The next morning, Aubrie had made sure Nevaeh woke up bright and early so they could get a head start on their day.

     "Why can't we just look around Madrid a little? I'm still too tired for a long ride," Nevaeh sat up in the bed they shared and complained. Usually she was the one to beg to leave Madrid in fear of Madridistas, but she never took a chance to really appreciate how beautiful the city was.

     "I see right through you, Vaeh. You only wanna stay in hopes of finding Jude," Aubrie smirked, a 'told you so' look on her face. She sat up aswell, saying, "If you get ready fast enough we can spend a little time here."

     Nevaeh giggled, "Thank you, Brie."

"Yeah. Who could say no to this cute face anyway?" Aubrie pinched one of Nevaeh's cheeks. There really would be no friendship like theirs.

After getting ready, girls had decided to go to a café for breakfast. They had called another Uber (luckily wasn't Jay, but a very nice and pretty woman) and rightfully paid her, with an additional five dollar tip. Arriving at the café, Aubrie had directed Nevaeh to get them a table while she ordered. Vaeh texted her best friend what she wanted while she scrutinized the place for an empty table. But what her eyes landed on was definitely a full table.

     The man's eyes had met hers, and they remained like that for a few seconds. No fucking way, she thought.

     He stood up, walking over to her. "Told you I was on my way."

     Nevaeh just stared into his eyes, unsure of what to say.

     "Cat got your tongue?"

     "Sorry, I just... wasn't expecting you. What have you been up to, stalker?" Nevaeh played it off cooly, adding a smile.

     Jude returned the smile saying, "Vibing."

     "I see I've taught you a new word," Nevaeh boasted, clearly proud of herself. She still couldn't believe that Jude Bellingham, the boy she had been jokingly flirting with through Instagram comments, had found her before she even had a chance to look for him.

     "Use it daily," he replied. "What have you been up to, Lady Barcelona?" His eyes didn't move from her, and for the first time in her life, she was actually nervous around a boy. With Gio, it was easy. He was plain and simple, his whole personality laid out on a platter. But Jude was different. He was bold, no doubt. He was very.. flirty in her and Aubrie's comment sections, and just his prescense honestly scared her. She didn't know how to act around him, and she sometimes had Aubrie reply to his comments because of how anxious she was when it came to him.

"Vibing," she copied his answer, unsure of what to say. "What are you even doing here?"

"It's a café, Nevaeh, I'm getting breakfast like literally everyone in here," he joked. "You're so American."

Nevaeh rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. "Okay, I was just trying to make conversation, you didn't have to get all literal on me."

"Vaeh?" a different voice, Aubrie's, called out to her. She walked up to the pair, holding two cups of coffee. "I ordered our food."

"Brie.. this is, um, Jude as you know," Nevaeh introduced the two. "And Jude, this is my best friend Aubrie."

Aubrie handed Nevaeh her drink before cautiously shaking Jude's hand. That didn't stop her from giving him a dirty look, though. "Nice to meet you."

"You too," he smiled warily, taking note of the look she had just given him. "Um, well I'll leave you to it. Nice seeing you, Nevaeh, seriously."

Before he could walk away, Nevaeh grabbed his arm. "Wait." He looked down at her hand, then back up at her. "Since I'm here, you might as well ask me for my number, Bellingham." She had removed her free hand from him by now, using it to grab her phone.

He beamed again, immediately taking his own cellphone out. They exchanged contact information, while Aubrie just stood there, silently judging Jude. "Cool," he said.

"Okay, great. I'm sure I'll be seeing more of you soon, stalker," she retrieved her phone from him.

"You too, Lady Barcelona." He walked back to his table while Aubrie dragged Nevaeh in the opposite direction to a different table.

She rolled her eyes saying, "I told you to find us a table, not eye-fuck Jude Bellingham."

"In my defense, you did say yes after I had begged you to let us stay for a bit. And you already knew what I was up to anyway," Nevaeh replied as they reached their table. She set her coffee down then sat across from her best friend.

"Whatever, just wait 'till Gavi finds out. Did you two plan that, the little meet-cute?"

"Of course not. I didn't seriously expect him to just be around," Nevaeh told her honestly.

Ding! Her phone vibrated, letting her aware that she had just received a message. Aubrie raised a brow asking, "That's him, isn't it?"

Nevaeh looked at her phone, smiling before replying, "Yeah."
