Born on a dewey spring morning in the United Kingdom, she was greeted by the first blush of cherry blossoms in the city parks of London. As the daughter of an English father and a Botswanan mother, Sasha's heritage was a vibrant tapestry that enriched her childhood with a blend of cultures.

From a young age, Sasha was drawn to the disciplined grace of ballet. Her parents enrolled her in a local dance academy where she quickly stood out, her curls bouncing jubilantly with each pirouette and leap.

Ballet became Sasha's first love, a world where she could express herself freely, away from the complexities of her mixed-race identity which, in school, sometimes made her feel like an outsider.

However, the pressures of perfectionism in ballet soon took a toll on Sasha. The constant examination and the high standards she set for herself, resulting in an anxiety disorder, along with an eating disorder that silently crept into her life.

By her early teens, Sasha's once boundless enthusiasm for dance was shadowed by a growing timidity and insecurity. The stage, once her sanctuary, became a source of fear.

Despite these challenges, high school marked a turning point for Sasha. With the support of understanding teachers and a tight-knit circle of friends who embraced her quirks and celebrated her as a person, she began to regrow that confidence and slowly build a healthier relationship with herself.

Therapy sessions, though initially unsettling, helped her develop strategies to manage her anxiety. She learned to channel her feelings into advocacy and support for others, transforming her struggles into a source of empathy.

Driven by a desire to help children who faced similar mentally challenges, Sasha chose to pursue higher education in psychology and child development at Cardiff University.

Now a first-year student, Sasha lives with her roommate Karamina, someone she considers a now life long friend, with two other girls that complement the duo even more, Devyn and Reneé. They form a close-knit group, navigating the ups and downs of university life together.

Though her anxiety still lingers, Sasha has grown significantly. She's learned to embrace her vulnerabilities as strengths, allowing her to connect deeply with those around her.
