Legend 22: Powerless
"What?! How dare he lie to the princess and Y/N and go to such an immoral place!" Kija shouted.
"I've lost my respect for him." Yoon agreed with the White Dragon.
"Now hold on. You guys need to listen to-" Hak began to speak in his aggravation.
"Kija, Yoon, don't say such things!" Y/N scolded the two males, causing Hak to smirk. "Even Hak has times when he wants to play with girls."
Hak growled lowly, before noticing two officers up ahead. Narrowing his eyes, Hak pushed the others into a narrow alleyway.
"We draw too much attention." Yoon sighed as soon as the officers were gone.
"By the way, is the Green Dragon in town?" Hak questioned as the group began to walk once again.
"Actually, his presence disappeared." Akio sighed.
"Umm..."
The group turned to see a girl. Y/N sighed loudly while Hak walked up to her.
"You're that girl from yesterday." He commented.
"Yes. Thank you for yesterday." Tetsuna smiled.
"It's dangerous for you to walk around here where the officers are." Y/N advised.
"I can't help it. I work around here, so..." Tetsuna drifted off.
Y/N and Hak sighed as they felt the others staring at them.
"Let's go talk somewhere more private." Hak said.
-Port Awa-Next Day-
"What?! You punched and kicked an officer?!" Yoon steamed.
"Basically. Though there was another passerby as well who kicked him." Y/N said in a nonchalant tone.
"Uh-huh. What a courageous passer-by." Yoon said in a tone that made Y/N feel like he didn't believe them.
"I was being extra careful." Hak defended.
"Uh-huh. Do the officers here do things that stupid in broad daylight?" Yoon questioned, looking at Tetsuna.
From what I had witnessed, yes. No one dared to even stand up to those bastards. Y/N thought angrily.
Tetsuna frowned and nodded. "Yes. They make a racket in stores, take girls that they want. All that we can do is try our best to not provoke them."
"Why?" Yona innocently asked.
"Yang Keum-ji, I'm guessing." Y/N sighed.
"Keum-ji?" Yoon questioned, tilting his head in confusion.
"I heard he's the lord of Awa. That everyone in this town is afraid of him." Hak said.
Y/N frowned as she stroked Ao's tiny head, while the tiny squirrel happily ate the food that Tetsuna had given to Y/N and the group.
"Y-Yes. Keum-ji has all the officers working for him. To do business, we are forced to pay unreasobaly high taxes to Keum-ji. There are also disturbing rumors in this town, but we can't do anything about it." The brown haired female explained.
"No wonder the people here lack spirit." Yona frowned.
"Really? I thought it was a very lively town." Kija said.
"It looks lively, but it looked like they were faking their smiles." Y/N sighed, crossing her arms over her chest.
"What about the pirates?" Yoon suddenly asked.
"Pirates?" Hak looked surprised.
"There was a boat anchored at the coast nearby. It'll be crime-filled if things like that are here." Yoon declared.
"No, they've never harmed the people here." Tetsuna smiled.
"Oh really?" Yoon looked surprised.
"True, they commandeer ships, but they commandeer Yang Keum-ji's ships."
Y/N sighed at the memory of what happened yesterday, though was interrupted by her thoughts when Akio leaned half of his body weight onto his twin.
"O-Oi!" Y/N growled.
"You seem out of it, N/N, what's the problem?" Akio questioned.
Y/N sighed softly, knowing that Akio was one of the only people who could read her so easily.
"I don't really know. I just feel like something terrible is about to occur."
Akio raised an eyebrow, before smiling softly and kissing the top of his sister's head.
"No need to worry, little sister, I'll be with you no matter what happens." He stated, causing Y/N to smile slightly.
"We left Shin-ah waiting alone again, so we have to find the Green Dragon fast." Yona commented.
"Well, he did seem awfully pitiful." Yoon grumbled, causing Y/N to nod in agreement.
"Akio, where's the Green Dragon?" Yona questioned.
"I think he's in this town, but he's very fast and won't hold still." Akio frowned.
You've got that right. Y/N frowned, remembering how high and far Jaeha could jump.
"Out of my way!" The group stopped as a vase was thrown through a window.
"Please, stop!" A woman's voice shouted.
"Shut up!" growled a man's voice.
Peering in through the broken window, Y/N just caught sight of an officer punching a man.
"W-what's going on?" Yona questioned.
"Looks like the officers are making a racket." Akio commented.
Y/N noticed a familiar fire that burned in Yona's eyes, and quickly grabbed onto Yona's shoulder as the young princess began to walk towards the building.
"No, Yona-hime." Y/N stated.
"But..." Yona pouted.
"We can take care of it." Kija stated.
"You draw too much attention. Stand back, I'll-"
"You too, Thunder Beast!" Yoon shouted at Hak.
The group then hid behind a nearby wall.
"Do you circus freaks understand your circumstances?" Yoon scolded.
"I heard rumors that Keum-ji's ship was sunk by the pirates yesterday." Yoon then told the group.
"So the officers are irritated." Y/N sighed, running her fingers through her (H/L) hair.
"I know how you all feel, but we need to stay quiet for now." Yoon told them.
Y/N sighed, though she knew that Yoon was right.
Placing a hand on Yona's shoulder, Y/N sent a small smile to the princess.
"See, they're gone now." Yoon said as the officers walked by.
"Let's go." Akio said, and the others nodded in agreement.
I can't believe we just did that. I just became a hypocrite. Y/N silently sulked at the thought of just acting like nothing had happened.
"Hey." Hak said, causing the others to pay attention to the male.
"I'm going to go this way with Y/N. Take care of Princess." Hak demanded, before rushing off with a confused Y/N in tow.
"Huh? Wait, Thunder Beast!" Yoon shouted.
The young boy then sighed. "I wonder what had gotten into him."
As the group began to walk away, they paused with what they saw.
Two Wanted posters dedicated to the two who had just left.

"Not beautiful! But I get it! I get what they're trying to say!" Jaeha laughed as he looked at the two terribly drawn 'Wanted' posters.
"Well, if he's wanted, that makes him easier to recruit." The green haired man smirked.
"Easier to recruit who?" Y/N asked, her arms crossed over her chest as she warily eyed Jaeha.
"Actually, I have no clue what his name is." Jaeha, who had not turned around just yet, admitted.
"How can you be laughing? Your sketch is also on the wanted poster." Hak stated in irritation.
"Defiantly not beautiful at all." Y/N grumbled, ripping off her wanted poster.
"It's you." Hak then told Jaeha, pointing at the poster right beside Y/N's ripped one.
"I can't hear you correctly." Jaeha faked a smile.
"It's you." Y/N repeated, also pointing at Jaeha's awfully drawn wanted poster.
"Ah..." Jaeha hesitated, before ripping off the poster and throwing it into a fire.
"Their eyes are rotten." Jaeha sulked in front of the fire.
"Agreed." Hak sulked right beside him.
"Oh, yeah! You!" Jaeha stared at Hak.
"Huh?" Y/N and Hak glanced at each other, before looking back at Jaeha.
"I almost forgot what I came for. I came to find you." Jaeha told Hak.
Gah, the bromance is strong here. Y/N thought as she eyed the two males warily.
"What? I'm not gonna go to that place anymore." Hak stated.
"No, no. I'm here today because I desire you." A bunch of sparkles surrounded Jaeha as he gripped onto Hak's hands.
"O-Oi! Stop that!" Y/N growled, noticing a lot of the people who had turned and began to whisper. She slapped Jaeha's hands away from Hak and then stood inbetween the two males. Her cheeks puffed out in a cute, childish pout.
At least in the two male's eyes.
"Aw, is Rini-chan jealous that someone else is taking up my time? No need to worry, you'll still have a big place in my heart." Jaeha smiled as he patted Y/N's head.
"But you see, you misunderstood me. I just thought that you're a handsome guy." Jaeha began, latching onto Hak while Y/N facepalmed.
"It's too crowded here, let's go to a more secluded area." Jaeha smiled
"What exactly are you planning to do at a more secluded place?!" Hak shouted.
"Quit it!" Y/N suddenly punched Jaeha's face.
Y/N and Hak then stared at the passed out male on the ground.
Crap, did I punch a little too hard? Y/N thought.
The two then watched in surprise as the green haired man suddenly got back up, smiling while blood dripped from his nose.
"Damned masochists." Y/N grumbled.
"That punch...I'm surprised that you have so much power, Rini-chan, and I have to admit that I'm a little aroused." Jaeha smirked.
"He's muttering nonsense, let's go." Hak suddenly grabbed Y/N's wrist again and pulled her with him as he ran away.
"Hak! Y/N!" Yona exclaimed, causing Hak to stop midrun, and to let go of Y/N's wrist.
"Princess, why are you here?" Hak questioned.
"Akio said he felt the Green Dragon's presence around here." Yoon answered.
"Though you probably already know more than me, Y/N." Akio whispered to the (H/C).
"I have no clue what you're talking about." Y/N bluntly responded.
"I will try over there!" Kija shouted, running in the direction that the two had just come from.
"Oh, hey!" Hak shouted.
"What were you both doing anyways?" Akio questioned.
"We were being chased by a pervert." Hak answered.
"A pervert?" Yuna asked.
"It's okay, you don't need to know." Y/N smiled.
"Of course it's something I need to know! Who's this pervert chasing my little sister?!" Akio growled, his usually cheerful aura suddenly a lot darker as a fire background came up behind him.
"Let's go, Princess." Hak said, pointing in the opposite direction that Kija had run.
"Ok." Yona agreed.
As the group kept walking, Yoon suddenly pointed to a Wanted board, which had the three's faces on it.
"You guys must've really ticked off those officers." Akio pointed out.
"Perhaps." Y/N growled, ripping off hers and Hak's posters.
"So that's the guy who helped you both." Yona hummed as she looked at Jaeha's poster.
"Right. Of course, we're not involved with that guy at all." Hak stated in a blunt tone.
"I'd like to meet him." Yona smiled.
"No you wouldn't." Y/N shook her head.
The group then froze when they heard crying.
"It's coming from that store." Y/N mumbled.
"Princess!" Akio called out as Yona began running in the direction of the store that they had come across earlier that morning.
As soon as Yona opened the door, the group stared in disbelief at the sight before them.
The man, who had been punched by one of the officers, was kneeled in front of a woman who was holding tightly onto a little boy, who's forehead was bleeding.
"Excuse us..." Akio whispered.
"He's not moving." The man said, causing everyone to tense up.
Y/N clenched her hands into fists, turning her gaze to look away from the boy.
Could...Could this event have changed if we had come to help?
"Our son rebelled against the officers, took a blow, and now....and now he won't move any more." The man began to weep.
Everyone stayed close to each other, Y/N instantly tugging onto Akio's sleeve as tears began to roll down her cheeks.
Yoon moved away from the others and knelt beside the little boy, placing two fingers onto the boy's wrist to check for a pulse, before shaking his head.
"Hak, what...What can I do to help these people?" Yona whispered to the Thunder Beast.
"Yona, right now, we can't be of any help." Yoon whispered.
"I know, Yoon. But I can't afford to just accept my helplessness." Yona stated. "Especially if this town has been steeped in evil since Father's era."
___Quick Time Skip___
"Sorry to make you wait, Hak." Yona said, tugging Y/N with her towards where they had last seen said man.
"Oh, who's this?" Y/N paled at the sight of the familiar pervert.
Y/N watched with an uninterested expression as she watched Jaeha kneel in front of Yona.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Hak questioned.
"Are you alright?" Yona asked, seeming worried for the unknown man.
Yona reached out and placed her hand on Jaeha's forehead. "You have a high fever." She said.
"Thank you, little lady. I'm fine now." Jaeha assured, sounding breathless.
"Green Dragon?" Yona muttered. "You're the Green Dragon, aren't you?" Yona questioned, bending down to Jaeha's kneeling height.
"How...?" Hak looked confused on how Yona knew.
"Somehow, I just think so. Am I wrong?" Yona asked.
"Afraid not." Y/N silently said with a sigh.
"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just a-" Jaeha began to speak, before being cut off.
"Princess! He is the Green Dragon!" Kija exclaimed as himself, Yoon, and Akio ran up from behind Jaeha.
Hak suddenly had Jaeha in a chokehold.
"You're just a...?"
"Green Dragon." Jaeha choked out.
Hak sighed and let go of Jaeha.
"So you're the Green Dragon. I didn't want anything to do with you anymore." Hak stated.
"Oh, you're the one from the wanted poster?" Yona asked in surprise.
"And the pervert that was chasing my little sister?" Akio growled, being held back by Kija and Yoon.
Mostly Kija.
"Hak told me about you and I wanted to meet you. I'm glad you're the Green Dragon." Yona smiled.
"I'm Yona. What's your name?" The red haired female introduced.
"Hello. My name is Jeaha. From the bottom of my heart, I didn't want to meet you."
"What!?" Now it was Y/N's turn to be held back.
"You knew I was coming?" Yona, ignoring Y/N's usual anger towards those who disgraded her, looked at Jaeha questioningly.
"I didn't know it'd be such a cute little girl, but I knew the White and Blue Dragon had been nearby recently." Jaeha admitted. "I've been thinking of a line to say if they brought their master to me. 'I don't plan on serving you. Please go away.'"
Y/N glared at Jaeha venomously. He was already on her 'to die' list for just being a pervert.
"I'm not their master. They're helping me with something right now." Yona said. "I've also come to ask for your help."
Jaeha smiled widely. "I'm delighted that a cute girl wants my help, but sorry. Unlike the White Dragon, I don't intend to live and die for the Crimson Dragon King." Jaeha declared. "I'll choose who I want to protect as well as where I want to die. So I won't be helping you, little lady."
"Jaeha, you don't have to be so intimidating." Yona stated, surprising the Green Dragon, as well as Y/N. "Okay. I'll give up on you." It was now the other's turns to be surprised.
"Princess!" Kija, Akio, and Y/N exclaimed.
"I am only asking, not ordering him to help." Yona smiled.
"You're quick to give up." Jaeha analyzed.
"It wouldn't be indignified to be unreasonable when you've made it very clear." Yona explained. "But I am really disappointed!" Yona exclaimed, causing Y/N to look amused.
"I find it hard to pull myself away from the Dragons. I wonder why?" The red head muttered to herself.
"I'm disappointed, too. It's been a while since I've seen a cutie like you." Jaeha grinned, and it took every ounce of Y/N not to hit the green haired pervert.
"As well, I wanted to bring him into our group." Jaeha added, staring at Hak.
"It's indignified to be unreasonable." Hak stated, repeating Yona's words.
"'Him', as in Hak?" Yona asked.
"He's a pirate. He keeps bothering me to see their captain." Hak explained to the young princess.
"You're so cold." Jaeha smiled.
"A pirate?" Yona silently repeated, before looking at Jaeha seriously. "I'd like to meet with your captain for a talk." She stated.
"Why? Are you giving us Hak?" Jaeha smirked.
"As if." Y/N scoffed.
"No, I'm not." Yona shook her head immediately.
"Your fight is with Awa's lord, Yang Keum-ji, right?"
Y/N's eyes narrowed, suddenly realizing what Yona was getting at.
"I don't like what you're thinking at all, Yona-hime." Y/N scowled.
Yona sent the female a sad smile, before putting her attention back onto Jaeha. "I saw a child get killed by the officers. I still tremble with anger when I think about it. Anger towards the officers, Yang Keum-ji, and my powerless self." Yona admitted, causing everyone to stare at her in surprise.
"I don't want to see another child inhumanely killed!" Yona declared.
"Putting aside whether we'll ask for your help or not, if you're bringing Hak, I'll arrange for a meeting." Jaeha said. "Come to our ship tomorrow." The green haired man said, beginning to walk away from the group.
