After lunch, Vergil was, reluctantly, put down for a nap. Dante gave him a spoonful of medicine and a spritz of the throat medicine and put him in a clean diaper, which Vergil bit him for. But that resulted in a swat. While Vergil was sleeping, Dante got a call about some demon lurking around nearby. He called Kenton and Castiel to watch Vergil and left immediately after they arrived.

Kenton walked over to Vergil's crib and looked down at him, saying quietly to to Castiel "Okay, you know what to do." Castiel placed his hand over the young cambion's eyes and a bright red glow  emanated from his hand. After a few seconds he pulled his hand away and said "There. When he wakes up he'll be in for a surprise." He said it louder than he meant to and woke up Vergil, who sat up and yawned. He looked at Kenton and Castiel and smiled lightly, but then his eyes went wide and he said "I can see!" he could talk again but his voice was hoarse and raspy. The two teenage boys smiled. It worked.

Dante told them that Vergil had lost his sight and wouldn't be able to see for a couple of days. Castiel was able to restore Vergil's sight from his abilities. Though he ain't an angel, he's a demon, a full fledged demon, Kenton is too, but they aren't evil. Castiel has healing abilities and though Kenton has no powers, he's very strong. In his true form, he is horrifying looking but he is the strongest then.

Castiel patted Vergil's head and said "You must have recovered quickly." Kenton picked up Vergil and said "Let's play a game. Do you know how to play twenty questions?" Vergil knew how to play but he feigned the ignorant 2-year-old act and said "No, what's what?" Castiel smiled and said "You need at least two players. One player picks a person, place, or thing and the other players have 20 questions each to figure out who or what you are. They can only ask yes or no questions." Vergil bounced in Kenton's arms and said "Lets play! Lets Play!" Kenton set Vergil on the floor and sat down next to him while Castiel sat across from them and said "Okay, little guy, you can go first." 

Vergil had trouble thinking of something a 2-year-old would pick. He suddenly got an idea and said "Okay, go." Before Castiel or Kenton could ask anything, two Finis Demons appeared and a rather attractive male demon appeared and said "Hand over the baby, if you don't I'll have my minions slaughter you." Castiel immediately picked up Vergil and held him protectively, Kenton pushed the two behind him and in an instant he was in his is grotesque form. Needle like teeth protruded from his snout, he had hollow black eyes and dark, scaly, green skin, jagged clawed hands and feet, black horns as sharp as knives, spiked tattered grey wings, and a tail with what looked like the head of a flail on the end. 

kenton immediately swished around his tail and shattered the first Finis Demon. He then swished back around and lunged towards the other Finis Demon but quickly, as element of surprise, attacked the male demon. He grabbed his arms and tore them off, He was completely surprised, he wasn't expecting to him to attack him. The attractive male demon staggered and said "This... is... not... OVER!" He disappeared into a silvery mist, the Finis Demon disappearing too.

Kenton morphed back to human and turned to Vergil, who was covering his eyes and trembling. He reached out to grabbed the baby half breed but Vergil immediately bit him and cried "Get away from me!" Kenton watched as his wound healed almost immediately. He turned his attention to Vergil and said "Calm down, I'm not going to hurt you. If I wanted to I would have done it as soon as I met you."
"Me and Kenton are good guys. I'm a demon too, I was the one who gave you your vision back." Vergil didn't say anything, he was terrified after watching a demon get both his arms ripped off. Castiel rubbed the young Cambion's back and said to Kenton "Never mind him, we have to get rid of the remains of the Finis Demon before Dante gets back. Who know what he'll do to us."

Kenton was silent for a second, more concerned with calming down Vergil than cleaning up the mess. After a moment he nodded and said "You're right. We need to get rid of these, and fast. And we have to do something about the blood." Just then Dante walked into the room and said "And exactly what the hell went on here?" Vergil turned his head towards his brother and reached for him, crying out "Dante!" Dante immediately went over and took his little brother into his arms. Vergil buried his face in Dante's chest and started shaking like a leaf, causing the older hybrid to draw Ebony and say "What the hell happened and what did you do to my brother?"

Castiel immediately hid behind Kenton, he may be a demon but he is a weak one and the only powers he has are ones that would be no use against Dante.
"We didn't do anything, we swear! We saved him!" Castiel said, Kenton nodded and said "Yeah, these demons appeared and they wanted Vergil. I killed one demon, but the other two got away, and one said it wasn't over, meaning he would be back. We swear we didn't hurt him. In fact, Cass gave him his vision back." Dante kept his gun pointed at Kenton's head and said "How do you explain all the blood? It looks like some got slaughtered in here."

Kenton was silent, not wanting to explain that he ripped off the demons arms in front of Vergil.
"Uh..." Kenton rubbed the back of his neck nervously before saying "I, uh, ripped one of the demon's arms off..." Dante glared and sighed, not sure how to react. They saved Vergil and gave him his vision back but now the poor baby is probably traumatized. Dante holstered his gun and said "Though you guys saved him, you owe him big time, he's only two and he watched you rip a demon's arms off." Kenton and Castiel nodded, but then Cass got an idea. He stepped out from behind his friend and said "I could erase his memory, just the part with the demons."

"And how can you do that?" Dante asked. Castiel and Kenton looked at each other before they morphed into their demon forms. Kenton into his grotesque form and Castiel into a form that is rather soothing to look at. His skin was like smooth obsidian, he wore a mask that was the color of Celeste blue, his claws were long and smooth and the color of oxford blue, his wings were ebony colored, and unlike Kenton's, they were perfect. They looked like they were made of silk, though they were much stronger than silk. They were as strong as Graphene. His hair was crystal white locks that hung like curtains of silk around his knees. Vergil was completely shocked, he found it hard to tear his eyes away from Castiel.

"We're demons, but we're good guys. Otherwise we would have either killed Vergil or let the demons take him." Kenton said, his voice was completely unexpected. It sounded sweet but eerie. Vergil was expecting his voice to be like nails on a chalk bored. Dante looked down at his brother, he was still shaking horribly. He looked over at Castiel and said "So you can erase his memory?" When Cass nodded, Kenton said "He can't speak in this form, his mask prevents him from doing so."
"Well why does he wear the mask?"
"Because his kind is faceless, they wear masks so they can see. Though, they aren't entirely faceless."
"What do you mean by that?"
"They do have mouths, though they still can't speak, they're just for hunting. When ever his kind get hungry, they take off their masks and hunt. They use sonar to find their prey. Once found, the skin on their face rips to reveal a mouth filled with multiple sharp teethe the size of thorns. It's really the only thing terrifying about his kind." Dante looked at Cass for a second before saying "Wipe his memory, I don't want him to remember any of this."

Castiel glided over, which is when Dante noticed his feet wasn't touching the floor and he was floating. He reached out to touch Vergil's forehead but the baby half breed flinched away and buried his face in Dante's shoulder. Cass quickly placed his hand on top of Vergil's head and used his powers to put him to sleep. When Vergil went limp, Dante was about to draw one of his guns but Kenton immediately said "He's just sleeping."  Cass grabbed Vergil head and gently turned it to face him. He gently placed his hand on the baby cambion's forehead and started to work his magic.

Castiel removed his hand a few second later and Kenton said "He should wake up in an hour. And from the way he regained his color, it seems like Cass cured him of his sickness." Dante quietly thanked them and carefully tucked Vergil into his crib. He turned towards the two demons and said "Thanks for saving my brother, but don't ever turn into those forms around him again. If anything like what happened from earlier happens again, you better wipe his memory." Castiel and Kenton morphed back to human and said "Got it." Dante handed them their pay and they left.

The older hybrid looked down at his little brother and hoped Cass really did erase the awful memory.
