-Next Day-World Gym-
The World Gym was a simple structure compared to most gyms that'd be used during the tournament.
It seated up to 4,000 people, as well as having cameras on every level so that viewers around the world could watch. There were actually two courts, one on the first floor, and one on the second.
The hardwood floors were always shining and clean, usually causing the squeaking of the player's shoes to ring throughout the whole building, as well, the white, porcelain like walls rose to the ceiling where there was a large 4-way screen for those farther away from the court could see.
Y/N was sitting on one of the benches, her eyes closed as if in concentration as she waited for the nine Japanese males to get dressed out in the locker rooms that were beneath the first level of bleachers.
Hearing the door to the gym open, Y/N opened one of her (E/C) orbs and looked at the individual who had walked in.
"Yo, small fry." The familiar orangette grinned as he held up a hand in greeting.
"Joshuuuuaaaa!!!" Y/N growled as she jumped off of the bench and jumped onto the poor male's back.
"How dare you be late like this! It's so disrespectful! Not only that but you knew they were gonna be here! Damn you soccer dad!" The (H/C) followed her rant with a string of curses while pulling at his hair.
"Ow, ow, geez I'm sorry Small fry, ow, hey stop it!" The male continued to whine as he spun around in circles, in hope of grabbing and getting the upset female off of him.
The two froze though by someone clearing their throat.
"Oh, you guys are finally done. About time, my great grandmother dresses faster than you." Y/N sighed, casually lying her chin on the top of the unknown male's head, still on his back.
"Your great grandmother is dead though, Small fry." Y/N rolled her eyes and bopped the top of the guy's head.
"Guys, this is my partner, Joshua Garcia. Soccer dad, these are the recruits." Y/N introduced.
"Great to finally meet you guys, Small fry here talked nonstop about you guys when-" Y/N, much to the other's disappointment, covered Josh's mouth.
"That is highly classified information, so shut up, soccer dad." She hissed.
"Right, right, whatever." Josh chuckled, before glancing at the other males in the room as a serious expression crossed his features.
"You nine have been volunteered by your highschools to be here, they said that each of you have some sort of special talent." He stated, never taking his amber colored orbs off of the nine. "Of course, I've only heard certain rumors up to this point, and I will be testing you out. As of today you will have to work to be on the team."
"You mean...we have to try out?" Taiga asked, shocked.
"Very good Gigantor, I'm glad to see that those burgers haven't gotten to you yet." The red head jumped at Y/N's sudden appearance beside him.
"O-Oi!" He glared at her, though she simply ignored it.
"How are we going to try out?" Tetsuya calmly questioned, though his powdered blue orbs showed he was a bit anxious.
"Easy, a quick game of Horse." Josh stated.
"But...there's nine of us, wouldn't that be a bit uneven?" Ryouta curiously asked.
"Of course not." Josh grinned, grabbing the ball off of the bench Y/N had been sitting on.
Looking back at the confused males with a grin, he spun the ball on his index finger. "You'll have Y/N on one of the teams." He stated, tossing the ball at the female, who easily caught it with one hand.
"Very well then." She sighed. "On one team will be Dai, Gigantor, Shin, Kizu, and Ryo. The other team is whoever is left." Y/N stated.
"No fair! Why can't I be on N/N-chii's team!?" Ryouta whined.
"She has her reasons." Seijuro simply stated, though was slightly grinning.
Not only was he on a team with Y/N, but the red head was sure that this game would be interesting.
