You carried a large fawn back to your den before placing it near the rest of your food. You sighed before getting up again. You had more than enough food to last the mating season. It was about a month away, but you didn't want to risk anything.

Mating season.

'Bullshit.' You thought as you growled. You hated the mating season for two reasons. You were the last fucking she-wolf in your forest, and it reminded you of your mother. Your ears lowered before you walked away from your home. Your tail flicked as you hopped on a rock.

Then you saw a little skeleton. He had dark bones and a colorful hood. A bird chirped near you and the little skeleton looked at you. You both stared at eachother, studied eachother, before you sniffed the air and left. Leaves were kicked up as the little skeleton watched you.

》PJ's POV《

I watched as the wolf left. It was beautiful. It had a shiny (f/c) color and large (e/c) eyes. I quickly walked home to see mommy talking to daddy. "Daddy! I think I saw a she-wolf!" I said as I placed my basket down gently.

Daddy looked at me and rose a bone-brow. "A she-wolf? Are you sure?" Daddy asked. I nodded before I went to my room to start on my homework. The wolf was so beautiful. I wanted to see that wolf again and Mayne become friends.

You trotted into your den and started to eat the fresh boar piglet you just killed. You made sure to eat slowly and savour the food. You swallowed the meat before ripping off another piece. You started to think about that little skeleton. Why was there a skeleton in the woods?
