The woman led me down the right hall, carrying a clipboard with my mother's picture on it. This picture does not show her with a missing eye however. The woman suddenly walks next to me and twiddles with a pen in her hand.

"So, why do you need to see this art in particular Erwin?"

"I was given orders to look at this specific art."

"Was it the boss of our company or the man who sells art?"

She sure has a lot of questions to ask. It's like she's trying to pry every answer out of me. If I get caught, not only will I get sent back to the market and get in serious trouble with Sans, I'll never get my mom out of this

"Say, I never did get your name. Mind telling me?"

She blushes and fixes her hair. "Oh! Um, I'm Janette. I work as a receptionist for this company."

"I see...."

The other woman who passed by began to whisper. Janette seemed to avert her gaze from them as we walked past. Not to brag, but I might be too good-looking. Even as a guard for this company. We passed by a guard who glared lasers right at me. All I did was smile before returning to my walk with Janette. I can see why these guards are glaring.

Janette wasn't a bad looking girl. In fact, she was very beautiful. She suddenly stops as a woman walked over. She wore a stunning, formal, black work uniform. Her blonde hair reached all the way to the middle of her back and she was adorned with so many jewelry that it's almost blinding. I took a glance at Janette who balled her fist. They might have a history together.

The blonde woman smiles at me with her dark red lipstick. "Are you new here?"

Blinking, I brought myself back to the situation and forced a smile.

"Yes. Erwin Gates at your service."

"Erwin... it's a good name. I'm Lauren~"

I had to try my best not to twitch my eyes. She's one of THOSE girls. Lauren turns her gaze to Janette with an emotionless expression.

"You may leave Janette. I can take care of....Erwin."

She puts her full attention to me with a lustful gaze. I don't want to be left alone with this woman. I quickly took Janette by the shoulders and moved passed this "Lauren".

"That's quite alright. I have a very remarkable lady to lead me to my destination. Perhaps next time."

Janette was just as surprised at Lauren as I quickly walked down the hall grabbing her hand. Once we reached to a safe distance away from Lauren I stop and turn to face her.

"You alright?"

She blushes looking down at my hand holding her own. I almost forgot I was a guy. I released her hand and she quickly brings it back to herself, clutching it with her other hand.

"I'm sorry if I offended you in some way. Um..."

"Thank you......"

"I'm sorry?"

She looked at me with a slight blush across her face. She smiles.

"Thank you. No one has ever stood up for me like that. Especially against Miss Lauren."

Lauren.... She looked like an important person.... Oh no. I'm a guard and if I happened to treat her in a way that would get me in trouble.... Oh I screwed up. I better get moving.

"Uh, no problem! But do you think you can take me to the room?"

She blinks and quickly straightens out her uniform.

"Oh! I almost forgot. Sorry for wasting your time!"

"Uh, no need. I have plenty of time."

She swiftly walks past me and proceeds to lead me down. She suddenly turns a sharp left turn down a hallway. Only it wasn't a hallway. It leads to a single metal door. She turns to me swiftly.

"This is as far as I can go. Just use your ID to open the door and you'll reach your destination."

"Thanks Janette."

She nods and smiles before leaving. I waited until she completely disappeared from the corner and turned my attention towards the door. I sucked in a breath. Infiltration complete. Now I just need to find her. I take out the fake ID and scanned it by swiping it down the slot. The red button turns green with a beep and the door clicks open.

Instead of another hallway, there were stairs leading to the bottom.

[Extreme action motivational epic music Ice vs. Fire 1 hr by Gloriae Templum]

Just looking down there gave me the chills. I don't know what's down there. I just hope I was prepared for whatever obstacles I have to face. I suck in a sharp breath and made my way down the stairs. I'm almost there. Just wait for me mom.

*****     *****

Clutching my head, I slowly lifted myself up from bed, being careful not sway myself. My door is flung open and both Papyrus and Marie were there.

"Sans! Two is gone! She must have headed to the facility!"

Eyes glowing the brightest yellow, I threw the sheets off and grabbed my coat and hat. I remember her giving me a pill. It wasn't a dream.

"There's no time. Move it!"

Marie stops me.

"Master, you know how dangerous it is."

I only glare at her. I won't let anyone stop me. Two won't know if she landed in a trap. I have to retrieve her.

"If you think you can stop me-"

"I am not here to stop you master...."

She kneels on one knee. This action was not surprising. Not only was she head maid, but she knows how to fight. No one should underestimate her looks. Papyrus could only watch and hustled quickly outside.

"Hurry Sans! Before we reach her too late!"

I looked down at Marie and commanded her to stand. She gets up from her position and looked at me with strong eyes.

"Fine. Don't let any of the others know about this. We enter and leave as quietly as possible."

She nods and we quickly rush outside. Papyrus already had the fastest car running.

"Hurry!"

We all jumped inside quickly as my brother steps on the gas pedal. We rush down towards the Gates to the facility. She's a troublesome art. The most troublesome I have to deal with.

*****     *****

I looked down the dark hallway in both directions as I reached the bottom. There were guards stationed at each door. I knew that behind those doors, were frightened children and mothers. I was enraged, but now was not the time. My top opportunity is finding my mother and freeing everyone from here. I didn't care what happens to me as long as my mother was safe.

I walked towards the room where we were kept in. I forgot how small that room was. It was so small. But this door had no guard next to it. I rushed over and slid the rectangular, metal window open. No sign of my mother. I rushed towards a nearby guard.

"Do you happen to know where the art here is?"

"Yeah, but who are you?"

I showed him my identity tag.

"I'm the new recruit, Erwin Gates. I'm here to inspect this art."

"Hm, I don't know if this was a given order, but this art was taken to the head of this jailed facility."

He points to the red door up ahead. I quickly rushed over there and yanked the door open to see another metal door. This door frightened me the most. There was blood spattered across it with hand marks with the words Keep Out written in blood. My breathing was irregular and my heart was beating so fast. I can feel tears stinging at my eyes. Please be okay. Please please please-

I pulled open both the double doors and my eyes widen. My arms slacked to my side and I felt my heart flat line for a second. The entire room was covered in blood. Not only that, but the scientist that replaced my eyes with my mother was cutting open a human corpse. It's neck hung on a hook with blood dripping down. It's face was stuck in a screaming, horrified posture with it's hands at its side. The fingers were curled so tightly that blood seemed to drip from it there. The room was lit dimly, but I could make out one thing.

This corpse had only one eye bulging out. This eye was sapphire like my other eye. It's hair was fair and white but drenched in so much blood. My entire body shook. I could only squeak out one word.

"No......"

The scientist drops the cutting machinery he was using and sets it down on the table angrily.

"What do you zink you are doing here?! You are zupposed to be guarding outzide!"

Ever so quietly, I asked him one thing.

"Sir.... exactly who might this be?"

He looked at the corpse once showing no emotion.

"Why would you want to know? Zis art was zee albino one with sapphire eyes."

My heart skips a beat.

"Now that you know, get out of my sight-"

"No."

He turns ever so slowly towards me.

"What did you say?"

I glare at him and shifted my form. His eyes widen, but seems to hold amusement there. Though my tears fell silently, I could feel them burning.

"Your zat art I sold. Interesting. So, what will you do? Shift into a monster?"

I don't know what possessed me, but I scream and the entire room shook. His tools rattled and the corpse, which hung on the hook, fell to the floor with a sickening plop. My body feels different. I felt powerful and refreshed. The doctor's eyes widen.

"It can't be. It's impossible!"

"What's impossible doctor?"

I took a step towards him and he backs into a corner. He grabs his sawing tool off the table and holds it towards me to protect himself. At first he laughs weakly, then it turned into something insane.

"You've not only gained the powers I have given you, but you've also gained some of mine."

My body began to form a plasma like shell outside around my body. He drives the sawing tool to my side, but it snaps in half. The metal shattering into millions of pieces. Angered, I grab his neck and slammed him into a corner. He chokes and I was a bit surprised at how light it felt to just drive him into a corner. His head was knocked back and he spits out blood.

I hit his head pretty hard, because there was blood dripping down the side of his face. He still continues to laugh.

"Any last words doctor?"

Using my other hand, I pull it back as the white plasma covered my arm and hand into a white dagger.

He spits out his blood in my face.

"What are you waiting for? Do you feel pity for me?"

I only gripped onto his neck harder causing his to spout more blood from his pathetic self. I kneeled down to his level and talked in a serious and deep tone. each word dripped with venom.

"Do you think I would pity someone who killed my mother?"

I drove the dagger straight through his heart and his body shudders in a quick still motion. His blood created splatters across the suit I wore and across my face. I made sure to twist the dagger, so he could feel the pain. The pain he caused my mother to suffer through. What did she ever do to deserve this?

With one last effort, he laughs and his body slumps to the floor. He gasps and smiles.

"I thought you were born with no power.... but now I see I was wrong. You've gained the ability to manipulate.... your aura."

He gasps with one last breath of air.

"You really are my daughter....."

The aura around me completely disappears as I processed his words. Daughter? HE was the man who manipulated my mother? My hands slacken to my sides. I was going mad.

The door flings open and I could already tell who it was, but I didn't care. I looked at two bloodied corpse. My mother's head had fallen off to the side.

*****     *****

We managed to find a way through the facility without getting caught by any officials. Taking the guards down wasn't as hard. My eyes glow a fierce yellow, darting across the walls to find her trace. We reached a door to hear a man scream bloody murder. We kicked the door open only to see Two drenched in blood. Marie covers her mouth and looks between the corpse and Two. She stood there motionless with her facing the dead scientist.

"Two!"

She didn't turn to look. I rushed over to her and took her face in my hands. Her eyes were lifeless. She was almost broken. I looked over to Papyrus and Marie.

"Clean up this place as best as you can and cover every trace of evidence. I don't want a single clue left behind."

They only nodded as I hauled Two upstairs to another door leading to the very top of this facility. The full moon was out today and it was chilly enough to hopefully bring her back. I faced her towards the edge of the facility and put her back to my chest.

My left hand reached out to hold her hands and the other to cover her eyes. Her tears steadily drops. I whispered in her ears:

"Two, I don't know what happened, but you need to let go. You need to come back."

[Music for sleeping by Lucas King]

I was lost in my own world of darkness. Terrified of the truth. I lost my mother and found out my dad was a mad, sick scientist. Why is my life like this? I never asked to be born this way. I lost everything. Everything..... I crouched in a fetal position floating in the dark away from the world. I just want to disappear from this world. I don't want to go back.

I want to see my mother. That smiling face, her gentle touch, the smile I could never forget.... I miss her so much. I was too late. I'll never be able to see her again. I was already covering my face, crying so...so hard. No one knows what it's like to see your only protective guardian slaughtered in front of you.

I want her back. I couldn't stop crying. My tears were floating around me. Each one of them representing every event I went through. I cried and cried. I at least want to embrace her one more time. I cried harder just thinking about her. I will never embrace her, she'll never pat me on the head to praise me, she'll never soothe me with her gentle lullabies, and.... and I'll never hear her voice telling me "I love you" all the time. I can almost still hear her.

"Mommy loves you so much. You've made me so proud."

All of it seemed to shatter right before me. Everything was breaking apart. My world is shattering.

Just as it was on its breaking point, a far off voice calls to me.

"Come back."

I recognize the voice, but cant quite remember.

"I know what you've been through is the most hardest thing you'll ever go through. I can't ask you to ever forget those scars, but know this. You still have a family waiting for you. We need you Two. Your family is here waiting for you."

My family? I unraveled myself from my fetal position and looked around me. I couldn't find the source of the voice. A small light suddenly shines next to me. I wiped my tears away the best that I could. The light twinkles and I tap on it. The light pulses and a faint memory shows me eating dinner with everyone. Another light shows Sans bandaging my hand.

Then another with Papyrus hugging and laughing. The voice was right. I still have a family back there. I couldn't just leave them there. A bright white light shines in the distance. Slowly, I floated towards it reaching out until it was blinding.

I found myself in darkness again, but someone was covering my eyes. The hands come off and I can see the moon from up here in its brightness. I was slowly turned to face Sans. His hand touching my cheek. It was warm.

*****     *****

I finally moved my hands away from her eyes and hear her suck in a breath looking at the moon. I turn her towards me. The light in her eyes came back. I held a hand to her cheek and smile.

"You're back."

"Sans...?"

I pull her towards me and embraced her.

"I thought I almost lost you...."

It took her some time, but she also wrapped her arms around me. Her tears stained my shirt from her crying and I held her tightly as if I was going to lose her if I let go. Papyrus and Marie also reached the top, breathing heavily.

Marie was was first to rush over and took Two's face in her hands.

"Are you alright?!"

She began to inspect her face and hands looking for any injuries. Two only blinked and Papyrus laughs.

"Nyeheheh! We've found you!"

We all embraced her in a group hug never letting her go.

*****     *****

I was suddenly surrounded by them all in a group hug. I blink a few times and smiled. They were my family. I can feel myself almost crying. I wasn't alone. I hugged them all. Even though my mother is gone, I still have a family to care for. I looked up at the sky.

Hey mom, I found a family. I wish you could have met them. They're such kind people... The moon's light almost seemed to blink. I smile and took it as a sign that my mother approved. She'll be waiting for me up there. When the time comes, I want to tell her everything.

The facility started to get rowdy as the mothers and children escaped out of the hole I must have made when I got out of control. We headed straight down the ladder where the car was parked and hightailed it out of there. Marie and Papyrus sat in the front while Sans sat next to me.

Looking at the rear view mirror, I can see the facility burning. Must be the escaped arts. I hope I never have to see that facility ever again. I leaned towards the window to see the moon disappear behind the clouds. I sigh and leaned against Sans. he stiffens a bit but wraps an arm around me.

This time, it wasn't uncomfortable. It made me feel safe. I sigh and close my eyes, burying my face in his shoulder. This event will definitely leave a permanent scar, but life still goes on. I know that. I was tired after using my powers and slept on the way back.

It was quiet on the way back, but I woke up to see the mansion a little up ahead.

I'm home.
