"A new horizon in her life"

It's been a few days since Lasya has come back from Goa to Bangalore to continue her normal routine.

She personally enjoyed the trip to the maximum and it's her first outing to a faraway place. And more than that, she liked the place and idea of a destination wedding.

Also, her friend Tina has personally contacted her once she has reached the place and she mentioned her gratitude for the things she has done for her as a friend. Later they talked about for an hour or so regarding life after marriage and she let her know the honeymoon plans.

Lasya felt a little awkward listening to such details at first but later it got used and she herself started giving her ideas making it all cool and continued their funny conversation.

Tina promised her to visit soon and she gave her surprising information. That she and her husband are going to settle in Bangalore once they come back from the honeymoon.

Hearing this, Lasya started jumping out of excitement.

Why will not she be happy?

After all, she is her only friend and she seems to be coming back to her own city.

She is obviously happy and on the other side, Tina was having happy tears cause of the pregnancy hormones.

Tina knows Lasya, her friend from work who is known to her and had been close for two years. So Tina is happy to an extreme level and it's her idea to settle back in Bangalore and her pestering Harish did give the fruit of success.

First, they were about to get settled in Mumbai as her husband Harish's new project is based on there. But he is a nice person and he readily agreed to Tina's suggestion as she doesn't have anyone else other than her mom and Lasya. Leaving them and going away means something is not right. So eventually Harish had to agree with her.

Even her in-laws are very lovable and adjustable to the core that they also agreed to be in Bangalore. Once a month, they might have to visit the Mumbai branch. It's not that a big deal for Tina.

Tina's mom was planning to be in Bangalore doing something for her in old age. But Harish didn't allow or say like this idea of she being all alone. He requested his mother in law to be with them so that they could be all together in the coming days. Somehow she couldn't deny his request and agreed to him to be with them.

Lasya has missed being with her Ritchie even though it was only for two days. But still, she couldn't keep her mind away from him after all she has only him.

She has given him to kennel club to take care for two days and when Lasya reached Bangalore airport she took a cab and directly went to the kennel club to get back his Ritchie.

Ritchie on seeing her jumped over her and started licking her face out of happiness. Well, anyone can say they have missed each other very much.

Ever since she has returned, she has made her mind that she is not going anywhere now leaving her Ritchie behind.

Life again turns to be normal for Lasya as she continues with her usual routine like visiting the park for jogging and to her three jobs.

On the other side, Shravas was continuing his vacation with his family after the wedding since his second year was completed. So he and his family stayed back in Goa for one week after his cousin Harish's marriage. They all went outing by exploring many places.

But all this while, his mind, and heart were filled with only one girl's image - his girl Lasya. Ever since she has left he is being a loner and stays aloof all the time. He smiles just for the sake of his family whenever they are around and rest of the time he stays all moody.

He understood her importance in his life and now he knows, he needs her the most in this life for his sanity.

He is waiting for her glance and he can't wait to seem to get back to Bangalore.

After all the enjoyments they returned after a week, back to Bangalore and Shravas is all interested and excited to see his girl again.

He starts to visit her every day in the supermarket where she works as a cashier on her last shift. She doesn't know since he stays from a distance all the time.

He gets satisfied just by seeing her work with a smile. She seems to be tired but still, she maintains a smile on her face. That's her positive attitude towards her life. He also feels happy seeing her Ritchie following her all the time keeping her safe.

Once she reaches home, he returns to his house and calls it a day. It's been the ritual for him for weeks now.

There is hardly a month left now to reopen his college. Everywhere the admissions are going on in full swing for almost all colleges.

"Oh no, our vacation is coming to end!" Kinshuk whined while having a cup of coffee sitting in the Shravas room balcony!

"Yes my friend. It is coming to end and I am excited as we are into the third year. And a lot of exciting things are lined up." He said relaxing on his recliner, taking the sunset view into his sight!

"Well, I agree with the events lined up in our third year. But what about our freedom from books?" Kinshuk asked again making him chuckle at his silly friend.

"Books are life. In life, even if we are not attending college we are still learning. So, there is no way to stop it. Take it cool kin!" Shravas said with a smile.

Kinshuk looked at his understanding and nodded his head back.

They both indulged in watching the sunset and a comfortable silence fell over them.

After a few minutes, Kinshuk got up to return to his home.

"Ok Vasu. We shall meet tomorrow. I am heading back as I am off to my parent's house today. "

"Ok then. Pass on my regards to uncle and aunty." Shravas said while getting up and walking towards the wardrobe as he was planning to take a shower.

Kinshuk had a knowing smile, still didn't dare to ask him. After all they are childhood friends. He knows whatever he even thinks in his mind.

"By the way, I forgot to tell you. I met a girl in the Harish wedding. Oh my, what to tell yaar. She is an epitome of innocence along with stylish sass! I was flat in the first meet." Kinshuk said dreamily waiting for his friend to reach for it.

Hearing this, Shravas stopped doing whatever he was up to and in a nick, he turned to face him.

Kinshuk was smirking at him as if he knows what he was thinking.

"Kin, I told you and I don't..." He was cut off in the middle by Kinshuk's hysterical laughter.

"Oh God, you should have seen your facial expressions. Damn, you are too doomed. Also, she is good. Take care of her Vasu." Kinshuk said with a knowing smile and finished off with a wink.

"How come you know? I never told you about that!" Shravas voiced out his doubt.

"Well, I am your friend Vasu for that matter. I know how you think and behave at times. And I have also noticed you several times at the wedding that your eyes we're freely following certain someone with so much adoration!" Kinshuk said making Vasu tongue tie.

Vasu leaped forward and hugged him right murmuring a thank you.

Kinshuk patted his back in agreement and whispered slowly, "It's fine. You don't have to tell. You always have my back and I don't want you to fall in the false trap just like I did. For that, I was keeping a tab on her."

Listening to him, Shravas pulled back from the hug, and whisper yelled, "what?"

Kinshuk chuckled, "you heard me bro. Also, I found out you also follow her in the evening and now also, you are planning to visit her at the supermarket. Isn't it?" He said in a way like daring to disagree.

"I too understand Kin. Thank you so much for taking care of this matter. And I feel now I am a bad friend to you. Cause I was not a help for you in any way!" Sadness was etching in Shravas voice.

"Hey, it's fine ok. You remember the way you lashed out on Muskaan at the arena that day! It is enough for me. I am glad you did give her a dose of medicine." Kinshuk said smiling and blinking his eyes.

While they were talking, a sudden phone call interrupted them. It was Shravas phone and he attends the call as it was from his friend.

"Hey bro, hope you know me. I am Rahul's younger brother and I wanted to know if there is any seat or currently any admissions are going on for the ECE branch?" He asked panting from the other side of the phone.

It was from one of his friend's brother who is in need of admission to the same college as him and his brother. He has once contacted but didn't get through as the call didn't get connect. He tried contacting Shravas again and again and this time it got connected as it's important to inquire as Shravas is in the student admission program committee; so he knows if the admissions are going on or not.

He mouths as Karan to Kinshuk and put on the call in loudspeaker mode and starts talking.

"Yeah, next Sunday there is a spot Admission going to held in Racecourse road. If possible give it a chance and if you want I can accompany you." He said.

"Oh wow, that would be great. Btw what are the required documents that I need to bring while coming? also is there any exams they might conduct for the seat?" His voice came in a slight panic, afraid of exams.

Shravas chuckled hearing his panic-stricken voice.

"Just your TC, a conduct certificate and 10th and 12th certificates along with four passport size photos will do. And don't worry there won't be any exams and the seats are based on a first come first serve basis. So we must be there as early as possible. Then you might get a chance to get into our college." He said in a voice filled with concern and he gave him a boost for the need!.

"Oh thank you, bro. It was a great help and yes I will be early and will come to your house along with my brother. Then we will go to the admission venue."
He said in excitement and sheer joy.

"Yup, will do that. I can't wait to have you along cya."

Later they hung up the call. "Well, that would be fun if Karan joins us," Kinshuk stated as a matter of fact!

"I guess too. But he is a little bit flirty with girls. So, I hope we won't get into any trouble." Shravas said laughing.

"It's fine. Don't think any negative. Anyway Okay, then I shall get going. And you to shower so you won't be late visiting your love!" Kinshuk said and ran away even before Shravas could understand what he meant.

Shravas shaking his head after listening to what his friend said, and went to take a shower. Later on, he got ready to visit his love at the supermarket with a smile.

At the supermarket, the night was filled with lots of customers and especially on the billing counter. Since one of Lasya's co-workers didn't come she has to manage two counters at a time.

She is hell tired because of all-day works and now she just needs to get into her bed. But with this rush hour is on, she thinks her shift is going to get extended a bit. She grits her teeth due to frustration while billing the items.

"It's 500rs sir!" She tells a man of her age and instead of giving her money he just checks her out.

When she was not getting the money, she raises her head and her eyes widen in horror as he smirks at her licking his lower lip. She scrunches her nose in disgust and looks away on her other side thinking how to get rid of this creepy customer.

"Sir, it's a rush hour. It will be of great help if you hand over the money so that others in the queue shall go to their home in time." She tried to be honest and didn't stutter while requesting him.

Whereas he didn't bother to reply, he just hands over his credit card to swipe the amount.
