Its been three years now. Maka and soul are now 18. Maka had graduated from high school and soul became leader of the pack.

Soul has been working on a little surprise for maka. He was gonna propose to her.

He was at the house setting up a picnic. He was gonna propose to her on a romantic picnic under the stars.

Half of him was nervous while the other excited. The ring he got for her was golden and had three small shiny jewels.

Maka arrived from hanging out with her friend liz and didn't see soul. She looked around and saw a figure outside in the backyard.

Maka knew it was him. She could even see his shadow and know it was him.

She walked out and he saw her and smiled. "Hey soul what are u doing?" Maka asked.

"Just u know decided to do something for my girlfriend" soul sas while sitting down patting the spot next to him for indicating for maka to sit too.

She glady did and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks soul so a picnic any special occasion? She saw soul look nervous.

"Is something wrong?" Maka asked worried. "Maka there was something I needed to ask u."

Maka looked at him curious. "Maka stand up." Maka did. Soul leaned down on one knee and took out a black box.

Maka gasped and coverd her mouth as tears came out. "Maka i've known you my whole life and I love u more than anything I would die for u. Even if everyone else in the world would hate us non of that would mattet beacuse all that matters is u. Maka alvarn will u marry me?

Maka hugged soul the tightest yet. "Yes a thousand times yes!" Soul looked at maka and gave her a toothy grin.

And for the first time ever he kissed his fiancee.
