"An admirer for real?"

Continuation...

Lasya woke up without anyone's help today. She was just laying on the bed focusing on the ceiling above. She couldn't get proper sleep last night cause certain someone has already occupied her brains. Some random thoughts were being filled inside her with unanswered questions.

'Who was he?
What was he?
Why was he so handsome?
Why was he smiling?
Why was he being an idiot?
Why didn't he shout at her even if it was her mistake?
Why didn't he flinch even after she threatened him?'

So many questions like what-ifs were running over her head. She feels she is going to be insane if this continues for another day.

"Oh my God
What am I thinking? I am now being creepy..." She said to herself.

Shaking that thought away, she got out of the bed and checked the time. It showed 7 am. It's too early to be awake on a Sunday morning. She knows even if she tries to sleep she will not get sleep. So it's better to get going and finish off the laundry.

Later she planned to go on a grocery shopping after her breakfast.  Later in the evening, she will order a pizza to binge on while watching tv...
Yuppie, that's the plan for today.

She quickly finished her morning routine and washed all her clothes. It took 45 minutes to do since there were a whole week's clothes. Later she cleaned the house.

Done with that, she took a shower and made her way towards the kitchen to cook something for her tummy. When she checked the time, it showed 9.30.

She sighed and made tomato rice for breakfast. She also boiled milk and poured it in Ritchie's bowl with dog food. He happily digs in so as she.

Later she cleaned the kitchen and did the dishes and arranged it properly on the shelf. Finally getting ready for grocery shopping, she took her clutch and locked the door of the apartment. Ritchie, as usual, started following her behind.
Her loyal one!

Within 15 minutes, she reached the grocery market and placed her required items in the cart. It took only 20 minutes to sort the items that she needed for the next week. Being Sunday, the counter was busy. She stood in the queue waiting for her turn to pay the bills and return.

After don't know how long, she paid the bill and exited the market. When Ritchie came to see her he barked out loud. Yes, it's because she has purchased his dog food.

She started walking back home. Today also, she felt like someone was watching her. She stopped right on her tracks and turned back, looked left and right and on to her sideways just to look around with the hope to find someone. But no luck, she didn't see anyone again.

"Then why am I feeling like I am being stalked these days? Neither I have that much money to throw away nor that I have luxurious life or materialistic things to show off then why someone will like me to follow me? What will they get? It's not that I am ugly but I won't be ever enough for this generation guys.

Then why so? I am not getting it. Because of that only, I didn't have any boyfriend till now. Heck, I didn't have my FIRST kiss even if I am 18! That irritates me." She thought to frown a bit.

Sighing sadly, she walked ahead and she was shocked to see an envelope under her feet when she reached her door entrance. She guessed someone might have kept it and left.
But, who and why?

She knelt down to get the envelope and went to the kitchen. She kept the envelope on the slab and got busy arranging the items that she has purchased from the grocery shop. Some of them got into the fridge and some into cabinets. She also bought some instant edible items to munch on while watching TV.

She didn't notice the time flew and Ritchie started whining. She poured milk into his bowl with new flavored dog food. He happily started eating it and within no time he finished it. Just then, when she passes through the kitchen to fill her jug she noticed the envelope. She took it and tore to find a note inside.

Her eyes popped out of the socket when she read the matter written Inside

"Hey hi

I was planning to write for a long time when I first saw you at the Olympics cafe. Oh my God, you knocked down everything in me with your lovely sight. I fell for you at the very first sight. So you are going to be my little hearts! You are very beautiful my dear... And always will be, also don't underestimate yourself for anything!!!

Yours only admirer"

What is this?
Who is he?
What does he want..?
What did he mean fell at very first sight?

So many what-ifs we're running in Lasya's mind at that time. It was like her ground beneath was slipping taking her along...not knowing the destination.

"What nonsense
How is this even possible? Oh my God, I didn't have enough problems already and now this has to happen... Oh God, what's happening and why is my life a complete mess..." She groaned internally.

"No, I don't want to be a joker for someone's prank like this. I am not going to believe in this and I am not going to fall in the lovesick drama trap and what the hell does he want from me? I am not going to leave him when I come to know who the person is. Just waiting for you Mr. Admirer" She said looking at the kitchen wall to no one else in particular.

God only knows whom she actually pointing to. Let her get him first, then she will teach him a lesson which he will never ever forget in his life for messing with her.

Time flew and it's eve by now and by this time she was a little calm after all the things happened. Later she decided to place an order for pizza for herself. She dialed nearby Domino's number.

"Hello Good evening, Domino's Pizza"
She had a smile forming on her face due to their mug up lines.

"Hey there, I am Lasya and I wanna place an order for farmhouse regular pizza and a chocolate lava cake to the address - apt G01, Dixson street, brigade road Bangalore 20," she said.

It seems she is quickly typing it on her computer and placing the order cause she heard her typing sounds like clicking on her keys on the keyboard!

"Thank you, madam, for placing two items in your order and it will be delivered to you within 30 minutes and if not, your pizza will be free of cost. do you need anything else?" The girl on the other side said.
Free pizza for a late delivery.. wow.. she could have given a wrong address then... Hahahahah

"Oh wow, that's cool. thanks anyway, I am expecting my pizza now and that's all it for now." Lasya said.

Some shuffling sounds can be heard.

"Thank you for choosing Domino's Pizza and have a great time ma'am," The girl said.

"Always Domino's and yes thanks", Lasya said.

She cuts the call and waits eagerly for the delivery boy to get her pizza so that she can start munching on it without sharing it with anyone.

Ritchie doesn't like it to have, so pizza is all for herself.

yuppie isn't it great to not share when it comes to pizza?

Exactly after 20 minutes or so, she heard her doorbell. She was excited to have her pizza so without caring herself the way she looked, she strode towards the door.

"Hey, thanks." She took the parcel and asked. "How much is it?" She leaned over the door and he gave her the bill. It says 270rs.

"Okay! Please let me get my wallet. Just a minute" saying so she left the delivery man hanging in front of her door. She then brought the exact money and gave it to him. While giving, his fingers slightly brushed her arm.

She felt electricity running down her whole system burning all her senses. She didn't dare to look at the man's face so she took the pizza box and closed the door. She quickly marched towards the dining area and started munching her pizza and cake she has never eaten anything before...

She enjoyed it to the core and relished it to its infinite taste. It's been a while since she ate a pizza. It's worth eating now.
Dang! One should order it often then. It's too yummy...

When she was about to throw the empty pizza box to the trash can she found one small note in it beneath the pizza tray. She was curious to know what it will be. She carefully retrieved it and dumped the box.

Her eyes widened and her mouth automatically opened and she was gaping like a fish which was just jumped out of the water!
Yet another note!

"Oh, my admirer, what do you really want?" She thought mentally while gazing at the note for a longer time.

The note stated:-

"Dear little hearts!

I hope you enjoyed the pizza.
I know you paid it now but next time I am gonna offer it for you.
Btw I must tell you, you were looking adorably gorgeous in your kitty PJs. You are so beautiful my little hearts!

Falling for you deeply!

Yours only admirer"

What's this now...? So, is there a chance that the delivery boy being her admirer?
Whom shall she enquire about?

"Oh God, what should I do now. This guy really knows how to play with my brains..." She mentally cursed him.

Days passed by and she didn't get any more secret letters but still, she couldn't get over the admirer fact.

"I don't know what to do and how to do. This admirer thing is not getting out of my mind ever since a week." She said while taking a seat in the library after completing her work to read freely.
