Unwelcomed teddies
Little Percy's POV
We are at the pavilion and it was oddly silent. I looked and Jasy, Who was talking to the half horse guy. I continued to eat my blue fruit loops, that I have picked aside from the rest, cause my mom use to. I missed her so much! Maybe Jasy can take me to her! I ate my food quickly and sat as still as I could. Maybe if I was good then Jasy will consider taking me to my mommy's!
"Percy!" Jasy called me over. I jumped excitedly and rushed over to him. He seemed happy and yet nervous, which confused me. Well I might have to ask!
"Hi Jasy!" I said excitedly. He dragged me over to the house we have been staying in, and he looked scared. "Why are you scared?" I asked, tilting my head slightly.
"Percy, listen to me, I need to to sit here quietly, protect yourself. Hide if you need to, they can't see you, or else something bad will happen." Jason warned me strictly. I couldn't help but be afraid, I remember my mom, one time, ushering me to my room to hide because Gabe had to much to drink and wasn't being nice. Not like he ever was.
"Why?" I asked, trying to hide the tremble in my lip. I couldn't let myself be afraid, mommy wouldn't be happy if I was scared.
"There are monsters here, and I don't want you to get hurt." Mommy didn't was me to get hurt either, and maybe I didn't, not that time at least. What he did to her wasn't good, she was hurt, broken. What if that happens to Jasy?
"Will you get hurt?" I asked, tears threatening to fall. No Percy! Don't let yourself cry, don't. Jason bit his lip, and that made me terrified. I hugged him tightly, I didn't want him to leave me. I don't want him to end up like mommy, hurt.
"I promise you, I will be fine." He said, hugging me before leaving. I felt alone, for the first time in a while. This was my second time being alone since I woke up here about 2 weeks ago, the first was when I was kidnapped.
Jason's POV
I couldn't swear to River Styx, it was to big of a promise to uphold. But he doesn't know what River Styx is, so I could just not let him know. I can't lie to him though, I'll try my best not to die, for him.
"Jason! Hurry up! There seems to be an army of them!" Leo called out to me. I nodded and grabbed Gladius, my trusty sword, and started fighting to kill whatever monster I could.
I was in the middle of a battle, full of seemingly never ending monsters. I was getting exhausted, and it lasted for almost two hours so far. Some monsters were easy to kill, but some not so much.
"Jasy!" I heard a scream. Percy! I looked around rapidly, but suddenly all battles stopped and the monsters backed off.
"Ahhh, what got a hold of him? Hecate? About time she snapped and joined us." A deep voice laughed evilly. I looked over to see an unfamiliar face, although I knew who it was. He was holding Percy from the scuff of the back of his shirt, and he was crying in fear. He tried to huddle himself and escape his grasp.
"What do you want?" I growled dangerously. I glared at him with my sharpest glare that I have gotten better at, and I saw him flinch, uncomfortable under my glare. I was proud of myself for that, but not proud enough to smile and dance around.
"Well, now that we have Perseus, nothing anymore." He chuckled evilly. I growled and charged, monsters falling left and right. I would not allow any harm to come to Percy, I'm the reason he wasn't able to defend himself, so I'm going to defend him, even if it's the last thing I do.
"Jason! Don't! He isn't worth it!" Annabeth shouted. I growled dangerously, and slammed my sword into the ground. Lighting struck from the air and hit many monsters around me, and one in front of Annabeth to warn her not to mess with me. The rest of the way to Kronos was easy, because monsters were cowering.
"Give Percy back, or I'm going to have to take him." I warned, not daring to step any closer. I don't know what he would do to Percy if I did.
"Take him then, let's see what happens." He grinned, but it definitely wasn't friendly. I was ready to run before he got his sword out, but it was to late. He didn't have his original weapon luckily. Just a dagger, I couldn't tell if it was poisoned or not though.
I charged at him quickly, but he dodged, I didn't think it would be a quick fight, I guess I got to cocky though, he put the sword to my neck and held me close, so I wouldn't be able to move.
"Now now now, son of Zeus, people like you die." He chuckled like it was an inside joke.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but Zeus ain't my father. I'm Roman." I said, I was hoping he would do something rash, like push me away and let someone sneak behind him, but he just laughed. Percy stayed silent, like he was waiting for the perfect moment, like getting grabbed from behind was normal. I have to remember he can take care of himself sometimes.
"You are still my grandson, maybe not in this form, but you are in a twisted way." He countered. Suddenly his dagger dropped and I was able to scurry away, and I saw that Percy was already gone, running fast enough to give Hermes a challenge. I smiled at him, he keeps surprising again and again.
"Watch out!" I heard Hazel shout, but it was to late.
A/N: Finally! Should I end each chapter with a question? Just a random one? Sure. First one, favourite artist/band? Who do you listen to?
