"George, you're really going?!" Paul asked half shocked and half surprised as he saw his mate's suitcase laying on the bed and being almost packed. He had entered their hotel room to have a smoke with his best friend but all he saw was that big brown suitcase.
"Yeah, I didn't lie a few hours ago when I said I wouldn't be a Beatle anymore." George said and came out of the bathroom, setting his toothbrush and toothpaste into his suitcase. "I'm going back to Liverpool." He closed his suitcase quickly then glanced at Paul determined and sat down on his bed.
"But you can't do that.. We need you here.. And those people at the station were.. Well, it would never happen again." Paul turned his gaze down at his feet sadly and sighed deeply.
"You can find a new guitarist and those people were pushing us around because we're not wanted here in Manila! For fuck's sake, Paul!! I wanna have a normal life now! Can't you understand that?!"

Shyly the older man let himself fall next to George onto the bed and laid his arm around George's shoulder.
"Georgie, please think about this whole thing again.. You're so important for us, we do need you.. And especially I need you"
The last sentence came a bit more hesitantly out of Paul's mouth and also a few tears ran down his face. "Please don't leave us, Georgie.."

Those words catched George's attention and he looked over at his friend, staring him right in the eyes.
"Do you really mean that, Paul?" He questioned and raised his eyebrows in a bit of disbelief.
Paul nodded his head eagerly as he replied, his hazel eyes looking back in George's now.
"Of course! You're my best friend and you make everything better, y'know? I'm nothing without you!"

A huge grin showed on the younger lad's face and his arms flew around Paul, embracing him tightly.
"Oh Paulie! You're the best friend in the whole wide world! I'll stay here with you."

Paul was surprised by the sudden hug at first but soon he couldn't help and grinned happily as well, gently holding his best friend in his arms.
