pain, this was my first labour I've had to deliver, since my own obviously but I was ready.

"Right Julia, I'm going to be here all through this. I know your probably scared, your bringing a beautiful baby into the world but you have two paramedics here to help you. And I'll let you into a little secret. I had a little boy, 7 years ago" I almost whispered the last part, I didn't talk about my son, I didn't think I had the right too, I gave him up for adoption after all.

"We can't move you but as soon as you have given birth to the baby we can get you to med and checked out." I reassured Julia, she nodded. Outside the window of Julia's house I saw Thomas. I was certain that he was my stalker now but I didn't have the evidence.

"Come on almost their" I said letting Julia squeeze my hand. Before I knew it there was a crying baby girl.

"Congratulations Julia, you have a gorgeous baby girl" I smiled as I bundled up the baby and gently handed her to Julia.

"She's really here" Julia exclaimed with tears in her own eyes. Sylvie and I got Julia into the back of the ambo and I sat in back with her.

"I'm going to name her Paige, it's one of the names I have loved for a long time and you have just delivered my daughter. Paige Analisa" Julia practically whispered positively

"It's a beautiful name for a beautiful little girl" I smiled to Julia.

"Tomorrow evening how does a girls night sound? You and me, alcohol and a takeaway?" I asked Sylvie at the end of shift. I was having a meal with David and Jamie tonight so I wasn't going to suggest it for now.

"Sounds like a plan, what are you up to tonight?" Sylvie asked curiously.

"Going round to David and Jamie's for a meal, David invited me the other day. Im taking beer and tequila round and I guess we're making a night of it" I smiled to sylvie who nodded.

"We'll have a great evening with them and I'll bring vodka and some snacks for our girls night" sylvie said, I smiled happily, it was going to be a good few nights, tomorrow I was going to talk to sylvie about what is actually going on but until then I was looking up, I was being positive and even though I was sure Thomas was stalking me I wasn't going to let him get the best of me, he wasn't going to win not this time.
