'Just a flesh wound'
'Just.
Run.'
It was raining, dark, dirty and dangerous. Trees everywhere, like a rainforest. I don't remember how I got here, I'm just, here...
There's these people... They-They're after me... For what I am... They say I'm dangerous, a-a monster.
I'm running, barefoot, barely clothed with only a bandage and alone, besides the dogs barking and men with guns chasing me. My wings are tied to my torso, it's to keep me from flying away, from escaping this nightmare, I don't even know how to fly. I'm always in a birdcage. Metal. It scares me...
The shrubs feel my form, cutting deep into my flesh. It doesn't hurt... Why doesn't it hurt? Jumping over fallen logs, bullets whizzing past me as I dodge them. Some metal hit my wings, yet still I push on.
Shouts from them command me to stop, I didn't listen to them. There's a place somewhere far from here that is safe, I overheard them say it, but where?
Doesn't matter now, I need to find somewhere to hide, those violent men are after me. Shadow of mine are faster than me, it's like they're taunting me. The ropes on my wings snap and the sudden release scared me, a low tree branch went through my outstretched wing, causing me to scream in pain. The little branch broke under my weight, making me trip, falling into my side.
'The bad people are so far behind, maybe I can take out the branch then keep running?' I feel around for my pained wing, my left wing is heavier than my right. Felling the stick, I ripped is from my feathers, again screaming painfully. Sitting onto my legs, I tried to see the damage, but can't as it's too dark.
After I took the sharp wood, heard a light thumping of movement. I focus on the sound for a bit, 'it's like it's trying to hide... It's big, that I can tell, even over the sound of this heavy rain....'
"THERE IT IS!" A torchlight covers the back of my wet form. I turn and gasp as my (e/c) eyes are blinded by the light.
"QUICK, BEFORE SHE ESCAPES AGAIN!!" A man sours from the group. In an instant, I'm up and running again. My wings folded up close to my body as I sprint again. For my age, I was way too fast.
I'm finally feeling the effects of tiredness, but I stayed moving on. The place where I was kept was full of screams of pain and blood was everywhere. The forest was at it's worst tonight, it was far muddier that the last escape plan. I'm getting weaker, but I keep at it, avoiding bullets and ignoring the yells and barks from the group.
Something glows ahead. It's coming at me fast...
Oh no....
The lights and a faint rumbling of a engine is heard. The soldiers are here! Sliding to a stop in the mud as men behind me and in front block my paths. Some circle to close a way out on my right,
"GET ON THE GROUND!!" Weapons aimed and ready, laser pointers are pointed everywhere on my barely covered body. Only my chest and between my legs are covered with a cloth-like bandage. Lasers from behind is also pointed my way, as well as the light from the military vehicle. The brightness blinded me once again but only for a short period.
From the corner of my left eye, I catch a blue glow of robotic optics of some sort looking at me. The men don't even see the glow as their only after the dirty, wet, winged human standing before them.
"I SAID, ON THE GROUND!! NOW!!!" A warning shot, was shot into the air to scare me into submission. I look back to the blue glow, feeling something in them. Then it disappeared.
The radio went off and the one who answered it said to the two groups, "The boss said to shoot her." The triggers on the grey SMG's click, making me look at them in fear.
Before they could get a clean shot, I dashed to where the glow was. Barely getting out of the way of the bullet storm, I ran in the direction the thing's eyes went, the glow that saved me. Maybe. More shouts came from the group, more barking from the dogs. Thought the barks sounded scared, though I didn't care about those mutts.
I only cared about reaching safety. One of the men managed to get a clean shot of my leg and fired the pistol. I fell into the mud with a painful grunt, the pain was unbelievable. Trying to get up failed as I was just kicked into the ground. Just then I noticed that I was crying of both pain and the fear of what the punishment would be.
Something big got the attention of a the group that got to me, the main guy scanned the area. They ordered that I was tied up, to prevent another escape, the ropes were tightened around my wing and body. My wing bones felt like they were going to shatter under the pressure of the ropes.
"Well, well, well... Tried to escape again I see, didn't I teach you a lesson about running away and the fact!"- I grunted from the kick to my stomach -"that no one knows or cares about you."
On instinct, my body and wings tried to curl up which results in me getting worse pains in the stomach.
The man snickers at my pathetic form. "It's a shame really, you'd make a fine toy when your older, but with your troublesome behavior," He cooped his shoe under my body and flips me onto my back and wings. "You have to be put down~"
The commanding figure pulled out a combat looking knife and slowly cuts up the side of my scratched up, muddy left leg. A ghostly whimper left my lips from the familiar pain of the many experiments done to my body. The rain was still heavy, harshly landing on my exposed skin. The man took advantage of this situation and ran his free hand over my stomach to grope one of my breasts, squeezing it slightly over the bandages and making me shiver.
"But since we're alone, I could just take you right here, then kill you afterwards." His rough voice finished, shifting to now tower over my bounded body.
There was a snap of a large tree branch, then loud thumps through the muddy earth. I was scared of what would happen next. Looking away from the man that was now distracted, I looked around my surroundings to pinpoint its location.
My dull (c/e) eyes met up with the same ones that kinda saved me. Soft, sky blue, glowing, robotic eyes looked upon mine with a sort of sadness to the gaze. The guy didn't notice the eyes and looked back down to my helpless form. Lust taking over his senses now.
But with a rush of wind, he was flung off of me, the knife also followed him, making me cry in both fear and eminence pain. I couldn't feel the rain hitting me anymore. Yet, it was still coming down around. My gaze started to fade as a voice addressed the man who was about to sexually abuse me. It sounded deep, wise even, or it was just my ears failing me.
Without a notice, I blacked out.
