Abhi's POV

I have just landed in Kolkatta.I came to know that Preeti's parents resides here in Kolkatta.I thought Seshi would have gone to her Childhood friend Chaitra but my anticipation turned out to be wrong.She came here to search Preeti's Parents.

What's going on in her mind?Why it became so necessary for her to meet them.I don't know how are they going to recieve her?What if they blame her for their daughter's death.What if they harm her with their words.What if they misunderstand her?

I sat holding my hand.Seshi is crazy to take such an extreme and unexpected step.

I didn't stop myself for another second.I walked to my car and drove as fast as I can to Preeti's house.

I ran the bell and stood in front of the main door.I am waiting there impatiently  stomping my foot.

"Hello!"I grined a bit at a middle aged lady standing in front of me.

"Hello"She smiled hesitantly greeting me back with her sweet voice.

"I want to meet Preeti's parents"I said scratching my temple frowning and looking here and there.

She glared at me for a second and shut her eyes squeezing them.

"Please!"I begged at the lady who is looking at me with a sullen and gloomy expressions on his face.

"Come in,Please!"She said as she got out of some trance.

"Thank you!"I mumbled and walked in clenching my fist tightly due to nervousness.

She took me to the living room and there I saw a man in his early sixties reading a news paper adjusting his spectacles now and then.

"He came here to talk to us,Preeti's parents"She said slowly

He raised his head and glared at me for a second.

"Ah....!"I stood there rubbing my nape.

"Sit!"He gestured me to sit after a second.

"Thank you"I smiled at him nervously occuping the couch.

"What do you want to talk with us?Why?!"He asked straight away on his face.

"I learnt that Seshi came to your house and met you both!"I mumbled.

"Yes!How do you know her?"He unfolded the paper and looked at me crouching his eyebrows.

"I am her husband Abhiram"I forwarded my hand but he ignored.

"Oh!"He looked at me pressing his nose bridge wiping a lone tear in his eye.

"Did she come here?What did she talk to you?"I asked looking at them curiously.

"You are blessed to have her as your wife!"He gave a pale smile.

"She feels she is responsible for Preeti's death but......"That lady, Preeti's mom burst out into tears.

"Yes,She feels so!"I mumbled and lowered my head.

"It's all because of him,that bloody jerk Anirudh.He killed my daughter.He killed her in the name of love. "Her mom accused Anirudh.

"But Seshi thinks she is the reason behind Preeti's suicide"I sighed.

"No,it's not a suicide.It's a murder and that man killed my daughter"Her mother said crying bitterly,falling on her knees.

"Calm down!"Preeti's Dad rushed and held her tightly.

He embraced her in his arms protectively trying to paify her pain,anger and agony.

"He killed my daughter."She kept on mumbling and drift into sleep.

He carefully placed her on bed and gave a weak smile hiding his pain behind gleary eyes.

"She is suffering from depression"He said barely.

"I am so sorry.You lost your daughter and now your wife is....."I trailed off as I don't know what to talk and how to console him.

"Leave it"He sighed and looked away.

"Why did she call it as a murder?Preeti commited suicide right?!"I asked him mustering all my courage after a brief time.

"Preeti saw him with a girl....."He threw a disgusting look and continued calming himself.

"He cheated her breaking Preeti's heart into pieces.She trusted him to core she didn't pay a  heed for our words too.She was deeply in love with him.She even tried to release him by gathering few evidences proving him innocent when police arrested him when he molested a girl in Australia.
She supported him in every time,by every means but he cheated her breaking her heart into pieces.She commited. ....."He swallowed the last word wiping his tears.

"I am sorry"I mumbled averting my gaze.I am surprised to notice that his words make me shed few tears.

"I tried to convience Seshi but she didn't listen my words.She came to us and confessed everything to us with a pure heart.She was crying all the time.Sorry,we couldn't convience her"He said sincerely.

"It's okay"I closed my eyes blaming my recklessness.I should've been more cautious.I cursed myself for leaving her as such.

"How is she?Is she fine now?!"He gave me a shock with his words.

"Isn't she here?!"I asked him in a serious tone.

"No!"He nodded with a blank face.

"Then where is she?!"I closed my eyes sighing a bit.

"We don't know,She came here and left the house before we could give her an answer and convience her."He said in an apologetic tone.

"Oh my god!"I sprang up from chair and stood there rubbing my nape.

"Please!"He whisper yelled in a fatherly tone.

"What if Anirudh harm her?"I kicked the couch and stood there rubbing my nape nervously.

"Do you know him personally?"His question surprised me.

"Yes,but why...?"I shook my head.

"Yes he was my friend!"I muttered under my breathe.

"Seshi never mentioned that she knew him personally.She told us that she learnt her mistake and she feels responsible for Preeti's death.She said that she commited a very big mistake by giving wrong information to police.But she never mentioned that she knows him."He looked baffled by my confession.

"He tried to kill Seshi for her mistake."I said swallowing all my pain.

"Oh my!"He looked at me pursing his lips.

"Where are you Seshi!"I whispered her name again and again.
