Ruby POV

Nova and I were walking to school now. It was Monday, and personally my least favorite. It was another 10 minutes of walking, but if we ran we could cut it to 6. But obviously, we were way too lazy. "Our parents should meet sometime." I glanced over at him, "Why?" He looked at the ground with a shade of pink on his pale-ish cheeks. "Nevermind." I giggled, "Are you... blushing?" I nudged his shoulder and his posture shot up, his hand shoving me a little. "N-No." He looked The other direction with a pout. I laughed, and almost tripped, his hand quickly grabbing me and pulling back up I brushed my hair back. "Thanks" I quickly walked ahead. Going up the stairs and walking into school, Nova quickly following me. "Wait up!" He called, and I looked back, stuck my tongue out and took off around the corner to my locker. I slide down, opening my locker hurriedly but missed the number, and then Nova caught up and scared me, grabbing my shoulder with a "Boo!"  I jumped and hit my head on his face, "Ow~!!!!" I yelped with a smile, he held his nose. Red coming out from between his fingers. "Shhhhhiiiiiii....oooooottt." a teacher walked past behind him so I caught myself before saying shit. "Its fine. Lets just go to the bathrooms." I blushed, "N-Not like that!" I giggled and punched his shoulder, "I know I know." And I opened my locker and set down all my stuff, then waited outside the boys bathroom. Finally Nova came out with a goofy grin and the bell rang. "We should hurry." He nodded, "You go, I still have to put away my stuff." I nervously laughed, "Sorry... again." He smirked and walked off into the crowd. I sighed and started for class, walking into the door while ignoring the Hi i got from the teacher. Sitting down in my usual seat in the back by the corner. Mostly so people couldn't kick my chair, pull my hair, or spit paper-balls at me like everyone does to everyone else. The people in the back are like the rulers of the class. They can hit anyone in the class, and not get hit back. Its perfect, and when you sit back here your ego is through the roof. Trust me I know. I sighed contently as I rested my feet on someones chair, pushing into it on purpose. They gave me a glare and I smirked, putting my legs down with a cocky grin. They scoffed and turned back to their work and I giggled. The teacher coming in and starting class. "Alright students, open your books to page 182."

~3hourslater~

I packed up my stuff and walked out of the class, time for lunch, oh boy... I followed the stream of people into the lunch room and got in a line, putting in my ear buds and reading a cool book on my phone. Eventually I got my lunch and headed to my usual table with Nova and our other friends Jaydnn and Marco. "Long class?" Jaydnn asked while brushing her long dark brown hair with teal ends off her shoulder. I nodded and sat down with a huff. "History's the worst..." I mumbled through a bite of food. "Psh, what about P.E?" I groaned , "gross." They all laughed and I smirked, comfortable with them. "But anyway how were you're classes?" I turned to Nova. Marco Grinned and whispered something to Jaydnn which made her smile and whisper something back. They both giggled and Nova and I looked over, "What?" Marco managed to say something between laughs, "Why don't you guys just become a thing already?" That little- "Dunno." Nova responded, smoothly taking a bite of food. "You should. You guys are adorable." He looked the other direction and I  buried my face in my hands a blush across my whole face. "W-Whatever..." I said slightly snobbish.

Nova and I started our walk home. "Ya know... What they said earlier, i'd.... Be up for it ." He mumbled. "What do you mean?" He looked the other way. "nevermind. You don't remember." I cocked an eyebrow. "O....kay?"

(Sorry its shorter than usual children. But im planning on updating a lot more this week if I can. And im also gonna try and update in the mornings for people in different time zones. So im not disturbing peeps. :p
But anyway, as asians/koreans like me say.
