Adonis' POV

The ball in Legacy's hands emploded and all i saw was a bright light and pain shot through my body. This is what she did to stop the war. She was going to kill her friends, family and loved ones just to get rid of me?!

I was on the floor, my face and hands cut from the broken glass.

If shes not dead she will be soon.

Then i heard a moan of pain and i gently turned my head to see where it came from.

Then another moan, but not from the same person.

"Juliet." The voice said and then i heard shattered glass mvoe from underneith a body, someone was moving.

"Andy, it hurts." A girl whimpered.

"I know, i know, it'll be ok." The male's voice said.

"Legacy." Michael's voice said.

Nothing.

I smiled when she didnt reply. But i wasnt surprised.

"Is she ok?" Andy asked.

"I-I dont know." Michael replied and coughed. Probably because he was still trying to breathe properly.

"What about everyone else?" Juliet asked.

"I'm awake." A voice whispered.

"Me too." Came another one.

"Jake, Jeremy and Sammi. But Sammi's only got her eyes open, hold on," Michael said and moving glass was heard again. "Sammi, Sammi can you hear me?"

"Anything?" Jeremy asked.

"She nodded, but that was it." Michael replied.

"Has anyone got their cell on them? We need to get to the hospital." Andy called.

"I do, but what about Michael and Legacy? I dont care for Adonis." Juliet said.

"Wait. The ring." I saw Michael's head shoot up before he said it.

"What?" Andy asked.

"The ring. It bears the same amont of power the Legacy possesses, Legacy has healing power, therefore we can use the ring to make us better." Michael replied.

"But Adonis has it." Juliet stated.

"True. I'll check to see how he is." Michael said and the glass moved again. This time closer to me.

I quickly shut my eyes.

"How is he?" Jeremy asked.

"hes out cold. I'll get the ring." Michael said and i felt him grab my hand.

"Want something?" I asked and smiled evilly.

Then i jolted my hand away.

"Give me the ring Adonis." Michael glared.

"What makes you think i would do that?" I smiled.

"How are you feeling, that blast must have taken it out of you." Michael smiled back at me.

That made me shuffle uncomfortably. Then i almost screamed when a stabbing pain went through my right side. Michael smiled even more. I remembered the ring was on my right side too.

He grabbed my hand and i yelped in pain. I wasnt used to showing my pain, but it hurt. he took the ring off my finger and put it on his.

Michael's POV

I felt the pure power of the ring as soon as i put it on.

"Ok, Andy, your first." I said and walked over to him.

"no, Juliet goes first. Then Sammi, then Ella and Legacy. After that, any order." He replied.

"Ok, Legacy should go last, she's stronger than all of you." I said and walked over to Juliet and knelt by her. "This is going to hurt."

Juliet nodded wearily and braced herself as i rubbed on the ring. A bright light glowed from the jewel and the girl screamed in agony. I saw Andy wince and hold her hand tighter. I felt so sorry for their suffering. I'm an Angel of darkness, make bad things happen to people. But i had a kind heart.

Juliet took one last gasp of air and she was rendered unconcious.

"I-is she dead?" Andy asked as a tear fell down his cheek.

"No, mearly sleeping. Not to worry yourself Andy."  I replied.

"Andy?" Juliet whispered.

"Juliet!" He replied and hugged her tightly. I smiled at this. "Thanks Michael."

"Your welcome. Now for the others." I smiled again and they nodded. "Lets do you next in fact, since your here."

"Um. Ok." Andy hesitated.

"Probably best if you lie down for this." I said to him and he did as i said. He rested his head on Juliet's leg and she stroked his short hair.

I rubbed on the ring and Andy screamed in his pain. Then, he too, blacked out and came to about fifteen seconds later.

"Fuck that hurt." he whined.

"i warned you." I said with a stern look.

"Who's next, the ones who are out cold will feel it less." I noted.

"Ella then." Jeremy butted in and looked at Jake who nodded.

"Ok." I simply responded.

I moved across the room towards the unconcious body off Ella. I knelt beside her and rubbed my ring. He body jolted upwards in silent pain and then when it was over she opened her eyes.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Adonis tried to kill all of us and Legacy used the same spell she used to stop the war here and we all got the worst of it. Well, Michael didnt." Andy explained as he rubbed his foot.

"We need some help." I said and used my angelic mind to contact one of my close friends who had escaped the worst of the war. "I contacted the only other Angel of Darkness in existance, hes also the only other person who has a gift."

"You mean like Legacy's gift?" Jake asked. I nodded. "Wow. i thought she was the only one."

"No. One other." I replied.

We waited for the signal only and Angel would recognise. It didnt take long.

Darius' POV

I got a message from an old friend. Something i wasnt expecting. I listened to it and flew straight down, as fast as i could, to Earth.

"Whats up Michael? I got your distress call." I said when i got to the location.

"I need your gift. Legacy used her powers to stop Adonis, but it backfired again like it did in the war and her friends are dying." Michael pleaded.

"Where's Legacy?" I asked.

Michael pointed to a heap on the floor. A girl's body. her slim figure, black hair and black leather wings.

When we were children, Legacy, Michael and i used to play in the long, golden grass. We would spend hours passing time away as often as we could, but when the war started, i was forced to fight and our childhood was destroyed.

"No." I said as a tear welled up in my eye.

This was HIS fault. If Adonis hadent have come then none of this would have happened.

I put a hand over Legacy's forehead and closed my eyes, breathing deeply. My eyes turned the briliant blood red color that they went when i cast a spell and legacy started to shake.That wasnt supposed to happen. But something was drawing me in. I couldnt stop. I felt the girl's life leave her body. I finally plucked up the strength to pull away and i did so as quickly as i could.

But was it enough?

I saw movement in the corner of my eye.

"Adonis." I scowled and turned around.

"Darius. Its good to see you've done my work for me. That useless bitch is dead now i can live peacefully." He grinned evilly.

"You bastard! She was NOT useless and you know it. I didnt mean to kill her if i did." I paused and looked down and growled. "Your gunna pay for what you did to her."

I drew the gleaming, jewel encrusted sword of Mallhanner i had won in a fight ten years ago. I've kept it safe ever since.  It too possessed magical powers. It had the ability to control minds, drive men mad, and drive them to their deaths. And not just because it was a sword.

"What you gunna do? wave your glittery pointy stick and make everything better? Its not going to bring Legacy back even if you kill me." He bared his teeth and his mouth crawled into a smile.

I thrust the sword towards him and as soon as it touched, he burst into flames. I breathed a sigh of relief. Then Legacy clouded my mind.

I turned around and she was lying there as pale as sheet of snow on a winters morning.

"Legacy." I breathed.

"What happened?" A man with short spikey hair asked me.

"I tried to heal her. But instead i felt her soul being sucked from her body. But i said the spell right, i know i did." I replied.

"Try to heal one of the others, maybe she could heal herself whilst she sleeps." Michael suggested.

I nodded and watched as a girl pointed towards a man lying on the other side of the room.

"Whats his name?" I asked. I didnt recognise him so i needed to ask.

"Ashley." The spikey haired man replied.

"Ashley." I repeated.

I moved over to him and put my hand on his forehead like i had done with Legacy. I breathed in and cast the spell. All went fine, he shook in his sleep, the pain he was in was understandable. Soon after, he woke up.

"Who the fuck are you and why am i an so much pain?" He gasped and held his left side.

"My name's Darius, Legacy used her power to stop Adonis, but it backfired and blasted everyone in the house. Your also in pain because of what Adonis did to all of you. He nearly killed you." I explained.

"Shit. How did you make me better then?" He asked.

"I have a gift like Legacy's, i healed you." I smiled.

"Impressive." Ash shrugged and laughed.

"Thanks." I grinned.

"Guys what about the rest of the band?" Andy asked. I remember Andy. He was easy.

"Good point." I agreed and walked over to a girl who was lying with her eyes open. She was shaking, but apart from that, not moving.

"I think shes paralised." Michael said, looking down at her. I crouched down and stroked her hair gently. "Be calm Jeremy, he's only trying to help."

 I must admit, he tensed pretty quickly as soon as i reached for her.

"Would you like me to heal you first?" I asked him.

"Yes. I need to know how it feels." He replied.

I sighed and walked over to him.

He lyed down and i put my hand in his forehead and di what i had to do.

"Shiiiiiiit." Jeremy groaned and sat up.

"Sammi needs to be out of the pain Jeremy." I looked at him sternly.

"Please. Call me Jinxx. Fine, do it." He replied.

I nodded and did the same with Sammi.

The blood-curdling scream that came from the girl was incredable. But not in a good way.

"She needs rest. She got a lot of Legacy's power, and she suffered most cuz she was the first one Adonis struck down." Michael suggested.

Jinxx nodded and lifted her up. I brushed off the broken glass from the couch and Sammi was set down to sleep.

I inspected the cuts on my hands from when i brushed the glass off the couch.

"Are you ok Darius?" Juliet asked.

"Its only a few cuts, i'll be fine." I smiled.

"Let me see, i'll get the glass out." She said and walked over to me.

She grabbed my hand and pulled me by it into the kitchen.

"What are we doing in here?" I asked.

Then she grabbed a small knife out of a drawer.

"I neeed to get the glass out." She replied.

"With that?!" I gasped.

"CC doesnt have tweazers. So this will do." She shrugged.

I have to admit, i was panicing like an animal just before it was road kill.

She stuck the knife in one of the cuts and i winced, she rumaged around and plucked out a paiece of glass about the same size as an infant's little toe.  

After about 20 minutes, all the glass was out. The biggest bit was about the size of a guitar pick. Juliet wrapped my hand up gauze and we went bck into the living area.

We healed everyone else, but CC and Legacy were still to go.

"Who wants to do CC?" Jinxx asked.

"I'll do it." I raised my hand slightly.

I walked over to where CC was lying and did my thing. He woke up about a minute later with a jolt. i restrained him and told him to calm donw.

"Who whe hell are you and what are youdoing in my house?" He demanded. then he noticed my wings. They were black with a red tint, like Michael's they seemed to glow in the right lighting. "Oh."

"Michael called me to help." I replied.

"Where's legacy." He asked just as he looked around the room and saw a glimpse of her on the blood-stained, glass-covered floor. "Oh god."

He tryed to get to her but i held him back.

"CC calm down!" Andy said and helped me restrain him. I had to admit. For a human, CC was really strong!

"LEGACY!" He cried.

"I'll do all i can for her, dont worry CC." I explained.

He looked at me helplessly. I gave him a reassuring look and he sighed and nodded.
