"Are you sure you don't want me to walk you home?", your boyfriend of four weeks asked. School had just ended and your boyfriend insisted to walk you home, but you refused, because your sister Jesy didn't know that you were now with a boy and you knew she'd freak out once you'd tell her, so there was no way you'd let your boyfriend walk home with you since she was probably home.

"Yeah.. my sister's probably home", you said causing him to nod. You had told him about your overprotective sister and how she never really wanted you to have a relationship. He had understood, which was one of the things you admired about him, he never judged you and always understood you.

"Alright then. I'll see you tomorrow. Be careful on your way home", he grinned and you smiled at him.

"Sure, but the same goes to you", you said, ready to turn around and walk off when your boyfriend pulled on your hand making you go closer to him and placed a gentle kiss on your lips.

"Bye, baby", he smiled, which you returned.

"Bye!", you said cheerfully and began to walk home when you saw Jake, Jesy's fiancé leaning on his car and watching you with a grin. Immediately you started blushing, knowing that he had seen what had just happened with your boyfriend.
As you approached him, you raised an eyebrow at him, trying to look confident about the little scene earlier.

"Does Jesy know about your boyfriend?", he asked straight away.

You gave him a look, which made him understand that your sister in fact didn't know about your relationship.

"Well, when are you going to tell her?", he asked curiously, "Or more like how are you going to tell her", he laughed making you sigh.

"I have no idea to be honest", you said.

"Hm.. how long has this been going on?", he asked.

"For about four weeks", you replied.

"Does he treat you good?", he asked again.

"He does. He treats me just right, he's amazing", you told him blushing slightly making him chuckle.

"Alright, I see... maybe I can help you, I mean about telling Jesy", he said making your eyes light up.

"You would do that?", you asked hopefully and he laughed at your excitement.

"I would", he nodded and you couldn't help but hugged him.

"Thank you, Jake!", you cheered.

"No problem", he said amused hugging you back.

"Hey, wait. Why are you here actually?", you asked confused as you pulled away.

"Oh, Jesy wanted to do some sort of activity with us and told me to pick you up on my way to you girls' place", he explained, "So now get in!", he said opening the car door for himself.

"Okay, okay", you uttered going to the other side of the car and getting in.

"Hi there!", Jesy greeted cheerfully, entering the car.

"Hiii."

"Hey, Jess. Where are we headed to?", Jake asked turning around in his seat to look at his fiancé.

"To the cinema! I want to see that new action film we talked about", she smiled, earning a smile back and a nod from Jake.

"Did you like the film?", Jesy asked Jake and you once the film was over.

"Yeah, it was pretty good", Jake nodded.

"I agree, it was cool", you added.

"I think so too. I hope there will be a second one", Jesy smiled.

"I gotta go to the toilet", you said after you guys stood up and exited the room.

"Alright, we'll wait over there", Jesy said pointing towards the ticket counter.

"Take your time", Jake whispered to you without making Jesy notice. You were confused, but nodded anyway. Walking towards the ladies room, you suddenly understood what he was talking about. He was going to tell Jesy about your boyfriend!

You ended up spending 20 minutes at the toilets. You texted your boyfriend so that you wouldn't die of how bored you were. You were very nervous as well. Convincing your sister was pretty hard, but hopefully Jake had the power to make her go soft.

You slowly made your way outside and walked towards the engaged couple.

"Do you have a boyfriend?", Jesy asked right away, catching you off guard.

"Umm, yes. I do", you replied, trying to sound confident.

"Since when?"

"Since about four weeks ago."

"Do you two get on well? Does he treat you right?"

"Yeah, we get on perfectly great. And he treats me really good."

"Alright, bring him over tomorrow and we'll see who he even is."

"Okay!", you beamed, but it was meant to sound calmer.

The next day, when your boyfriend came over, Jake helped a lot. He constantly pointed out his kind and sweet gestures and how nice he was to him and Jesy, but most importantly to you.

Eventually when your boyfriend left, Jesy admitted that he seemed to be a good person and allowed you two to be together.

Later on you thanked Jake so many times that you don't remember thanking someone so much before.
