"Beyond words, there is something"

It's been an hour Lasya was sitting inside the room and solving the problems. She didn't take her eyes off of the paper for a minute also. She was so engaged with it that she didn't realize the time. There came a sudden announcement.

"There are only 5 minutes left for your answer sheets to return and within 30 minutes we will announce the winners for the next final round. So it's a request you all should wait here for the next 35 minutes. So hurry up with the re-reading the answers." One of the supervisors made their way to collect the sheets.

Lasya was seated in the second row so she has little extra time and she quickly went through everything and felt little confidence. She closed her eyes and just believes in herself. Just then the supervisor came and took the paper from her. Now everything left to almighty and let him decide her fate. She thought to take a nap for a while since there is no one known around her.

Shravas was also there in the venue accompanying his friend's brother Karan to get a spot Admission under the ECE department. He doesn't know about Lasya until now.

He was sad these days since there was no way to get to her, he didn't see her for three days now. He is being restless and behaves like a love-struck teenager.

As he was waiting down the hall, Karan came up with a smile and gave him a hug.

"Thanks, bro. I got a seat at the most famous RV college. Now I am going to rock my college life." He said and gave him a HiFi.

Shravas didn't understand why he chose different colleges all of a sudden. He just waited for him to give an explanation cause assuming things are the worst.

"Woah that's great. Congratulations Karan. Finally, you got a seat in a prestigious college. But..."

Karan cut off Shravas from saying any further, and he continued, "bro, I wanted to do something of my own since the beginning. And when I got this seat in a different college according to my mark, isn't it great? Rather than going with the influence or like that!"

Shravas was now understanding his mentality and he was feeling good about his friend's brother. He did well for his life today! He didn't say anything instead asked him to continue.

"So, when they asked about the college required I put forth my options or say choices, and luckily I got the seat as there was only one seat vacant in the desired department. I am so happy bro. All thanks to you for accompanying me till here.", Karan said and gave him a handshake while thanking Shravas numerous times.

"And, I have heard there are more beautiful girls in that college than any other, so you see...." Karan trailed off shrugging his shoulders as if the thing he said didn't mind by Shravas.

Shravas laughed at him and gave him a hug. "You better concentrate on your studies and later you can rock your life. Don't waste your learning opportunity." He gave him advice and Karan nodded in return.

"Bro, I will go from here and will contact you later. I have called my friends and we are having a get together in a nearby restaurant. Do you mind coming with us?"

'Uh oh, lunch with them. No way, I am better than being alone at the moment.' Shravas thought mentally.

And the reason he is avoiding is, one of Karan's friend has a crush on Shravas and he doesn't want to face her at this moment, as she starts flirting with him whenever they come across in front of each other.

"Nah, I am better here. I going to meet my friend anyway. So no issue, you carry on and if you have a doubt please do come over okay. Also, pass my regards to Uncle and aunty."

He nods in understanding and left the place.

Shravas bid bye to him and left the admission room. He was wandering here and there and was about to pass the canteen side when he all of a sudden bumps into someone known.

He rubs his forehead and raises his head to look at the person. He is surprised to see his cousin Harish here.

"Wow, well who is here? Hari what are you doing, you should be in your bedroom right now not in an admission venue?" Shravas let out a knowing smirk and raised an eyebrow.

His eyes widened hearing his open comment which made his cheeks turn into a crimson red due to embarrassment. He bowed his head down due to shyness.

"Arre yaar, don't be too intriguing. I just came along with Tina to accompany her friend for the test."

Shravas chuckled and smacked his arm. But then suddenly a realization struck his mind. 

"It's okay, I was just asking. Btw which friend and what's her name?"

He gets confused and frowns, thinking why is he asking about her all of the suede with utmost interest.

"It's Lasya yaar who else. She is writing a scholarship test today to join the engineering program by the compulsion of Tina. She has missed two years of her college life even though she is just 18. Tina told me she is brilliant in her studies and due to monetary issues she couldn't continue her education back then. If she gets this scholarship she could achieve her dream without struggling much cause she doesn't have anyone else to provide her anything. So this is very much important for her and for us especially Tina. Lasya is brilliant with everything and her technical I mean academic interest and choices are very impressive."

Shravas was listening all this in awe and had a smile when he heard about his girl's abilities but somewhere he felt sad cause she doesn't have anyone to provide support, back at her home. She is all alone struggling to meet her needs.

He admits she is one cutie who is very brave, courageous, and brilliant in all aspects of her life...

"Oh, that sounds cool. I hope she gets the scholarship and chooses her interesting program. Btw where is Tina?", Shravas asked looking around.

"She has gone to the washroom and she will be here within 10. Btw why are you here?", Harish asked him as they started walking towards the room where Lasya was writing the test.

"I was accompanying my friend's brother here to help him to get through spot Admission." Shravas reply casually.

He hums in response and checks on his phone while walking and talking to Shravas.
"Oh wow, this whole admission process is cool. They are getting in lots of talented people"

Shravas nods in agreement
"Yeah! I agree with you. Btw is she in this room?" He asked as he pin-point towards a classroom.

Harish frown grew and turned to his side to clear his doubt. "Vasu, but why are you so interest to know about her and why do I feel like you are excited to meet her and it's like you are acting as if you are a kid and you are getting candy after a lot of pestering from your mom.", Harish narrowed his eyes at his cousin.

Shravas eyes widened upon realization hit him, the way he acted just a few minutes ago. He mentally groaned and bit his inner cheek to stop smiling as he doesn't want anyone to know, yet!

Before Shravas could say anything, Tina came and their conversation gets interrupted.

"Hey, Vasu. You here?", Tina exclaimed with a smile not leaving her face.

"hm..yeah. I was accompanying my friend's brother to here for spot admission and luckily he got into RV college.", Shravas answered back with a shrug.

"Woah, that's great. It's so kind of you to give him a company. Well, where is he?", Tina asked turning around like kinda checking if someone is there or not.

"He went just a few minutes ago as he said he was going to have a get together with his friends. So, I was walking back to the entrance and I got stumbled into your husband!", Shravas said chuckling.

"Aww, that's good to know.", Tina agreed and looked into the direction of a room.

Shravas followed her direction and there he saw his little heart waiting eagerly with a hope, shining on her face.

His heart started to beat rapidly with a glimpse of his little heart.

'There she is, my little heart! How much I wished to see you my dear in these three days! Woah, finally my Almighty fulfilled my wish." He thanked his Lord mentally, making him smile looking at her.

"I guess she has finished her test. Let's wait for her to come. Shravas, are you in a hurry?", Tina asked with hope shimmering in her eyes.

Shravas heart skipped a beat, as he understood what she meant.

"No, I am not in a hurry. We shall wait and congratulate her for this win", Shravas said out of the flow.

As soon as those words left his mouth, Tina snapped her head at him and raised her eyebrows for an explanation.

"Well, I know from Harish, that she is brilliant. So, I just guessed, to be specific my instinct is saying that she will bag this scholarship program!", Shravas stated as a matter of fact.

But Tina understood, there was something more to his wish! Cause his face was giving up all kinds of reactions. Anyone who knows the meaning of love could understand it. And now, Tina is high with pregnancy hormones and it was easy for her to dig deep into any emotions or say reactions. But she knows this is his matter and she would respect it so keeping quiet, she just nodded her head and waited for her together.

Just then, they heard an announcement made!

"Thank you guys for giving us some time to go through your answers. I have 6 people's names with me and they have been selected for the next round of selection and it will be based on their 10th and 12th marks also with a face to face talk. Then we will select the lucky 3 for our full-time scholarship program. So are you guys ready to hear out the names?", the supervisor asked excitedly!

Lasya was hell nervous and was fidgeting her fingers as she felt all of a sudden out of place.

She heard others shout as "yes" to the supervisor. She bowed her head down and closed her eyes.

Her heart beating rapidly across her ribs. This result will turn her life for the better. Hope almighty is with her.

"Please come front once you hear your name. Okay, the first one to get selected is Vishal Malhotra,
Then
Gaurav Srivastav,
Sruthi Saini,
Deepak Acharya"

"Oh God, already 4 names down, two more to go. I wish I could make it up to this program" she murmured under her breath and raised her head to look at the supervisor.

"Lasya Sharma
And last but not the least Shaan Philip"

Once Lasya heard her name being called out she beamed out of happiness and tears were rolling down her cheeks. She couldn't believe that she actually made it.

She slowly stood up from her seat and paved the way to the front and stood facing others. She had a content smile on her face and she couldn't thank enough to her almighty.

"So congratulations to dear students who are now standing beside me and I hope out of you 6, the best 3 will get into the scholarship program. I hope you all have a very good percentage in your 10th and 12th because the next decision will be based on that. Also, these special 6 will get academic goodies from us for their best performance in this test. Now, please follow me with your documents. Thank you"
