“Taehyung!” I jerked back as Jimin swung into my view.

“Jimin. What are you doing here?”

“I work for Sir Kim.” He said, laughing nervously. “I guess it’s okay to tell you now. I’m part of his underground dealings, though, but I still technically work for Blue Lily’s.”

“Idiot.” I said flatly.

“Hey! Come on, now I can finally be honest to you about it.”

“And who’s fault is it that I’m here now?” I scolded, poking him in the chest. He held up his hands. “That’s what I thought, you jerk. Where’s my brother?”

“He’s in there.” Jimin suddenly grew serious. “I don’t know what happened, but don’t hit me when I say I’ve waited for this for awhile.”

“Come on.” I followed him into a large room. I pushed past all of the, who I assumed to be, guards and pushed my way to the front. Taemin was tied, his hands suspended above him, and a muffle around his mouth.

He didn’t exactly look hurt. Yet. He saw me slip from between the men and his eyes widened. Then they hardened and the look he gave me was pure hatred. I met his look with one of my own. Being around these men...they made me feel like I could face him.

“I see you’ve finally come.” Jungkook said, stepping beside me. Jimin walked up to Taemin and ripped his muffle off.

“Hey asshole.” He Said. “Long time no see.”

“Jimin, you still hanging around the reject?” Jimin punched him.

“That’s enough, Jimin.” Jungkook said calmly. “Don’t let your emotions get the best of you.” Jimin stepped back and Jungkook stepped forward this time. He turned to his men, however. “You’re all dismissed. Thank you for bringing him to us.” Everyone except for Jin, me, Jungkook, and Jimin left. It was just us and Taemin.

“So, you are Taemin.”

“We’ve met at least three times before.”

“Never like this. Perhaps I am now seeing your true character. And it is very disappointing.” Taemin turned and looked at me.

“Are you going to help me?” He asked.

“Don’t talk to someone else when I’m trying to have a conversation with you.” Jungkook said.

“Taehyung.” Taemin said flatly. I walked up to him and looked at him in the eye.

“No, I won’t be helping you, Taemin. Help yourself, like you always do.”

“So you think you can man up now that I’m tied?”

“Maybe. Maybe not.” I stepped in front of Jungkook. “But it’s your own fault that your in this position.”

“It’s your fault for being alive.” I caught Jimin's hand as he tried to punch Taemin again.

“Sorry, Jimin, but I can’t let you do that.” I said slowly. I never took my eyes off of my brother. “Taemin, do you know how many years it’s been, since mother and father died?”

“Sixteen.”

“And do you know when you were adopted?”

“Why are you asking all these useless questions?”

I switched to Russian, because these words were for him, and him alone. “I used to think that you loved me. It’s now apparent that you hold no love for anybody except yourself in this world. But I deluded myself because you were the only family that I had left. I let you take everything from me, every chance of happiness, and every memory I should have regarded with joy.

“All you have given me is emptiness and a meaningless life. I probably would’ve killed myself if I didn’t think that you would be sad. But now I realize that not a single tear would have been shed, and I doubt you would have even blinked, even thought about it. I mean nothing to you, other than a means of pleasure for yourself.”

“Then why don’t you kill yourself? Nobody would miss you. And you’re right, I wouldn’t even blink.”

“Which is why today, I’m not going to be your bitch anymore.”

“You think that you can walk away from me?” He sneered.

“No, I can’t. I know for a fact that if you walked away here alive today, I would crawl back to you like the pitiful excuse of a man that I am because at least when I’m with you, I can’t feel anything. I’m just a shell to you and to myself when I’m around you. Taehyung doesn’t exist in our world.”

“You’re fucking mad.”

“Perhaps.” I reached up and untied him slowly. “But I intend to settle this today. One of us will not walk away today.”

“Are you so ready to die?”

“If that is what it takes to be released from you, then yes, I am prepared to die.” I stepped away and he rubbed his wrists.

I turned to Jin. He nodded slowly in understanding. I then turned back to Taemin. “Just you and me.”

“None of your friends will kill me?”

“That is my last request of them. It will be the last thing I ever give to you.”

“So be it.” He smirked.

Next, I turned to Jungkook. “I would like to be alone with Taemin.” I whispered. “It seems that we need to exchange some more words.”

“Of course.” Jungkook and Jimin were the first to step out. Jin turned just as he left and dropped a gun, kicking it past me and over to Taemin. I closed the door behind him and locked it.

I turned, and Taemin already had the gun pointed at me. “Time to die, bitch.” I jerked right and charged him before he could even pull the trigger. It surprised him. I barreled into him and the gun flew out of his grasp.

I punched him in the face and he stumbled back. He growled and charged, hitting me in the abdomen. I went flying backwards and he pinned me, sending two punches to my face, before I brought my knee up and knocked him away.

I rolled to my feet, staggering slightly from the force of his fists. I dodged his next punch and kicked out, sending him down. He caught my foot as I prepared to kick him again and I landed hard on my back as I went down.

I grunted and we both got to our feet quickly. Taemin turned and ran for the gun. I ran after him and he picked it up, whirling around, just as I reached him. I hit the gun, sending it away from his hand and punched his face again. Then I hit his stomach and he doubled over. I kneed him and put an elbow to his back.

I was surprised he could still move. He grabbed my waist and pushed me back. I hit the door, the doorknob biting painfully into my back. I gasped and elbowed his back again.

“Taehyung!” The doorknob rattled and I winced as it moved, wrenching my back painfully.

“I’m fine, Jungkook.” I hissed through the door.

“Open the door you idiot.”

“Sorry, Jimin, I can’t do that.” I kneed Taemin again and sent him off of me. I’d have to get this over with, sooner rather than later. Something suddenly hit the door.

I landed a punch on Taemin's temple and he stumbled back. I dived for the fallen gun and scrambled away. He held up his hands. “You don’t have the guts to do it.” He smirked.

“Goodbye, Brother.”
