Born under the warm glow of a Mediterranean sun in Barcelona, a city as vibrant and lively as she would prove to be. Her roots spread across continents, with a Spanish father and a Mexican mother, enriching her childhood with a blend of cultures that was mirrored within lively music and delicious food.

Growing up, Mina was the middle child sandwiched between an older brother, Sebastian, who was fiercely protective yet perpetually annoyed by his sisters' antics, and a younger sister, Galilea, who adored Mina's every move.

Mina's love for film and photography began in her grandfather's old study, a magical clutter of vintage cameras, rolls of film, and old movie posters. Her grandfather, a retired photographer, was her mentor and confidant.
