Chapter 11.

Dante banged on Kenton's door, screaming "Kenton! Get your ass out here!" Dante watched as a light upstairs turned on. He saw a silhouette getting dressed, then another suddenly sat up into view.
"Who is it?"
"It's Dante, he's here and he's pissed. I think we both better get down there. I mean, he killed Mundas, who knows what he'll do to us.."
"Oh shit... okay, I'll get dressed." The voices stopped and the second silhouette got dressed too. Dante sighed in annoyance as he waited for the boys.

The door opened and Castiel and Kenton stood before him, both of them with a different hair color. Dante was about to question the purple but went against it and said: "Get your guys' ass ready, we're going to hell."
"Wait, what?  Kenton and I aren't welcome there!" Castiel said in protest, Dante glared at him and said "Neither am I, but my little brother has been taken to hell, and I'm gonna get him back and you two are gonna help me. You guys owe Vergil and now you are gonna make things right by helping me save him." Castiel looked at Kenton, who nodded and stepped outside.
"It's easy for you guys. You two can actually defend yourself. My kind can't do shit to protect ourselves." Castiel said in a pissy tone.

Dante sighed and said "I heard you two upstairs. I DID kill Mundas, and if I can kill him I'm sure I can protect your ass." Castiel sighed and said "Fine, let's go."

Vergil didn't sleep, instead, he silently cried until he had run out of tears. He then just looked out the window at the blood red sky. After the hour was up and the demon came back in the room, Vergil had given up hope that Dante was coming to save him. Vergil sat up in his crib, hugging the white wolf tightly to his chest. The demon smiled and said "I see you're up, but you don't look to well. Maybe if you ate something good you'd feel better." The young cambion was picked up out of his crib and carried out into a big hallway. The place had an eerie feel to it. As Vergil was led to a dining room, he could tell that by judging all the halls and some rooms he had passed through, he must have been in some kind of mansion. The whole thing had a Victorian style look to it.

"Who are you?" Vergil asked quietly. The demon just smiled slightly and said: "I'm Abigor. But you will call me dad." Vergil went quiet as he was placed in a high chair. A demon that resembled Castiel in his true form entered the room and set a plate on the tray to the baby half-breed's high chair. There were rare pieces of meat that resembled steak and some tater tots. Vergil whimpered, the sight of food is making him sick.
"Come on, I went to your world to get this food for you. And moose steak is not easy to get, and it's healthier for you than a regular steak." Abigor said. Vergil didn't want to know what Abigor would do to him if he didn't eat so he reluctantly started to eat.

The moose steak was good, it tasted so much better than a regular steak. Though Vergil was enjoying his meal, he still felt like he would throw everything up. He was able to finish the steak but he didn't finish the tater tots, they were horribly dry. He rubbed his tummy and whimpered, it hurt. Abigor picked up his captive son and said: "I got something that would help with your upset tummy." He carried Vergil to a bathroom just a little bigger than small and opened a medicine cabinet. He grabbed a bottle of Pepto Bismal and removed the cap, holding the bottle to the baby cambion's lips. Vergil was scared that Abigor might have poisoned it, he doesn't trust him. Though because he has the body of a 2-year-old, doesn't mean he has the mind of one. Because of this, he had come up with a perfect plan to escape.

"I need to throw up. I don't like people in the room with me when I throw up. Can you get me something warmer to wear?" Vergil asked in a voice laced with fake but believable pain.  Abigor smiled lightly and said, "Of course." He set Vergil down and left the room, leaving the door ajar. Vergil quietly ran to the door, peeking into the halls. Once Abigor turned down the hall, Vergil quickly bolted out the door and ran down the hall, his tiny feet barely making a noise against the tiled floor.

The baby hybrid knew he wouldn't be able to escape as easily as running through the halls and out the door. There are demons everywhere, he saw them as Abigor took him to the dining room and bathroom. Vergil would have to do a lot of hiding and waiting for the next move. He hid under a small table holding varieties of beautiful yet creepy flowers. He didn't see or hear anyone and went running again, but halfway down the hall, he heard Abigor scream "Vergil! Everyone, get in here!" Vergil was right by stairs that led to the upstairs. It was the kind of stairs that turned into a balcony that looked over the downstairs. Becuase of this, there is room to hide underneath.

Vergil ran behind the stairs and under them. He noticed that there was a small space under the second step. It was pretty dark there too. Vergil wasn't sure if he should hide there, thinking that if he was to hide there he might not be able to get out. When he heard demons coming, he immediately thought 'Screw it.' and crawled under the second step and was surprised to find that he fit perfectly with a little room left.
"Find Vergil! Do not let him escape! Don't kill him and don't hurt him! Cause once we find him I'm gonna bruise his little butt." Abigor called out to all his demons. Vergil whimpered and immediately got out from under the stairs and ran down the hall, running aimlessly for a way to escape.

He saw an open door and ran through it, bringing him into the kitchen that was rich with the smell of freshly baked brownies. He saw another open door leading to the outside. But before he could take a step further the baby cambion was picked up from behind, causing him to screech.
"I found you, you little demon." Vergil whimpered when he recognized the voice as Abigor's. Vergil needed to come up with an excuse and quickly, and being the little genius he is, he immediately had one.

Vergil whimpered and said, "I smelled brownies and I wanted some. I love brownies." Abigor smiled lightly in relief and amusement.
"You should have just asked, you can't go running around in here, you'd get lost. And a lot of my servants here don't like humans or human-demon hybrids. If I hadn't just announced to them not to hurt you, I'm sure they would do much worse than kill you. Especially because not all of them were told of your arrival, they would think of you as a trespasser." Vergil looked at the brownies while Abigor was talking, if he's going to play an act then he is going to play it right. The excuse was that he ran off because he wanted brownies, and he's going to make it believable otherwise he could get in major trouble.

Abigor smiled more and settled the baby hybrid on his hip, walking over to the counter and cutting a nice square of brownie for Vergil. Vergil immediately took it and took a big bite, and judging by the look on Abigor's face, he was believing every second if it. The young half-breed quickly finished the brownie and said "Thank you. Can I have another?" Abigor shook his head and said "You can later. Now you need another nap. You weren't feeling well a little bit ago so I want you to get some rest." Vergil nodded and yawned a real yawn. After all the running he did, his little body was exhausted. In fear he would still get spanked for running off, Vergil played the cute act by resting his head on Abigor's shoulder and fisting his shirt, which worked wonders on the demon.

"Aw, sleepy baby." As Abigor carried Vergil to his nursery, something snapped in the young cambion and he started crying and hitting Abigor. The demon held Vergil out in front of him so he wouldn't get hit anymore.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?" Abigor asked, worried. Vergil was perfect a moment ago and now he's acting like Abigor had hurt him.
"I want my wolf!" Vergil screamed at the top of his lungs. Abigor didn't like how Vergil screamed but he let it pass. A few hours ago he was in the human realm with his big brother, now he's in hell with demons surrounding him. He's so used to living with humans, not demons. Plus he had just arrived. The wolf must be his source of comfort.

Abigor held Vergil close and restrained him, saying soothingly "It's okay, you left your wolf in the dinning room, we'll go get him right now." Abigor rushed back to the dining room with Vergil still wailing. He saw the stuffed animal sitting in the baby nephalem's  high chair. The demon grabbed it and immediately placed it in Vergil's arms. The baby cambion buried his face in the wolf's fur and immediately calmed down. Abigor sighed in relief and carried Vergil to the nursery.

Vergil was almost asleep when he arrived at the nursery.
"Do you need to be changed?" Abigor asked the baby half-breed, who just yawned in response. The demon checked Vergil's diaper, surprised when he found it wet. He hasn't given him anything to drink, how could he be wet? Whatever, it didn't bother Abigor as he changed the young hybrid. Now that he's thinking about it, maybe he should give Vergil something to drink. He did a lot of running to get to the kitchen, and to his little body, it was the equivalent of running a mile.

Abigor set Vergil in his crib and said: "Don't fall asleep just yet, I'm gonna get you something to drink." As soon as the demon left the room, Vergil looked at his wolf, wondering why he snapped all because he forgot it in the dining room. He looked into the glass eyes and realized why. The wolf's fur was the same color of Dante's hair, the eyes were the same color too. The wolf reminded Vergil of Dante and it brought him comfort, especially since he will never see him again. Tears burned in his eyes, trying so hard to control his emotion. He rubbed the wolf's head and said "I miss you, Dante. Please, take me away from here." He looked at the blood red sky of Hell and whimpered.

When Abigor came back in the room holding a bottle filled with a yellowish-orange liquid, Vergil forced his tears back and put back on his tired face. Abigor picked up Vergil and held him in one arm while supporting his head, he put the rubber teat of the bottle in the baby nephalem's mouth and let him drink, and he did, but slowly. Vergil felt terribly sick, knowing he'll be stuck here forever. Dante would have rescued him by now. Maybe, after everything he has done to him, Dante doesn't want him back and will let the demon keep him. Vergil spat the teat out of his mouth and started crying again. Abigor thought that Vergil was feeling sick again so he held him with the baby's head over his shoulder and started to pat his back.

With the combination of fear, the feeling of abandonment, and hard crying, Vergil threw up all over Abigor's back. The demon wasn't angry or upset, he expected this. Vergil wasn't feeling well earlier so he thought he was sick. Abigor quickly but calmly walked into the bathroom connected to Vergil's nursery and held the baby up to the toilet. Vergil completely emptied his stomach and kept crying. Abigor had taken off his shirt and called for a servant to clean it, and once it was taken away, he called for another servant and told him to go the human realm and get some Powerade. Vergil hadn't drunk anything since he arrived, he ran a long time for his little body, and now he's throwing up, he needs the electrolytes in the Powerade.
"I know you can handle the Powerade, it's good for you when you're sick. You should be able to keep it down." Abigor said to Vergil as he brought him back into the nursery. Vergil just ignored him and wiped at the tears that were relentlessly streaming down his cheeks.

~

Castiel shivered in fear, not liking this at all. He hasn't seen the blood-red sky of hell in a long time. He looked down at the dead grass and sighed, hoping he would survive this ordeal. Kenton morphed into his demon form and Cass did the same.
"We need to find Vergil without looking like we don't belong here," Kenton said in his sweet and eerie voice.
"How do we do that?" Dante asked, wanting to just hack and slash his way through hell to find his baby brother.
"We need to make you look like a prisoner, someone dragged here against their will," Kenton said. As soon as he got done speaking, he clawed Dante's right leg, tearing his jeans and flesh. Blood dripped from the gashes, Dante gritted his teeth but allowed Kenton to do it. He slashed Dante's back and tore the trench coat. The ripped clothes and blood stains would show that Dante had lost in a fight against demons and he was taken here to be either tortured or killed.

After slashing at Dante a few more times, Kenton smiled and said: "Now we just need one more mark." Dante sighed in relief, the pain wasn't bothering him, nor that his favorite coat was now ragged and torn, no, he would bare it if it meant he could get Vergil back. And after the last mark, they can rescue him. He was waiting for Kenton to slash at him again but it never came, instead, Cass took off his mask. Dante watched as the flesh where his mouth should be started tearing to form one. Inside were tons of tiny, thorn-like teeth, just like Kenton said. Castiel lunged forward and bit Dante roughly on the shoulder. Dante bit back a cry of pain, he had to endure this. He had to, for Vergil. Cass tore a chunk of the coat off and put his mask back on.

"Are we done?" Dante asked after a moment, Kenton and Castiel nodded. Dante smiled and dropped to his knees, holding his arms out for the two demons to drag him, saying "Well, let's make this act convincing." Kenton grabbed one arm and said, "We just need to figure out where Vergil is." Castiel grabbed Dante's other arm after pointing in the direction they should go. Kenton smiled at his friend and said "Saving the little guy should be easy since you know where to go."

They dragged Dante, who was pretending to be unconscious, through the streets of hell. Castiel was glad his kind doesn't have eyes and the mask doesn't allow him to cry. He knows where to go because he knows that Abigor took Vergil. And he knows where Abigor lives because he was raised by him. Kenton's kind hates Castiel and his people. Most of them were good, pure. They were actually sent here to protect the captives sent here. The demons had attacked Castiel and his family. They killed his mom, dad, and older sister and left him to die in a patch of rotting flowers. He was only a baby then. Abigor found him and took him in, raised him as his own. He had given Cass the ability to morph into a human.

Cass was happy, but then he and Abigor got separated during a rebellion. Kenton's mother had found Cass wandering the streets of hell, crying and calling out for his dad. She thought he had been killed and snatched him up, taking him to the human realm with her son, Kenton so they could live in peace. She had found a good woman to take care of Cass, her husband not wanting to keep the demon. Cass has lived the rest of his life in the human realm, never seeing Abigor again. Well, now they'll meet again. Though they already did. It hurt Cass to see that his father did not recognize him

"Please, don't kill him." Cass mentally begged to Kenton and Dante.
