Snow came down in thick sheets as the wind howled violently. In the midst of the blizzards roar, a portal opened and through the portal stepped a dark entity.

Through the bitter cold and flurry of ice the entity moved forward with no real hesitation or drawbacks. He finally stopped, large tree, tall and fair, stood in his path.

He scanned over the terrain til his eyes fell on a frozen pink. He quickly stepped forward and picked up the fabric almost numbly. Eyes loosing hope to find the fabric empty.

His mind raced. Could someone have found them? Were they still with him? Could they still be alive? Could they be...

He stood up, holding the blanket close to his chest. A few tears pricking his eyes.

It was empty, but that meant nothing.

In a storm like this.

Dust can easily blow away.

Errors eyes fluttered open, waking up from a well deserved rest.

He immediately tensed, though, seeing a unfamiliar gray ceiling instead of the blinding white of the anti-void. He hesitantly looked around to see were exactly he was. A coffee table was the first thing he saw, along with a cracked tv of the far wall. Error was currently laying on a gray couch, covered in old mustered stains and large claw marks. A thick homemade blanket was laid on top of him. After a moment of taking this in, his memory's of the day before began to flood back. Suddenly something clicked.

The child.

He sat up, or at least tried, but had to stop midway. Something was moving. It was right on his chest, soft shifting movements. Error gently laid back down, knowing exactly what it was. Slowly he moved the blanket off of him to find the child sleeping soundly on his chest.

Error looked him over, noticing the dip had really help him. The child wasn't as pale as the day before. Soft lime like colors highlighted his features and dusted his cheeks, indicating his magic was flowing smoothly. The frost bite on his fingers was almost gone, leaving only a bit of a purplish color. His back was still fairly black, Error wasn't sure if that part would ever go away, but it didn't seem to effect his movements.

The child let out a gentle whine of protest and wiggled to get his nude body back to the comforting warmth. Error needed to make him some clothes. Error carefully watched as the little one moved his head from side to side. The destroyers eyes widened as the child's sockets began to open slightly. The little one seemed to realize it could see now, being that the ice was gone, and opened them up completely.

Error inhaled sharply at the sight. Two starry eyes were now staring up at him. They were the same color as his blushy cheeks: lime that faded into a lemony shine.

Errors couldn't help but smile at the small infant gazing up at him. He gently moved the covers over the little one, leaving only his head to show. The child hummed, sockets drooping halfway down as he began to fall back asleep. Error watched him in a peaceful silence. The only sound that could be heard was the storm raging out side.

Then something interrupted the silence. A growling almost. A stomach growling to be exact. The little one was hungry.

The child whimpered quietly but didn't begin to fuss or cry, which broke Errors heart. He knew that it most likely meant the infant was expecting to not be fed.

Gently, Error sat up again to cradle the little one in his arms. He stood up but not before grabbing a smaller blanket and wrapped it around the child. Taking gliding steps towards the kitchen he noticed the light was on.

He moved closer til he walked through the door way, shivering as he stepped from carpet to tile. He stopped to see Fell sitting at the table, sipping what looked like coffee. His red eyes shifted up and locked on Errors. Error watched as he straightened his posture before speaking.

'So, you're finally up. You seem like you got a good nights sleep.'

Error nodded meekly. Pulling his eyes away to look down at the swaddled child in his arms.

'Fell, do you know any place that sells formula? Baby food maybe?'

Fell shook his head slightly.

'No. And even if there was, I wouldn't trust it. This is underfell after all.'

Error growled in worry.

'Well what's the little one going to eat?'

'I don't know! Cant you open a portal yet to a babytale or something for some?'

Error shook his head.

'No. I can probably teleport, but it will take a day or two for me to gain enough energy to use portals again.'

Fell looked at him in disbelief.

'Are you serious? What the hell happened that drained you so bad?'

'Ink. Ink is what happened. We fought all week and- Hey we're getting off topic! What the hell are we gonna feed the little one?'

Fell shrugged sadly at a loss of what to do. Error sighed and gently rocked the new born in his arms.

'Where's your bro. He might know some place that sells some non-tainted baby stuff. I mean he does look after one twentyfour-seven."

Fell growled at him, a small blush dusting his cheeks.

'Even if he did he's stuck at Undyn's while the blizzards going on here. And the forecast says it's gonna last all week.'

'Well that's just fucking dandy.'

Error mumbled darkly before turning away and walking back to the couch. Error sat down, holding the baby close to his chest. He sighed deeply, thinking of what he should do. He didn't know much about young children, especially infants, but he knew they had to drink and eat certain things. So he couldn't give the kid straight milk from the jug... right?

He was pulled out of his thoughts when the child's stomach growled again. The little one looked up at him with hungry eyes.

'Hey now, don't look at me like that. I'm trying to think of something, give me a moment.'

The little one smiled slightly at the softness in his voice. Error smiled back, pressing himself into the back of the couch. The child nuzzled into him, but never broke his pleading gaze. Error felt his head spin as he tried to think of what he could do.

His body suddenly tensed as pain shot through him. He gasped as his chest burned. His soul tumbled over its beats. Speeding up and slowing down. It repeated the process over and over again til it slowed to a steady pace. Error was slightly confused until he realized his soul was now beating in harmony with the little one in his arms. His soul was taking matters into its own hands. It knew exactly what to do.

Sometimes it happens. A monsters soul doing something strange, as if it had its own mind. Sometimes it's good, like calling for help when the monster is to afraid to. Sometimes is bad, like summoning a attack even if they're it in any danger. This time it was a good one. And at the same time it was also bad.

Error tensed feeling his magic build up. And just like that, Errors shirt tightened.
