Preparation

Emerald orbs fluttered open slowly, smiling softly as he reached for the Omega, only to come up short. He shot up, looking around the room only to see that the blond was gone. He growled in frustration, carding his fingers into his messy curls and pulling at the roots with a huff. Had the crimson eyed boy used him? Was he really just a quick fuck to the Omega? The blond was so sincere the night prior, perhaps he regretted their intimacy? He did seem like a virgin... Did he feel as if Izuku took advantage of the fact that he was drunk? His thoughts only seemed to make him angrier, wiping the tiredness from his eyes as he glanced over at the nightstand. There resided a beautifully made mask, small diamonds embedded into the red and black fabric tediously. What a minx. He smiled softly, grabbing onto the handcrafted item to bring it up to his nose, inhaling the sweet scent of caramel deeply like he was starved. "Who are you?" He asked softly, thumbing gently at the silk mindlessly. His eyes flickered to the window, gasping once he realized what time it was. He was going to be late. His parents were going to kill him.

Izuku threw the divine blanket off his nude body with a tired groan, standing with a stumble as he rushed to find his attire for the day. The man clumsily stepped into his pants, pulling his discarded button-up over his muscular shoulders and reaching to buckle his belt. "Fuck..." he sighed as he worked to button most of the buttons on his shirt, adjusting the collar as he glanced at his reflection in the pristine mirror across the room, stepping forward in an attempt to fix his messy hair. The greenette shook his head, sitting on the bed and pulling his clunky boots on, although he really didn't see the point in wearing them to the event. He preferred to duel barefoot, after all. He messily tied them up, strapping his sword in its rightful place on his belt and cursing in frustration at the red marks protruding from his shirt, just slightly visible at his collarbone. Damn it! He shook his head, curiously pulling his shirt off slightly and looking over his back. A series of deep, long scratches adorned his freckled skin, small bruises staining his flesh from where the Omega's feet were locked at his hips.

The display made him feel oddly proud, smirking when he remembered the marks he had left on the blond. Surely he'd be able to pick him out of the crowd from the purple marks embedded in his perfect neck. What were they even thinking? How had they spiraled into something so ravenous that quickly from just a bit of booze? Maybe they really were meant to be, their bodies reacted to one another so intimately. They fit together perfectly the night prior, their entire beings molding to the shape of each other. He smiled, fixing his shirt and pulling on his vest. Izuku carefully covered the hickeys with his clothing the best he could, grabbing what he needed and rushing out of his room towards the battle yard. He arrived slightly out of breath, glancing up from the stadium at the center stage where the royal family sat, watching as the Omegan prince sat staring at his suitors with a disgusted scowl. The blond rolled his eyes, turning his attention away and instead focusing on his neatly done nails. What a brat. Izuku shook his head, watching the prince's spoiled behavior. He much preferred his Omega over such an entitled wretch.

Several of the contestants conversed with each other while everyone in the crowd settled in their seats, Izuku heading towards the benches where he began taking off his boots. He had to at least make this look realistic. He quirked a brow when he looked up and saw the Omegan prince staring at him intently with a fiery glint in his crimson eyes, the Alpha shaking his head with an annoyed sigh and drawing his sword from its sheath on his hip, running his fingers over the cool metal before putting it back. "Izuku, honey!" A sweet voice called his name, eyes snapping to the plump form of his mother hanging on his father's arm. He internally rolled his eyes.

"Mother, father," he greeted starkly, setting his boots on the bench and standing. "Why are you two down here? Shouldn't you be with the other visiting royals?" He questioned, letting a faux smile tug at his lips.

"How could we not come wish you luck in person, son?" His father laughed, the corners of his eyes wrinkling when he smiled. Izuku felt like gagging. "Aren't you going to give your parents a hug?" The man said playfully, opening his arms for the younger male to embrace him. Izuku frowned, glaring at his raven haired sire and crossing his arms over his chest. Inko laughed awkwardly, pulling away from Hisashi and stepping forward to capture the greenette in her arms, despite his objections.

"Izuku," she whispered warningly in his ear, holding him tightly while he clicked his tongue in annoyance. "It would be wise to be kind to your parents." She reminded him with a sickly smile gracing her face. "We wouldn't want anything bad to happen to your new mate, would we?" The woman pouted innocently, in a high-pitched voice, glancing up at the blond prince staring out at the crowd of Alphas with an exasperated expression. She caught the freckled male's eyes again, giggling softly.

"He is not my mate," Izuku growled harshly, pulling away from his dam and angrily staring at the two of them. "If you'll excuse me, I really must prepare to fight." He spoke dismissively, turning away only for a hand to grip his shoulder. "What is it, father?" He seethed, more than ready to escape this conversation before he did something he may regret.

"Izuku," he warned, "Remember what we discussed? It would be in your best interest to win this competition." Maybe he wouldn't regret it, after all.

"I know, father." Izuku inhaled sharply, slapping his hand away from his shoulder and walking toward the middle of the arena, practically fuming. Who did they think they were, threatening him in such a way? Power-hungry fools. Both of them. His emerald eyes snapped back up to prince, sighing and shaking his head for what seemed like the millionth time that day. He may not be marrying him, but he'd try his best to protect him from the monsters that he's forced to call his parents. His mother had never been as bad as his father until recent. She was the one that cared for him when his father got too rough, hit him too hard. The scars on his arms began to itch at the thought, turning his attention to the ground before leaning back against a tree. How had such a sweet woman turned so evil at the mention of an Omega with power? They both revolted him.

"Ladies and gentlemen!" The booming voice brought Izuku out of his thoughts, snapping his eyes to the center stage where queen Mitsuki stood proudly next to her husband, Omegan son still slumped in his throne as if he were bored. "As you already know, we are gathered here today in order to find my son," she turned her attention to the prince, pulling him by the wrist out of the chair and gripping his shoulders to show him off despite his obvious protests, "A suitable mate!" The woman smiled proudly, pausing to glance down at the group of contestants while prince Katsuki scowled threateningly at the longing eyes raking over his body as if he were a piece of meat.

"We have many amazing suitors here, and I wish you all luck." The queen released her son when Masaru finished speaking, herding Katsuki back to his seat before sitting in her own throne, king Masaru following suit. Izuku's competitors spread out, all twenty of them getting into a fighting stance as they awaited for the signal to start. As he looked around, he scoffed, taking in just how weak his competition seemed to appear. How was he supposed to fake losing to these weaklings? He silently cursed his luck for his status as a prime Alpha, gripping his sword and taking a deep breath. His eyes shifted momentarily to his parents, before he completely turned his attention to the task at hand. The horn sounded, every Alpha in the stadium moving on instinct. This was going to be a bloody fight.

Katsuki whined as he awoke, the light blinding him and his hips aching severely. The hazy, drunken memories from the night prior filled his mind, his cheeks turning red and his eyes falling onto the sleeping form of the Alpha he had slept with. He was so surreal. His curly hair seemed to form a halo around his slightly rounded cheeks, his dark freckles more prominent with the morning sun seeping into the room. His large hands were locked perfectly around the Omega's hips, face smushed into the blond's supple chest as he snored lightly. He was bare, completely nude, as was Katsuki aside from the mask, and he couldn't help but slick when he saw the long scratches that he had left on the Alpha during their intimacy. Everything about the image before him was sexy, downright delicious. The Omegan prince swallowed hard, taking a deep inhale of the thick scent that surrounded him before carefully sliding out of the man's grip. He had to leave before the greenette came to.

Slowly, the blond reached for his dress and heels scattered around, not caring for the shredded panties that laid on the floor as he pulled his clothes back on, awkwardly stumbling every time he moved. He grabbed his heels in one hand, quietly pulling the door open and glancing back at the slumbering Alpha. He couldn't leave like this. Izuku's going to think he used him. The blond sighed, pulling the delicate mask from his face and leaning over the bed to set it on the nightstand, but not before scenting the item profusely. He purred, reaching for one of the man's extra shirts and inhaling the musky scent with pride. His Alpha was perfect. Katsuki ran from the room with the stolen shirt in hand, quickly trying to make it back to his quarters before he was spotted in such a disheveled state. He must look like a wreck. A whore, even. He had only managed to catch a short glance at his appearance, but he knew there was hickeys and bruises littering his body, from his neck to his thighs, his hair frizzy and tangled. He wouldn't have it any other way, though.

He loved being covered in Izuku's marks, even if they were somewhat impractical, considering they meant he could hardly walk straight now. His Alpha was the perfect mix of rough and gentle, making sure Katsuki's needs were fulfilled before taking what he needed. He loved it. Katsuki shivered at the thought, the cold air wafting under his dress against his bare crotch as he bit back a whimper. It felt wrong to leave Izuku like this. It was against every instinct in his body to leave after mating, but he knew he had to. His small fingers pulled open his door, slipping inside the room and shutting it softly, leaning back against the door with a long sigh. Crimson eyes fell onto the shirt in his hand, happily bringing it up to his nose and breathing in the Alpha's scent once more. "Stupid Alpha... Makin' me all needy..." he whispered against the fabric, tossing his heels into the corner and sprawling out on the bed with a huff. The event wasn't for another two hours, so he lazily let himself bask in the pheromones invading his senses, smiling to himself. He couldn't wait to see Izuku again.

The prince stood shakily after a few long minutes, stripping out of his dress and slowly making his way to the attached bathroom to bathe and cover all of the dark marks littering his pale skin.

The Omega huffed at his mother as she cooed over his outfit, the male only wearing a simple button-up and jeans, heels adorning his small feet. He couldn't resist wearing the shirt he had stolen from Izuku, sinking down into his seat with a roll of his eyes. "Katsuki, dear," she said softly, grabbing his hand. "I know this competition wasn't how you wanted to find a mate, but you're nearing twenty without an Alpha! Maybe an Alpha will do you good, settle out that nasty attitude of yours!" She quipped, poking his cheek as he scowled, turning away. How dare she justify forcing her only son to bond with a complete stranger? He growled at her angrily, turning his attention towards the field as he ignored the ignorant nonsense spewing from her mouth. She took things too far.

He was well aware of her desire to have grandchildren, yet he never thought she'd go as far as to make him mate with any Alpha that could beat a few weaklings in a competition. His eyes drifted to the entrance of the stadium, heart beginning to race as a familiar face came into view. He was here. He blushed, looking down at his nails to distract himself, not wanting to get too worked up around his parents. Katsuki sighed when he looked back, the Alpha already walking away with his back turned.

The blond seethed while his mother presented him to the prying eyes of every single person in the arena, clicking his tongue and struggling against her hold, staring out at the Alpha's with a disgusted expression. How dare they look at him in a such a way? They had no right to do so. His Alpha would be furious when he found out. He was thankful when his mother finally allowed him to sit back down, adjusting his attire with a sharp glare towards the tall woman. Mitsuki smiled proudly at the growls that a few of the men competing released, Katsuki turning his head towards a specific person, biting his bottom lip and frowning once realizing the Alphas all wielded weapons. He swallowed hard, gripping the sleeves of his shirt tightly. He closed his eyes, the horn sounding and leaving a sickly feeling in his chest. Good luck, Alpha...
