Disappointed
Mercy POV
Ring ring.
"Hello?"
"Yes this is."
"She did what?!"
I slid on my coat grabbed my keys and called Genji.
When I arrived I was met with police tape around the school. Ruby sitting in a police car. Gold gauntlets on her hands. And a body bag going into an ambulance. "Wait!" I walked in. The officers knowing I could fix this. I had my staff, and resurrected the girl. "She will wake tomorrow. Say she was unconscious. She would be traumatized if you didn't." The parents gave me a cold look. I returned it. "Your daughter did this!" I hissed, "It was your daughter who was bullying her. You're lucky I had pity for you." I spat and turned. Going to the car and grabbing Ruby by the ear. Pulling her to the car.
Ruby POV
Oh boy... Mom opened the car door and grabbed me by the ear. My gauntlets blood stained. She sat me in the car, and let me buckle myself. She got into her seat held the wheel and sighed. Without turning around, I could tell she was disappointed. "She asked for it," I said slowly, "She kept picking on me, I couldn't control it!" I said. Pleading it wasn't my fault. She gave me a sharp look in the mirror. And my breath hitched. "I'm very disappointed you." She said. Not even looking back. "Your father. Is disappointed." Her grip on the wheel tightened. "I'm embarrassed, in fact. I had to come to your school, to resurrect a girl. Because you couldn't control yourself. " I grit my teeth. "Maybe if that fatty raised her kid right. We wouldn't have fought." She suddenly stopped the car and gave me a swift slap on the cheek. "Don't ever speak like that again, I raised you better than this..." she started the car again. And when we got home she got out and went inside. Leaving the door open. I unbuckled myself and hopped out the car, going inside. Where my father rushed to me, holding my cheek and giving me a hug. "What were you thinking?!" Mom spoke up. "She wasn't." I had fury in my heart, and probably in my eyes. I stood up and pushed past her. Going to my room and locking the door. Crying into my pillow. There was a phone call to the house phone. My mother picked it up. She had a conversation then yelled to me. "Don't bother going to school. You're expelled." My eyes widened. Then tears came down from my face and I screamed into my pillow. "It isn't fair!" I shouted. "It Isn't fair..." I said, my eyes shutting. I was tired.
Genji POV
The rage in her eyes.... reminds me of Hanzo. That day he. Nevermind it.
Ruby POV
When I woke up it was quiet late. 12 at night. I got up and rubbed my eyes, opening my door to faintly see a small bowl in the darkness. I picked it up. And the glass of water next to it. And brought it to my bed. Shining my night light at it. Grinning. Some chicken noodle soup, with squiggly noodles! I ate it quickly. "Enjoying it?" Moms voice. I looked over quickly. I glared and went back to my food. " You're welcome." She said. I set down my bowl. "Thanks. " I said coldly, mocking her tone from the car. She shut my door. "Tch..." I said. Going to my desk after and taking out a sheet of paper and a pencil. "Might as well draw..." I started drawing a bird, when it was finished I looked at it with a small smile. "If I had wings like that.... I'd fly from all my problems."
