Little green stars blare into my suddenly awake eyes. I try to turn my head to the clock on my desk, but I can't move. I open my mouth to call for Jin, but nothing comes out. It's happening.

Big girl panties! Big girl panties!

"Vel?" I hear Jin's voice whisper to me.

YES! I try to call back, but he can't hear me. I can't even hear me.

"Holy shit!"

What?! I try to call him. Through the dark, I can hear him scrambling back towards my closet. I can't feel anything, and no matter how hard I try, I can't move. My eyes stay focused on the green stars ahead of me on the wall. Silence fills the room. I can't hear Jin anymore. Is he okay?

That's when I see me—Red Lady. She's there, just standing in front of me with red, crazed hair, pale skin glowing, and dark eyes gleaming from the green shine of the stars.

What do you want?! I scream at her. But again, nothing fills the air except the pounding of my heart. She stands still and tilts her head towards me. Did she hear me? Does she know Jin's hiding in the closet? 

Her empty eyes meet mine before she turns toward the window. I watch as she opens the curtains, the light from the night sky illuminates her. She's glowing. Then, quickly, without even opening the window, she goes through and is gone, and everything goes dark.
