I just went through the weirdest experience of my life. At the shopping centre, everyone who looked at me gave me really cold looks. Their eyes glared at me in a way that gave me chills I can't explain. Their eyes were all the same shade of icy blue, the pupil in the centre so small I could barely even see it.

Then, after a while of this had passed, the black in their eyes was nowhere to be seen. Then neither was the white. I started to struggle breathing and walking, so frightened that someone was going to take me away from my mother.

I clung close to my mum. However, as soon as we entered a packed shop full of these supernatural people, I could see her getting scared as well, though she had told me to be calm a second before.

Her arm brushed against a man with hair to match his strange eyes, and just like that, she grew fangs. Her nails became claws. The pupil in her eye grew bigger and bigger until it filled the whole thing. She grabbed me by the throat and pushed me up against the wall, getting closer and closer until there was no space between us. Her hair turned black, her skin white. This was not who I thought my mother was.

'We will find you.'

She hissed the words in my ear, and they echoed around my head. They wouldn't leave me alone. I let out a scream. It seemed to set off the rest of those monsters.

They were grabbing at me, almost tearing me apart, whispering the same four words in my head as if it was all they knew. We will find you.

They were pushing up against me. I didn't have the strength to hold them back. Slowly, they suffocated me. My breath, my life, my everything. They took it all...

The darkness became light. My eyes opened to my bedroom, familiar and warming to my heart. I stood in front of my mirror, and saw icy blue eyes looking back at me.

We will find you.

We will get you.

We will kill you.

We are coming for you.

We can see you.
