You were sleeping in your den when you heard leaves and sticks snapping. You rose and slowly walked to the entrance of your den. You saw the little skeleton with who seemed to ve his father. "Are you sure about this Jam?" You hated the father ask. "I'm positive Daddy!"

You walked out and let out a soft bark. The two turned to see you with your head tilted to the side. "There she is!" 'Jam' said as he walked over. You backed away and looked at the father. Jam looked and looked back at you. "Don't worry! He won't hurt you!"

You looked at Jam before slowly walking over to him. You stayed alert before you sat down in front of him. You heard a gun being placed down before the father walked over. Jam slowly reached to pet your ear when your ear perked back. You growled lightly.

The father pulled Jam's arm back before Jam nodded. "I'm Jammy." You looked at Jammy as he smiled. "Thank you for saving me!" You smiled as your tail wagged. Jammy pulled out a piece of raw chicken from his basket. You sniffed it and slowly took it.

You nodded and nuzzled Jammy before leaving into your den. That's when you heard footsteps starting and fading. You stepped out and watched the two skeletons leave. You didn't know why your heartbeat was speeding up or why you didn't want Jammy to leave.
