You looked at Hunk who was sound asleep in his chair. You were getting bored so you lifted up your tiny fist and brought it down on his leg, hitting it as hard as you could.

"W-What who what? What's going on??" Hunk woke up abruptly. You giggled seeing him startled.

"Oh nothing, we just figured out how to defeat Zarkon." Lance said casually.

"Wow, really? I fall asleep for 5 minutes and you already figured out how to beat the forces of evil?"

"You were asleep for 3 hours!" Pidge exclaimed obviously annoyed.

You looked back to the group and watched how they coordinated to beat 'The mean people'.

"Seems simple enough. Let's get to it." Said Shiro. You watched as they split up into groups. You walked over to Allura, knowing well enough that they wouldn't let you tag along on their missions.

You waved goodbye to everyone and when you spotted Keith you ran over to him to give him a goodbye hug but right before you could make it, Allura picked you up from behind.

"Come along Y/n. I..." Allura looked over at Keith for a split second and then turned around. "I need to watch over you." She carried you and you looked over her shoulder to see Keith with his head hung low.

"Bye-bye." You said while waving. Keith looked up and gave you a sad smile with a wave.

After they left, you turned back to Allura. "Mommy?" You said, not really understanding what was going on.

"Why don't you play with the mice while I do some work with Coran?" She said sweetly but with a hint of sadness in her tone.

"Okay..." You said as she put you down to sit on the floor. The mice quickly appeared and started doing something like a circus act. You couldn't help but smile and clap at their amazing moves.

You were just a kid, after all, you really didn't have to worry about grown-up problems.

Right?

Finally, the time came when the Paladins got back.

"Keef!!!" You shouted seeing him coming in through the door. You jumped and Keith quickly caught you.

"Hey there kiddo." He chuckled seeing you so happy to see him.

"I played with the mice!" You said happily. "Oh! And I also drew this!!"

You squirmed out of Keith's grasp and rushed over to the little play area that you created which had crayons and color papers all over the place.

"Look look!" You showed him your drawing proudly. He took the picture from your hands and Lance couldn't help his curiosity and look over Keith's shoulder.

It was a crude drawing of everyone basically.

"Awwww! Guys! Come look a this!" Lance called out to the others. Shiro, Pidge, and Hunk walked over and inspected your work of art.

"This is very nice." Shiro complimented.

"This is going on the fridge!" Hunk declared as he took the picture from Keith's hands.

All to soon, everyone dispersed and you looked to Keith, waiting for him to say something.

"Good work kiddo." He said simply with a small smile and ruffled your head before leaving. You watched as he left and started feeling really lonely again.

The Paladins, Allura, Coran, and few more people that you didn't know--even a weird creature with a lot of arms--were working on something important apparently.

You knew you shouldn't bother them so you quietly made your way to the lounge room in search of the mice to have some company but not even they were around. You decided to just head over to your room and sat down on your chair and took out your colors to start drawing. But after a while, you just wanted to take a nap.

Some time had passed it had become a routine playing alone or doing anything, by yourself. You would walk around the castle in search of something, anything, fun to do. Every once in a while you would bump into the Paladins but all they would say was

"Hey Y/n!" With a wave and then rush to another part of the castle.

You sighed seeing that it would be just like any other day.

To try and cheer yourself up, you started humming 'Show yourself' From that other movie Lance showed you before.

"I would like to know who that little girl is and what is she doing here?" Slav asked Pidge as he worked on some mechanics of the Teludav.

"Y/n? Oh, we found her on a Galra ship as a prisoner. We took her in since she had nowhere to go." Slav sighed. "What?" Pidge asked while stopping what she was doing.

"There is an 87.6398% chance that that little girl will complicate this mission." He said sadly as if even he didn't want that to be the possibility.

"What are you talking about? She's just a kid and she'll be in the castle during the fight." Pidge said not understanding his logic.

"I do not know how, I only see the probability," Slav said as he got back to work. Pidge sat there still thinking about the things that could go wrong. "What are you waiting for?! Hurry up!!! If we finish this in the next 5 minutes, we'll have a 76.5926% chance that we'll increase the speed of the motors!"

"Y-Yes sir!!"

"It's all coming together," Shiro said as everyone looked at the finished Teludav while the sun was setting on the new planet they docked on.

"Yeah... So what's everybody thinking about?" Pidge asked.

"Zarkon/Calzones" Shiro and hunk said at the same time. Everyone turns to look at Hunk with a questioning expression.

"I mean, uh...heck, yeah I'm thinking about Calzones okay?" Hunk said honestly. "I mean, does it always have to be about Zarkon? He's a bad guy, we're trying to defeat him, I know, I get it, but I'm hungry."

"We've come a long way." Keith added.

"Yeah, remember when hunk used to throw up from riding in the elevator?"Lance chuckled remembering the memory that felt like happened so long ago.

"You guys remember that Arusian, Klaizap I think was his name was cool man." Hunk said.

"Yeah, Keith tried to beat him up even though he was the size of a peanut." Lance teased.

"He was their bravest warrior!" Keith said in his defense.

"How about the time the food Goo attacked us in the kitchen?" Pidge said with a chuckle.

"That's the scariest thing that has happened to me the entire time I've been here." Hunk shivered at the thought.

"Oh come on." Began Lance.

"What? It's the truth."

"We've faced centuries, a haunted castle, giant ro-beast, a security guard."

"And don't forget that cool cube thing!" Added Pidge.

"Yeah and that awful cube thing." Lance sighed.

"You do realize that once we defeat Zarkon, the universe won't need Voltron anymore." Spoke Shiro catching everyone's attention.

"We can return to Earth." Lance said with hope.

"I can look for my family." Pidge furrowed her eyebrows.

"I guess I could look for mine." Keith murmured.

"This is it, as long as everything goes according to plan, we can't fail." Shiro said trying to lighten the mood and give everyone courage.

"By the way, has anyone seen Y/n?"

Meanwhile:

You were walking around the castle confused and disoriented.

I don't remember these hallways...

You thought as you continued walking, trying to find a way out of the huge place.

Suddenly a voice could be heard from your bracelet, scaring the living daylights out of you.

"Ahhh!" You yelled.

"Y/n?" Pidge spoke up sounding worried. Your ears perked up at the sound of a familiar voice.

"Pidge!!!!" You cried.

"Y/n?? Are you okay?? What's wrong??" Now the others leaned in to hear what was going on.

"I don't know where I am!!" You looked around and started to panic, your little heart beating faster.

"Hold on, let me see your location," Pidge said as she tapped some buttons. A map of the castle popped up and everyone could see where you were because of a little red dot.

"Where's that?" Asked Hunk.

"I've never been in that part of the castle..." Added Shiro, trying to find out exactly where you were.

"I'll go get you." Lance and Keith said at the same time and then glared at each other.

"Don't worry Y/n! Your knight in shining armor is coming for you!" Lance declared. Keith just crossed his arms and looked away in annoyance.

"What? You're not even gonna try to beat me?" Keith raised an eyebrow. "Who am I kidding, I'm way faster than you." Lance opened the map and saw your location.

"See ya!" Lance saluted as he jogged away.

"What?! No way in hell you're gonna beat me!" Keith burst into a run.

"Hey! Language!" Shiro shouted and then sighed. You, on the other hand, were still trying to find something, anything familiar.

And soon you heard footsteps getting closer.

Is that them?

You stood up and watched as the shadows got close and soon, the two idiots were turning the corner and racing towards you. You felt so much better seeing them but also felt the need to run away from them to make them run more.

"What the??" Keith raised an eyebrow in confusion.

"Y/n! Get back here!!!" Lance called out. You just giggle and ran as fast as your little legs could carry you.

This went on for quite a while until Lance and Keith decided to leap forward and grab you by your legs, causing you to flop on the floor with an "Oof!".

"Gotcha!" Keith said with the biggest grin you've ever seen. You rubbed your forehead from the fall but laughed it off. "Come on kiddo, let's go back to the others." He said with a chuckle.

"And let's get some ice for that bump." Lance looked at your forehead closely and you gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Thank you!!" You said with a smile. Lance looked at you baffled and had a stupid looking grin on his face, making Keith roll his eyes.

You then turned to Keith and raised your arms towards him so he could pick you up. He chuckled a sigh and picked you up. You held his cheeks with your little hands and gave him a kiss on the lips as you have before.

"Thank you to Keef!" Lance's jaw dropped.

"Why does he get on the lips?! What about me??" He asked you, obviously hurt. You just giggled and hid your face in Keith's chest.

Keith couldn't help but smirk and stick out his tongue like a child while Lance did the 'I'm watching you' signal with his fingers.

Calmly, the two paladins walked back to the group that was waiting in the lounge. By the time they got there, you had already fallen asleep.

"So..." Hunk began. "Was that like? You know, your first kiss?" Hunk couldn't help but laugh after he asked. Keith looked at him confused but then remembered what you did and blushed the slightest bit.

"The mic was still on." Pidge added. Keith avoided any eye contact with the Paladins and just sat down at the end of the couch with you sleeping in his arms.

"Looks like you've finally warmed up to her." Shiro said with kind eyes towards you.

"I'm gonna take her back to her room." He said avoiding Shiro's statement.

He quietly walked down the halls and reached your room. He placed his hand on your door, letting it woosh open. Carefully, he made his way through your messy room filled with crayons, paint, and a lot of colored papers on the floor.

You had a bunch of drawings sprawled out everywhere but there was one that caught his eye. It was on the edge of your small table and Keith gently picked it up, careful not to wake you up in the process.

The paper had drawings of everyone and a small description,

Shiro- #1 Space Dad

Hunk- Sweet as can be!

Pidge- Smart Smart Smart!

Lance- Funny goofball!

And finally Keith- My Hero!

Keith looked at it surprised that that was how you saw him, as someone to look up to. He put the drawing back down on the table and walked over to your bed to lay you down on your bed and tuck you in.

He gently brushed away a few strands of hair that were on your face. kissing the crown of your head Keith then stood up and started making his way out, but before he could, he gave you one last glance.

She really is something.
