Derek's Pov

I sigh as Spencer ignored me. How can I fix this? As I work I tried to think of ideas on anyway I could make it up to him. An idea hit me. I grabbed a sticky note and started to write on it.

'Hey Spence, when ever you're ready to talk to me I am willing to listen, Dr. Who marathon?' 

I wrote on it adding a smiley face at the end of it hoping that I get a response. I set it on his desk making sure none of the girls or anybody else was watching me as I did. I set in front of his work and sat back down. I anxiously waited a reply g ok ing through my paperwork.

"Hey sugar?" Penelope called and I turned my head to her.

"What's up babygirl?" I asked her.

"I need to talk to you for a sec." She says and signals to her cave. I follow her and look at her.

"What's up?" I asked confused on why she brought me here.

"I heard from Spence you found out his secret... and I swear if you hurt that poor boy I will hurt you." She says sternly and glares at me. It's the first time I ever actually seen her act stern.

"I wont Pen. Promise. I feel bad he wont talk to me. I offered to watch through Dr. Who with him and talk about it." Derek says.

"Its cause hes embarrassed Der. Give him time I promise he'll come around but please be gentle with him." Penelope says hugging me. I hug her back reassuring her. I leave with her permission and sit back down seeing a note on my desk.

' Friday? After work? Does that work?'

It read and I smiled and nodded as I saw Spencer watching me. He smiled gently and went to go himself some coffee as I continued to work.

Timeskip to Friday! Also Spencer's Pov

I was anxious as I waited for Derek to show up. He probably thinks I am a creep but Pen totally me that I should do this and that it wont end as badly as I think. I hear the doorbell go off and grab it.

"Coming!" I say as I open the door and smile gently at him, "H-hey Derek." I say stuttering.

"Hey Spence. So ready to watch Dr. Who?" He asked and I smiled big like a little kid on christmas nodding my head. This caused him to smile at me.

"Do you need anything or want anything?" I asked smiling.

"No thank you pretty boy. But thank you for asking." He says and I blush at this and hide my face. He was making this hard to not slip, he just made it so easy he was just so. I shake my head and sit down on the couch turning on Dr. Who. Derek sits down on the other side and happily watches with me.

'Pen help me... Hes making it hard not to slip.' I texted Penelope.

'Spencer it's fine. He'll take care of you or so help him I'll sick him.' She texted back causing me to giggle.

"Everything alright pretty boy?' He asked me and I turn smiling at him.

"Yes Dadd- I mean Derek." I say quickly and hide my face.

"As long as you promise pretty boy." He says.

'I almost called him Daddy, I am screwed.' I texted her.

'Calm down and breathe Spence. It will all be okay. I got to go.' She says.

I take deep breaths and calm down smiling gently as I watch through Dr. Who with him. We had gotten through a couple of episodes when I started to get tired. I grab a blanket and cuddle up with it. I yawn and lean on Derek, I realize an go to get up and he wraps his arm around me.

"Its fine baby boy. Take a nap. I am here." He says and I just melt into his arms and him falling asleep easily. He made it so easy to feel loved, to feel cared for like this. Maybe, maybe he does return my feelings for him, and he wont be completely turned off and leave me for this, I thought to myself as I fall asleep against the male.
