Truth or dare

The 7 and I were sitting in cabin 3, my cabin. We were playing truth or dare and it was pretty interesting. Jason was forced to wear a superman costume and go to the Aphrodite cabin and pose for them. Leo was forced to go outside and set fire to himself and scream 'SET FIRE TO THE RAIN' and run around. Annabeth was forced to burn a book series. Piper had to wear a dress till the end of the day. Frank had hang upside down for 3 rounds. Hazel had to act like a white Aphrodite girl.

"Percy, truth or dare?" Jason asked with an evil smirk. Oh boy.

"Dare?" I questioned myself. The look Jason had was an evil kind of joking, although he usually isn't that mean when it comes to this game. I worried for my life right now.

"I dare you to insult lady Hecate," he covered a laugh. Everyone laughed. "And you have to yell it." He finished. I gulped. I have a feeling this isn't going to end well.

"Fine." I grumbled. "Lady Hecate is an Idiot!" I shouted, and than a bright flash filled the room. I covered my eyes along with everyone else.

"How dare you!" A women screeched. It was then I realized it was Hecate. I gulped and said nothing, sending a small glare to Jason, who mouth 'sorry.' Everything turned black right after that.

I felt bad. Hecate had flashed away, leaving an unconscious Percy on the floor. We lifted him onto his bed and left. I couldn't help but think this was my fault. Cause obviously it was. It has been an hour since we left and we haven't seen Percy. I went to his cabin, the remaining of the 7 stayed behind. I knocked on the door, not receiving an answer, but I heard small whimpers. I opened the door slowly, only to notice Percy wasn't there. I looked around and saw a small boy cowering in the corner. It looked like he noticed me and he backed away farther.

"Hey, hey, it's ok. Why are you in the corner?" I asked him. He looked up, and I saw his sea green eyes, a lot like Percy's, but these don't have a spark of happiness, all I can see is sadness in his eyes. His hair is almost black and he is wearing the camp shirt, that covered his entire body.

"He will be here soon! Hide!" He cowered before hiding in the shadows. I was confused. Who is this kid? How does he look so much like Percy but so different. And who is 'he'?

"No one will hurt you here, alright? What's your name?" I asked, slowly approaching.

"Perseus Jackson. But call me Percy, don't call me Perseus. Who are you?" He asked, slowly uncurling his body from the corner.

"My name is Jason Grace, but only Jason." I said. I was shocked, this scared, helpless kid is Percy? That's what Hecate must have done! She must've made him younger. "How old are you Percy?" I asked.

"5, how old are you?" He asked. He seemed pretty intelligent for a 5 year old.

"I'm 17. Now, who did you think was coming?" I asked.

"A guy named Gabe, my stepfather. He is an old sot." Percy said with a small nod, as if pleased with himself.

"There is no Gabe here, I promise you that, how about we go outside? I'll show you around." I offered. Percy nodded and jumped into my arms, forcing me to carry him. He was so light, lighter than a normal kid this weight. I walked back to the beach, where I knew Percy would like it. He had his arms tightly around my neck, his head ever slightly hurried into the crook of my neck. I carried him comfortably, only starting to approach the rest of the seven.

"Who is that?" Leo asked cluelessly. They were all confused. I sighed. It took me a moment to realize Percy fell asleep, and I only knew because of his soft snores and even breathing. I looked at him softly and a small smile.

"It's Percy. It's what Hecate did to punish him." I said, slightly shifting my weight to make myself and him more comfy. They were shocked.

"Really? Why would she do that? Maybe she had a potion she was working on and needed a person to use it on, so she used Percy as a test subject." Annabeth mumbled to herself.

"Who knew Jason was so good with kids." Piper teased.

"He was terrified when I walked in, he was hiding in a corner cowering. He said something about a man coming, and he also called the man Gabe. Said he was an old sot. I have no clue what that means." I shrugged my one shoulder opposite of Percy.

"It means drunken. An old habitual drunken is what Percy called this Gabe guy." Hazel chuckled slightly. This caused everyone to laugh. Percy stirred a bit and I held a finger to my lips, telling everyone to be quiet. I looked at Percy, I saw a light flash but I didn't care. Percy opened his eyes tiredly.

"Jason?" He asked while looking at me. He seemed relaxed, as if he hasn't been in a long time. Earlier he was tense until he ran into my arms. I just realized how relaxed he was now.

"Yeah, it's me bud. How was your nap?" I asked with a small smile. Percy grinned in return.

"It was good!" He cheered before he noticed the others. His face fell and he hid behind me. Annabeth looked hurt and I couldn't help but look at her with sympathy.

"Percy, these are my friends. You can trust them." I said softly. Why am I so gentle? I've never been like this around little kids. I have a soft spot for Percy.

"There something bad about that lady. I don't trust her. Bad vibe." He said shaking his head pointing and Annabeth.
