awes and yaaaaassss
Dean rubbed his neck, "That's good because... I really-um like you-a-a lot..." He chuckled at his nervousness. Dean was having all these mixed feelings for the young boy. Saved by the moment, a woman walks in.
"Hiya Dean! Sam told me you'd be here with- oh my.. who is this handsome man?" Ellen strode over to Castiel, pinching his cheeks.
"That there is Castiel." Dean introduced his "friend."
"Nice to meet you." Ellen smiled kindly at him. She turned to Dean and whispered- loudly- "Is he human?"
"Yes." Dean whispered back. He explained his situation to Ellen.
Ellen nodded sympathetically. "How long's it been since you had a decent bite to eat, Castiel?" She asked. Castiel frowned.
"Honestly it's been months. My mom was always a bad cook and my dad was always away for work." Castiel said lowly. Ellen put a hand on his shoulder. Castiel looked at her.
"Well you better get used to my cooking because-well since you're staying with us- you're going to be having a variety of foods." Ellen announced, shaking his shoulders. "Just think of it." Castiel had a weirded out look on his face and he looked at Dean for help.
Dean cleared his throat and got closer to Castiel. "Don't scare the newcomer, Ellen." He smiled softly but his words were genuine. Ellen chuckled and took her hands off Castiel.
"Alright, I should get started on dinner. How about you show Cas around?" Ellen said with a smile before heading out of the cave. Dean realized they'd essentially been set up for a date.
