Five, happy as never, swiftly ran through the Lady's Headquarters, looking for her mum. She climbed up the stairs and headed to the bedroom. Girl's tail started wagging as she found the six-tailed kitsune herself lying on her bed, reading some book.

Five's nose twitched as she smiled wide enough to make her little sharp teeth visible and walked to the, as she thought, nothing suspecting vixen.

The Lady's ears twitched up when her daughter was sneaking up to her, but didn't even bother to pay attention.

   – Mum! – Five shouted when she walked up close enough.

   – Not now, Five – the Lady said without taking her eyes off the book.

   – But-

   – Five, can't you see I'm busy? Go study some magic.

   – I did already :(

The lady let out a sigh.

   – Then go play with those friends of yours. Just be careful because those ferals from the surface might have fleas.

   – Please, I really need to tell you that – Five made cute eyes thinking it'd work.

   – No.

   – Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaseeeee – raincoated fox pressed. – I promise it'll be fun.

Growl escaped lady's lips.

   – Fine! – She shouted and slammed the book. – But if it won't be fun, I'm smacking you with this book.

   – Ok, deal. – Five clamped her paws under her chin.

   – So? – She sat up on bed.

Five giggled before asking.

   – You know why 'dark' is spelled with 'k' and not 'c'?

   – No, why?

   – Because... You can't SEE in the dark! – she said while pointing wirh her fingers at her eyes.

The Lady narrowed her eyes, but didn't say anything.

   – Get it? :'D

She stood up and crouched down next to Five, then bonked her head with the book.

Why so random update? Idk, I just have heard similar joke on TT then this came into my mind. xD

It's almost 1am for me and I have to wake up at 6am, but I just had to write it xD. Better gotta go to sleep-
