King Von POV

I drove off and picked my phone up and dialed my nigga Durk to see where he was.

"Ayyyyyooooo" his loud ass said.  "damn nigga , you loud af." he laughed "stfu what you want folks" I could tell he was in the studio "you at the studio?" I popped a bitch and went towards the studio "yeah its me and booka here come thru bitch" I laugh and hang the phone and turned my music up

started thinking about what I said to Lani, I wasn't lying I knew I fucked up and I knew she didn't want me to be there and I couldn't blame her. I hurt that girl and I did enough by doing that, I didn't want to make her uncomfortable at our own daughters party. I knew she wasn't inviting me but it made feel good to know she was willing to put her hurt aside for our daughter, but I wasn't gonna do that to her, I'm just happy she gave me the option to see her still and even spending the day with her.

I knew I could have told her about T and Brit but what was that gonna change? I still slept with them both while with her, I felt she didn't need to know because it wasn't gonna change anything for us so I kept that to myself . The one way I was gonna win Lani back was showing her I changed and that exactly what I was gonna do is show her. I was interrupted by durk calling my phone "ayyy meets us at club karma" he hung up on me before I could say no. I smacked my teeth and just drove there.

KEHLANI POV

I locked the door and I finally sighed, I didn't know I was holding in my breath till I got inside. I thought he would just accept my invitation but I was shocked and a little happy that he turned it down I didn't know if I was hundred percent sure if I was ready to be in the same place with everyone from his side just yet especially Tink and Annmarie. I haven't talked to them yet and I feel bad about it because I didn't mean to cut them off but I didn't want von in my life and that meant they couldn't be.

I stopped thinking about von and went upstairs to the studio and started playing the song again; it was called bad news. this song was about von, most of all the song on this are inspired by him and our relationship. when ever I listen to this song it makes me remember why I loved and cared about him so much and why I still do love him and care about him, but I wasn't ready to allow him back in just yet I need time to heal and think if that's exactly what I want and whenever that day comes I will know.

but for now I will keep us at arms length and keep it about our kids and that's it but tonight showed me he was only here for deya and when I seen the both of them sleeping together it melted my heart and that was the only reason I consider him to be at her birthday party. deya and this baby deserve a father especially one like von -- I was cut off by my thought by my phone, I looked down and seen Lexi calling

"hey bitch!" I laugh at her loudness "what's up Lexi" I knew she was probably calling about going out "lets go to the club tonight" I knew it "I can't ms Jackson is gone for the week" I honestly didn't want to go out I just wanted to be inside with my baby plus I'm pregnant I don't wanna be around a bunch of drunk people who either will start fighting or try to touch on me Im good ."come on you know you can call ms. dee she is always willing to babysit" I sigh because I knew she wouldn't give up.

"I even got a section so no need to worry about anybody coming around you" If I didn't say yes she wouldn't stop bugging me ."fine, only for a few hours but I have to be back by 2 do you understand me?" I told her I didn't wanna be out all night it was already 11 so a few hours out wouldn't hurt me I hang the phone up and dial ms dee number and she answers on the third ring.

"I'm sorry if I woke you up ms.dee" she yawned "now child you know I don't sleep this early you need me to babysit" she already knew " yes she is already asleep and I will be home by 2" she laughed " baby bring her here and pick her up tomorrow morning I know you need some me time and you know I love me some deya that my grand baby" I laugh ms dee was another sweet old lady that I met through ms Jackson

she adored deya like she was her own and that's what I loved about her the most she let deya call her granny and she would randomly take her for me to spend time with her. I try not to use her as a babysitter too often unless I really need her "you sure ms.dee?" she sighed "girl come next door now and bring me my baby now!!" she hung up on me and I just laughed.

I got dress and I styled my hair a little. Once I felt I looked good I went to deya room, got an overnight bag ready and I carefully picked her up and and went downstairs where I grabbed my keys, purse and left out. I went next door to Ms. Dee house and rang the door bell.

it only took a second for her to open the door. I walked in and went to the room deya stays in when she's here and I carefully laid her down and gave her a kiss on the forehead before I walked out. "Here is her fathers number. if I don't answer my phone in case of an emergency  you can just call him" she looked confused but took the paper "we will talk about this later" I smiled and walked away

I went to my car, started it up and headed for the night club. Lexi wanted me to meet her at club karma, I've heard about this place but this was my first time coming here. I texted Lexi that I was here moments later I looked up and seen her at the door so I walked up to her "finally bitch you came out"

I rolled my eyes "Lexi you know me I'm not worried about clubs right now" she just took my hand and pulled me inside the club and once we got inside it was packed af, everyone and they momma was here "YOOOOO SHOUTOUT TO THE WHOLE O BLOCK AND OTF CREW FOR COMING OUT TONIGHT! DURKIO AND VON IN THE BUILDING!" I widen my eyes and let Lexis hand go, she didn't even noticed. I couldn't believe out of all the nights I go out tonight had to be the night we are in the same club "LANI!" I can hear Lexi calling me so I looked around and noticed her and I stared walking that way till I bumped into this hard wall like body "shit! I'm sorry I wasn't watching wher-" 

"don't worry Lani" I looked up and I was to face to face with von, we just stared at each other and honestly it felt like we were the only ones in this club. He bent down and whispered in my ear "you look beautiful tonight" he winked at me and walked away, I just smiled. He thinks he's funny. "LANI OVER HERE" I turned to look at her and walked up to her section "everyone this kehlani aka Lani and lani this Cee and his girlfriend, this is fredo , Jackie Ryan and lauran" I waved to everyone and everyone went back to talking expect for Fredo, he kept staring at me and it made me feel uncomfortable. I Ignored it and kept talking to Lexi.  

the night went on I looked down at my phone and saw it was almost 2 and was so happy because this night was not it. Fredo wouldn't stop staring it was creepy and I was just over it. I looked at my phone and realized I need to go but I had to use the bathroom so I was gonna do that first and then say my byes. "Lexi I'll be back, I gotta go to the bathroom" she nodded her head "you need me to come with you?" she was getting ready to get up but I stopped her "no I'm good, you stay and ill be back" I got up and walked down the stairs and went straight for the bathroom.

I went inside and did what I needed to do to then I washed my hands and I walked out. I didn't get that far until I was pushed into a wall "what the fuck!" I looked up then seen a drunk fredo "you've been playin hard to get all night" he tried to kiss my neck but I pushed him off "get the fuck off me wtf is wrong with you" he slapped me and pushed me up against the wall and before he could come near me a body was right in front me and I heard a body hit the floor. That's when I looked down and saw it was fredo who was now knocked out.

"you good folks?"  I looked up and saw von standing in front of me."Lani , you okay shawty?" everything around me just stood still, I was frozen in time. he started shaking me "ma , you good? talk to me lil folks." noise faded out, I couldn't hear anything , and that's when everything went black
