Loki woke up with a headache and groaned ´never again´ he thought to himself as he got up and went to the kitchen. Feeling a bit sympathetic he started to make breakfast as an apology. Once he was done he flipped up a cup with ice and water, making his way to anthonys room. He walked in the room and snickered before splashing the mechanic with the ice water making him jolt awake. 

¨y´know I cant even be mad about that¨ he chuckled, his voice low as it was still laced with sleep. Loki bite his lip before pushing any sexual thoughts down. 

¨I made food¨ Loki said as tony sat up ¨ill be down in a minute¨ he said. loki nodded and 7went downstairs.

Shortly after Tony walked downstairs and went into the kitchen, getting himself some food and going over to the couch, sitting down next to loki. ¨so, why´d you drink anyway?¨ He asked, taking a bite of his food.

¨I wanted to try it¨ Loki shrugged ¨now my head hurts so I dont think it was worth it¨

Loki hit Tony lightly causing him to laugh. God he really liked that laugh. Loki smiled a bit and turned his attention to whatever was on the t.v, occasionally stealing glances at Tony.

Once Tony was down with his food he put his plate in the sink and told Loki he was gonna be down in the lab for a bit. His heart fluttered at the way Loki smiled at him and he hated to admit why, so what better way to get it off his mind than to tinker.

“Do mad scientists get lunch breaks?”

Tony jumped, jerking his head towards the sources of the sound. Loki leaned against the doorway of the lab, cocky grin on his face. Tony knew he got a kick out of startling him.

¨Yeah and I was wondering if you wanted to go out to eat or something¨ He smiled making Tony get that cheesy feeling again as he gazed into loki´s icy blue orbs ¨yeah sure, I dont feel like cooking dinner anyway¨ he chuckled, getting up from his workbench and stretching a bit.

¨yḱnow you´re very small¨ Loki said, getting up aswell. Tony rolled his eyes, letting a smile creep on his face. ¨I know¨

Loki smiled back and led Tony upstairs.

¨What brought up going out to dinner anyway?¨

¨You were hiding, I thought we were doing well so I had to fix it¨ Loki said the last part a bit quietly making Tony frown a bit. ¨Oh uh, sorry bout that¨ he said, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. Loki gave him a reassuring look before dragging him to his bedroom ¨wear something nice but not to formal¨ with that Loki walked out the room, leaving Tony to change, not that it mattered if he stayed considering he gave him a fuckin bath, Tony chuckled softly to himself and threw on a pair of clothes and walking back out. Loki looked him up and down with a smile.

¨You look ravishing¨ he said causing Tony to blush a bit, oh man was he in trouble. 

¨you don´t look half bad yourself¨ came the replay, hinting that he meant it as a flirt.

Assuming Loki knew that, he linked their arms together and took them out to the car, Tony wasn´t sure if this was better than hiding but it was a hell of a lot better than a couple months ago when they were trying to rip each other's throats out. They got in the car and Tony started it, feeling a bit nervous but pushed it down and started the car.

¨Nervous?¨ Loki chuckled, looking at him with a soft gaze. His heart fluttered as he nodded, turning his attention to the road, he was in a lot of trouble.

Once they got to the restaurant both men got out of the car and made their way into the building. Loki got them a table and sat down, propping his elbows on the table.

¨Not exactly how I planned my night going, but I think it changed for the better, Tony said, running his fingers through his hair. Loki nodded in agreement as they ordered their food. The rest of the night went surprisingly well but the more Tony looked at Loki the more things he liked about him. He was so fucking screwed.
