FREYA KNIGHT
was a dangerous girl with a pretty face, sugar and spice but nothing nice. Growing up to be a killer spy with no moral compass, things got a little complicated for the in-training spy at the world's greatest; the Red Room Academy. Living up to legends such as the infamous Natalia Romanova, she always felt that she had something to prove, something to make her stand out from the rest of the lethal weapons surrounding her. When she lands the mission of a lifetime in New York City, she's determined to prove everyone wrong and to make sure that she's recognised as more than just a figure in a crowd.

After the events that took place during the Avengers' Civil War, the Red Room decided to put an in-training agent to monitor America's newest hero; Spiderman. He was young and unique and unlike all the others on the scene, he was easy to get close to. There was something about him that no one could understand, and the secret of his powers was one that captured much attention. As the perfect age and look for a student, Freya is placed at Midtown High, blending in as just another high school student with a keen interest in every science, meaning she had every form of access to Peter Parker, just as her mission needed her for.

However, the world of average man is one Freya could never anticipate, even with all the extensive training and studying done to infiltrate the ranks of high school. All her life, she was taught to have no mercy and simply do as instructed - yet, as she becomes more accustomed to the ways of the strange Americans, especially the one centred in her mission, she begins to realise just how wrong she had been all her life. Despite every attempt to conceal and become the ruthless warrior that would earn her the right to live, when the quiet boy she was keeping tabs on makes her head spin and heart flutter, she knows she's in too deep.

How does one find a balance between finding yourself and being who everyone wants you to be at the same time?

However, I do own this plot, all original characters, and all writings done in this book unless otherwise stated. I'd appreciate very, very much if you respected this and looked at this story as something to appreciate, NOT to steal and claim as your own. I'm a tired, bitter old(ish) lady who doesn't have much, and these silly little books mean a great deal to me. So if I can anyone stealing a word of this book, I'll be filing a complaint with my lawyer (aka, throwing hands & being incredibly passive-aggressive -- and I'd fear that, my skills with the written word in terms of malicious intent are not to be reckoned with).

Some characters might have opinions that you don't agree with and which may upset you. Please realise now that a, they have many reasons why they do what they do, and b, that does not mean I necessarily agree with them. This is purely (probably) fiction, it's not real. Your fave fictional character can still be your fave and this is not a book meant to attack anyone unless explicitly stated. So don't get pissed off at me if you don't like something a character does.

This story might contain mature scenes and references, referring to crude humour, language violence, sexuality, and other things that might make children turn to their parents and ask 'Mommy, what does [insert word here] mean?'. Probably not suitable for children under the age of eleven or so. Obviously I can't stop you from reading my works or any content on here, but I'd advise finding a lighter book, if you are still young.

This book will detail several violent scenes that may or may not upset you. This includes violent medical procedures, fights of various sorts, emotional and physical abuse and heavy mention of death. I know some of these may be sensitive subjects, so be warned and don't continue if you think it might not leave you in a good place. Take care of yourself.

ALSO. ALSO. This book is not edited in the slightest. I wrote it when I was significantly younger than I am now and I did not have the writing capabilities I sort of do now, or at least a more mature sense of how real life plays out. This is not my greatest work and while I'm happy to keep it up because I know many like it, I would appreciate if you held back on any plot/grammar/etc errors. I probably already know they're there and have probably cringed like half a dozen times over it. Proceed knowing this book is not the greatest (by FAR) you'll ever read, enjoy if you want to, or just don't read at all if this warning speaks to you. Just remember I wrote this young & I know it's bad at a lot of spots (trust me haha this book drives me half mad).
