Point 5: Rusty

"Good morning Team!" Josh grinned as he carried a tired Y/N piggyback style into the gym.
Most of the other males yawned tiredly in reply.
"Why're we up so early?" Complained Atsushi.
"Well if you hadn't figured it out yet, we're farther behind than the other teams. We have no uniforms, no strategy, and we haven't trained as a team what-so-ever." Josh stated as he placed Y/N on the bench. "That's why as of today, we'll be waking up at five every morning, from Monday through Saturday. That way we'll be able to use the gym for four hours with no interruption." He continued as he stood in front of the tired/annoyed nine.
"Hah!? You sound as if you're doubting our skills." Daiki scowled.
"That's because we are." The annoyed tone of Y/N caused the males to look at the (H/C). "You might've been the best in Japan, but it's actually been years since any of you had played actual basketball, let alone as a team together. Your moves are rusty." She stated.
"Rusty?" Taiga scoffed in disbelief.
"Yes. I've taken the time to study some of the other teams. When compared to them, you guys, at this point, are like a mouse compared to a snake." Y/N continued.
The nine glanced at each other, as if unsure if what they're being told is true or not.
Y/N was suddenly standing in front of them, hands on her hips as she smirked at the males. "But we'll show them that even a mouse can roar like a lion."

-Evening-14 hours later/7 pm-
Y/N was out on a jog.
As mentioned before, she usually did it in the mornings. But since the training had taken over her hours during that time, she had scheduled for herself to just continue running in the afternoon.
She was on her way towards her apartment from the park, when she saw that the lights in the gym were on.
Odd. The janitor usually locks up at six-thirty. The (H/C) thought, before crossing the street to check things out.
Opening the glass door to the entrance hall of the gymnasium, Y/N could hear the loud screeching of someone's shoes on the polished floors of the gym.
It was odd. To most people, the sound was beyond annoying. Some even resembled the sound as someone dragging their nails across a chalkboard. Though, to Y/N, the sound seemed to comfort her.
Pushing open the large black doors that'd lead out to the bleachers of the gym, Y/N allowed her gaze to wander. At first, she saw Jeffery, the janitor who was probably old enough to be Y/N's father, sitting in one of the bleachers while watching whoever was making the screeching noises. A look of interest and astonishment was on his face.
She couldn't have blamed him, though. After all, the ones who were playing were the old members of the Generation of Miracles, plus Taiga.
"They're incredible." Jeffery stated as Y/N sat beside him, never taking his eyes off of the six who were playing -Akashi was standing near the bench with a whistle-.
"I know that much. They're just not good enough yet." Y/N sighed.
Jeffery glanced at Y/N, the little girl that he's known for almost five years since she began working with the company in America. He's heard stories, rumors, that she wasn't able to feel compassion towards anything. He couldn't blame her after hearing how many times she's moved around. But looking at how concentrated she was on those boys, he couldn't help but to smile as he patted the top of her head.
Y/N blushed a bit in embarassement and shuffled a bit away from Jeffery.
"You worry too much. You've got a good team, L/N, be proud of them." Stated the older man as he stood up.
"Trust me, I am." Y/N muttered with a smile, as Jeffery began to walk towards the doors Y/N had come through, while Ryouta was the first to spot the (H/C) and happily call out to her.
"Hello, N/N-chii!" He waved, only to end up getting hit in the head by the ball. "Ouch! Kuroko-chii, you did that on purpose!" The blond whined.
"I don't know what you're talking about." The bluenette deadpanned.
Y/N chuckled under her breath and shook her head with a grin.
I worry too much, huh? She shook her head again, before going to the doors that would lead her down to the gym floor.
That way she could yell at her team for the importance of sleep.

(A/N: Who do you guys think they should go up against first? I'm saving America and Italy for later, so those are the only teams you can't vote for. I'm open to any other ideas, as well as the players name, jersey number, or picture. =^.^= Thank you.)
