Chapter 2

(This chapter was partially inspired by something I saw online)

Nico and Thalia were nervous. They appreciated the fact that Sally invited them over for dinner, but they didn't think they could eat a whole meal together, with Percy, and not blow anything up.

They would try though. They didn't want to make Sally regret inviting them over.

They were shaken out of their thoughts by the sound of their cousin laughing. Thalia turned and glared at Percy, but that just made Percy laugh harder.

"You two should have seen your face! Priceless!" He gasped. Then he relapsed into another fit of giggles.

Thalia and Nico looked at each other. They were both thinking the same thing. Why is our cousin so crazy?

Once Percy stopped laughing, he stood up and said,

"But for real guys, We cannot blow anything up, like nothing at all. Got it?" His face was so serious, but Nico found something about Percy's face hilarious because he started laughing. Just so you know, Nico's laugh is really contagious. I don't think anyone can hear it without laughing along with him. Within second, Percy started laughing again, this time with Thalia laughing too.

The Little Big Three laughed for what seemed like an hour, but was probably only 10 minutes. That said, you don't need to laugh for an hour for your stomach to hurt. By the time the demigods had finished laughing, their stomachs were very sore, so they decided to sit down and rest their abs.

They walked into the living room and sat down on the couch simultaneously. They were ready to watch TV, (a demigod proof TV) realized that they didn't know where the remote was. Percy stood up and yelled,

"First one to find the remote gets to choose the show! No powers!" Nico immediately got down on the floor and started looking under everything. Thalia was looking in between couch cushions and on end tables. Percy, was looking in stupid places like the fridge and under the carpet.

Surprisingly, Percy was the one who found the remote. He found it on a shelf, a very high shelf. Percy probably found it because he was the tallest.

"Ha! Take that! I get to choose the show!" Thalia sighed and sat down. Nico glared at Percy but sat down next to Thalia. Percy draped himself across the laps of his cousins. Thalia groaned and flicked Percy in the forehead, which resulted in Thalia yelling 'ouch' and Percy smiling.

"Curse of Achilles, Pinecone face!" Thalia replied by rolling her eyes at her older cousin. Then she looked over at Nico. Nico was blushing, but only slightly. Thalia smirked at Nico. She knew his secret, of course. Why else would she share a tent with a male? Lady Artemis also knew, otherwise she wouldn't allow her lieutenant to share a room with Nico. That was it. Nobody else knew, and Nico made Thalia and Artemis swear on the river Styx not to tell anybody. Not that Thalia would ever betray her cousins trust like that. Despite her status as a huntress, she really enjoys the company of her male cousins.

Thaila's thought were interrupted by loud laughter. She looked for the source of the noise, which was Percy. He was still lounging across his cousins' laps. Thalia looked at the TV, hoping to see what made her cousin laugh so hard. All that was on the screen was a documentary about the ocean. She looked at Nico for clues. Nico was just staring between the screen, Percy and Thalia with a stupid little smirk on his face. When he caught Thalia's eye he just shrugged. Thalia reached past Percy to where he had set the remote and paused the TV. Nico and Thalia just sat there staring at Percy until he had calmed down a bit. Once he caught his breath, Thalia looked at him and said,

"So, do you want to tell us what was so funny?" Percy looked at the TV then Thalia, then back at the TV. He opened his mouth to explain what was so funny, but started laughing again.

"Ok...haha...so I choose..hehe..a rated...*snort*...pg ocean documentary...*giggle*..but I can understand..*laugh*...what the fish...*gasping laughter*..are saying...*deep breathing*....and it is most definitely...HAHAHAHAH...not pg" Then Percy couldn't keep it together any longer. He started howling with hysterical laughter. By now, Thalia and Nico were laughing too. They could barely understand anything their cousin was saying, but just listening to Percy trying to explain it was hilarious.

Just then, Sally walked in. She was confused as to why three demigods were rolling around on the floor, but decided not to question it. Instead, she said,

"Percy Thalia, Nico, Paul will be home soon. Once he is home we will be having dinner. I am planning on making burgers. Any objections?"

They all stopped laughing to tell Sally that burgers sounded perfect. The moment they made eye contact, however, they started laughing again. Sally smiled to herself and walked back into the kitchen to start making burgers.

The Little Big Three were still on the floor laughing their heads off when Paul got home. Paul, who had never seen Nico and Thalia before, was very confused. He didn't mind them being over, he was just confused. He knew that his stepson had very few mortal friends and all of his demigod friends... Well, Let's just say that having more than one demigod in a house was very stressful. He decided to leave his stepson and mystery people on the ground for now, and went into the kitchen.

Sally looked up, when Paul walked into the room. She smiled at him, Paul smiled back. Then he said,

" Who are those people with Percy?" Sally's smile grew.

" That's Thalia and nico. They are Percy's cousins on his dad's side." Paul knew all about Percy's other life. He also knew a decent amount about Greek mythology. His eye widened when he realized that Nico and Thalia would be other Big Three children.

Just then, Percy and his cousins walked in, their faces red from laughter.

" Hi Paul! This is Thalia, Daughter of Zeus. This is Nico, son of Hades." Percy introduced. Thalia and Nico greeted Paul politely.

"They will be having dinner with us dear," Paul turned and looked at Sally, who was the one who had spoken.

" They've promised to try not to blow anything up. Percy, may you set the table, dinner's almost ready." And for the second time that day, she left the room leaving someone speechless behind her.
