Usagi at times still can't believe what happen a year now. A full year and few months now.

Heck, she even turn sixteen like a month ago.

A great party by the way.

It was just crazy. Well, like down below finding out your Mada a former destroyer. But when you found out about your former self. Well, it almost close to that rank. Everything else well she can go on for hours with everything that occurred.

It was hectic, dangerous, open heart betrayals, anger and then there heartwarming moments. Friendships form in surprising way. Got another sister who very happy. Learn a few things about her past and still learning. Sure all them, including herself, have ups and downs. Some teenage drama here and there. Crushes.

Heart break.

Which is where Usagi is now comforting a crying Natsumi.

She actually forgot how many times she had to comfort someone like this. Or when someone has to comfort her.

What she had her heart crush before. Not counting Damien situation. Seven year old her just happy and innocent. Okay she still but you get the drift. Wanted to be boyfriend and girlfriend with that adorable blonde boy. Till he said 'EW' and called her a ugly pigtail girl. Lot of ugly water works there. Now she think about it Molly mom had to literally hold back Mada to not give that kid nightmares. Then was Andrew but he became like that older brother. On and off crushes here and there.

Now to comfort her somewhat new friend after being rejected. Again. By Darien.

Apparently this time it was really bad.

Usagi was dropping off a few packages for Mada. On the way back as she passed time. She saw Natsumi at the park. Ready to go say a quick hi but stop. She was crying? Well, was trying to hide it at least. Natsumi of lately seem to be keeping her distance away from Usagi, her friends and few classmates. A bit snotty and even snappier sometimes. It actually got on Usagi nerves but wouldn't approach. Even if there were times or being held back by her friends.

But now seeing this.

Damn her sweet heart.

Went over to approach her.

"Natsu-"

"Go away!" Natsumi yelled angrily with a pair of puffy, hazel teary eyes. Yeah, it wasn't an attractive sight.

But Usagi didn't care at the moment.

"What happen to you?"

"Why do you care?"

"Were friends aren't we?"

"You say we are but I never did!"

Ouch.

Usagi twitch and ready to make a snappy comment. Would have walk away and be very irritated with her attitude. But stop for a bit to notice a bag of chocolate by her side. Lots of hearts and a familiar name on the tug. Her anger slowly leaves and give her a sad look. "Darien?"

Natsumi was angry and trying to not lash out at her. Even if she did push it with comment. She been keeping her distance away from everyone unless for energy. Everyone was just confusing and irritating to her. Same with her brother. All this planning and they keep failing by those Sailor Scouts. Stealing and taking energy for survival was easier than this! Didn't have these distractions. Even if certain distractions were nice.

Nice and now heartbreaking.

The alien girl knows she's pretty. Even in her human form she is as well. Got a lot of love letters and treats to prove. She talented. She smart when she wants to be! She can work hard when she wants something!

So, why won't Darien give her a chance!

She even made these chocolates, after lot of failed attempts, to give it to him. Ask him to give her a chance. They got along so well during play practice and after. So, when she stop by his apartment to give him the gift, a hug and possibly a kiss. He just snapped at her. Called her a creepy high school girl stalker, annoying like the other girls at his school, and to just leave him alone.

It crack something inside her she hasn't felt before. Made her sad, angry, wanted to go crawl and hide away.

So, hear she was just wanting to be left alone in her own misery and sadness.

Well, now crying her eyes out and told Usagi, almost, everything what happen. Just hugging the klutzy blonde hair girl. Just being hugged back.

"Hey, hey come on take a few breathes. Um now let it out slowly." Usagi helped her out and pat her back once she slowly calms down. Hands her a tissue out of her bag. "Here you go."

"T-Thank you." Wipe her face eyes. She slowly began to feel ridiculous of this behavior.

"It's no problem. You want to keep crying."

"Not really."

"Okay."

Small silence.

"Why you being nice to me?"

"I actually wanted to say some sassy shit with your behavior of lately."

"Why didn't you?"

"Look like you been through some junk. Which well, you did." Usagi rubs the back of her head.

Natsumi stared at her for a while and look down at the ground. "Usagi am I ugly?"

"Nope. I think you're pretty."

"So, why didn't he give me a chance?" Look like a kick sad puppy.

Usagi bit her tongue with the many insults about Darien. "Look I don't know Darien all that well personally. Even if it looks the times you saw us. Unlike Andrew. But the only times I would meet him. He would be bullying me or insulting me. I dislike the guy guts a lot. A lot of girls do like Darien. Andrew mention he only seen Darien really date once or twice-"

"Didn't he date your friend Rei?"

"Which she broke it off for her own reasons. That I'm not getting into unless you want to asked her. Look Darien just doesn't want to date anyone. He been around lots of beautiful girls. So, it has barely to do with looks department. Probably gets annoyed with it. He has his own issues, needs a fashion talk down. He wanting to finished school to go to college to be a Doctor. Plus, well look I hate to say it. You were being like one of his fan girls." The times she them at the arcade it made her, almost, slightly pity him. Until he interacted with him.

"I'm not that bad." Natsumi mumbled.

"Natsumi you drop shopping time with Molly and I when you saw him across the street. Almost cause three car accident."

Natsumi head down lower and poke the ground. A small flush of embarrassment. Even slight shame.

"You just probably got him at a bad time. Should he have said it well better? Maybe." She nudge her slightly. "I do want you get over him since he not worth it. But do it at your own pace when. You can do better than him."

"I want to hurt him like he hurt me. I hate this feeling."

Usagi poke her cheek. "Okay I don't mind murder unless it last minute or necessary. But you don't need to go to jail for that jerk."

"Not if we hide the body together."

"Please don't tempt me." Usagi grinned as she watches her giggle slightly.

"I do see it now."

"See what?"

"Why my brother has a crush on you."

"What?!"

"You really are dense."

"I thought that whole music thing from the heart was a joke!"

"So, seeing your sister being protective not raise red flags."

"Were all protective with each other when it's boys or a lovey dovey when we find someone cute."

"I notice." Natsumi glance up at the sky. The stings of rejection still hurting her. Along with wanting to hurt Darien for not returning these feelings. But she felt slight content as she talks to Usagi.

She really is an odd human.

Suddenly she began to feel weak. Almost fell to her side till Usagi caught her.

"Are you sick again?"

"No, exhausted." She should have gotten some energy on the way here. Or went after someone.

"Come on let's get you home. Get on my back."

"Are you for real?"

"You calling me weak."

"Let's say mayWhoa!" Natsumi blinked being carried piggy back style by Usagi.

"Ha! See easy!"

"My brother going to be so jealous if he sees this."

"Me carrying you or him wanting to carry me?"

"That's a good question."

You think Usagi handle it well with Natsumi? Trying to make it seem relatable how teenagers would do it. Even if they aren't your typical ones. But still like all of us when it involves crushes.

Look don't care much for Darien but would get slightly annoyed too.
