One Shot
Ryu 'Keria' Min Seok stood frozen before the fridge, fluorescent lights buzzing overhead. His gaze was riveted to the list taped to the door-the infamous "Do Not Date" list. It loomed over him like a specter, a cruel reminder of his social life-or the utter lack thereof. Half the names were crossed off. Victims in some twisted game, but his name glared back, uncrossed. A knot tightened in his stomach.
Am I really that undateable?
Heat rushed to his cheeks. He rubbed the back of his neck, a nervous habit taking over. What if everyone thought so? What if he truly was just... undesirable?
The door swung open, and Lee 'Gumayusi' Min Hyung sauntered in, eyes glued to his phone. "What're you gawking at now?" His teasing tone cut through the silence as he rummaged through the fridge.
Keria folded the crumpled list into his palm. "Nothing. Just, uh, fridge stuff."
Gumayusi's eyebrow raised. "Fridge stuff?" He grabbed a drink and shot a sidelong glance at the paper. "Oh, is that the list?"
Keria flinched. "The list," he muttered.
Gumayusi let out a low whistle. "Who cares about that thing? It's a prank. You know how they are."
"It's not a prank!" Keria snapped. "Half the team's already crossed off. That means I'm... what? Undesirable?" Admitting it felt heavy in the air as if saying it made it real.
"Min Seokkie, chill," Gumayusi chuckled. "You're overthinking. If you wanna get crossed off-" He leaned in, eyes glinting with mischief. "We'll make you irresistible."
Keria blinked. "How do you plan to do that?"
Gumayusi straightened. "Okay, listen up. First, you need to embrace the 'mysterious type' vibe. Be the guy who walks into the room and everyone's like, 'Who's that?'"
"Like, wear sunglasses indoors?" Keria deadpanned.
"Maybe not that dramatic, but you get the idea! Speak less, nod more."
Keria rolled his eyes. "And then what? Just stare at people until they want to date me?"
"It's all about allure," Gumayusi leaned closer. "Then we'll work on the flirting. Compliment people-like, sincere stuff. Be charming."
Keria's brow furrowed. "And how do you suggest I do that? Last time I complimented Sang Hyeok Hyung's haircut, he looked at me like I had three heads."
Gumayusi waved a hand. "Forget the haircut. You need to be spontaneous! Approach people when they least expect it. Maybe drop a cheeky line or two."
"Cheeky lines? Like what?" Keria challenged, skepticism creeping into his tone.
"Just trust me. If you see Hyeon Junnie, say, 'Hey, did you know you have the best out-of-game strategy?' It's so ridiculous he won't know whether to laugh or blush!"
Keria chuckled, picturing the scene. "Yeah, I can see that going well."
Gumayusi's face lit up with a playful smirk. "See? We're getting somewhere! If all else fails, throw in a meme reference. That always works. People love it."
Keria took a deep breath. "Fine, let's give it a shot. But if I crash and burn, you're the one who has to deal with my embarrassment."
Gumayusi clapped him on the back. "Don't worry. We're gonna make you the most desirable player in the T1 roster!"
---
Keria took a deep breath, the buzz of the T1 headquarters enveloping him. Gumayusi's words echoed in his head: "Confidence is everything."
With every step toward Faker's gaming station, his heart raced faster. "Okay, just be cool," he muttered, gripping the edge of the table for stability.
As he approached the LoL Legend Lee 'Faker' Sang Hyeok, who was deep in concentration, Keria cleared his throat awkwardly. "Nice... keyboard, Sang Hyeok Hyung. Really, uh, ergonomic."
Faker blinked, fingers never pausing over the keys. "Thanks?"
Smooth, Min Seokkie, he thought, cursing himself as he prepared for the flex. "By the way, did you know I carried that solo queue game yesterday? Top-tier support stuff. We should duo more."
Faker stared at him. "Huh?"
Keria's face burned. This is going great, he thought, masking embarrassment with a forced smile.
Undeterred, he tried the same approach with Choi 'Zeus' Woo Ji, their top laner fixated on a replay. He tapped Zeus on the shoulder, heart pounding. "Hey, your Aatrox... pretty smooth. But, uh... not as smooth as my Thresh hooks last game."
Zeus barely looked up. "I think you're distracting me, Min Seok Hyung."
"Right, of course." Keria's voice wobbled, but he pressed on. "By the way, did I mention my KDA last match? It was... legendary."
"Yeah. Cool," their baby replied, turning back to the screen, utterly uninterested.
Keria felt the weight of embarrassment settles in again. Gumayusi was cackling in the background, laughter ringing like an echo in his ears. "You're killing it!"
"Shut up," Keria mumbled, though the corners of his lips twitched upward.
Deciding to switch gears, Keria found Moon 'Oner' Hyeon Jun, the team's jungler, in a quieter corner of the break room. This time try the "Mysterious and Brooding" strategy.
"Hey, Hyeun Junnie, what's the secret to being brooding?"
Oner grinned. "Simple. Say as little as possible and look deep in thought. It's all about the vibe."
Great, Keria thought, rolling his eyes but feeling a spark of determination. He moved to the training room door, folding his arms and adopting a serious expression.
As he stared blankly ahead, Faker walked by. "Min Seok Ah? What are you... doing?"
Without looking, he mumbled, "Just... thinking."
Faker blinked in confusion, then walked away, muttering, "Weird..."
Keria felt a rush of satisfaction. One for the brooding side, he thought, but it didn't last long.
Determined to keep the intensity alive, he stepped into the lounge, locking eyes with Zeus again. This time, he tried to channel all his inner drama. "Sometimes... the game isn't the only thing we're playing."
Zeus shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "Uh, you okay, Min Seok Hyung?"
Keria maintained his brooding stare, hoping to draw intrigue.
"Should we call a doctor?" Zeus shot back, glancing at Faker, who now wore an expression of concern.
Keria blinked. I think, I might have broken something, but he kept his composure.
As the day wore on, Oner sauntered over. "You're nailing the mysterious vibe, but there's one last piece of advice."
"What's that?" Keria asked.
"Whenever someone starts to get close or asks too many questions, just run away."
"Run away?" Keria raised an eyebrow. "You can't be serious."
"Trust me. It makes you elusive. Classic drama."
Keria couldn't help but laugh. "Fine. But if it goes wrong..."
Oner cut him off. "No, it won't."
Later that day, as the team gathered for a strategy meeting, Keria felt the tension building. The conversation flowed until Faker leaned back in his chair, a curious look on his face. "Min Seok-Ah, why are you acting so strange?"
Keria's heart raced. This was the moment. Instead of answering, he abruptly stood up and sprinted out of the room, leaving stunned silence in his wake.
Oner's eyes lit up with approval from across the room. "See? It's working!"
Keria couldn't help but laugh at himself. Maybe the game wasn't just about winning. It was about having fun-and finding a way to laugh at his awkwardness.
As he headed outside for some air, he spotted Gumayusi leaning against a wall, smirking. "You did it! Just like we practiced!"
"Yeah, well... it wasn't all a success," Keria admitted. "But it was... something."
Gumayusi nudged him. "At least now they're curious. You've turned heads, Min Seokkie."
Keria looked back at the training room. "Maybe I'm not completely undesirable afterall."
**
The door swung open in T1's break room while Keria sat toying with his drink. In strolled Ryu Mi Ra-his twin sister. This had his stomach twisted. He hadn't seen her in months, but of course, she would show up now.
Mi Ra was a force of nature. As a talented strategist for a major esports agency, she moved through the gaming world with ease. She looked almost identical to him-same sharp jawline, same piercing eyes, even the voice-but that's where the similarities ended. Where Keria was awkward and unsure, Mi Ra moved like she owned the room, confidence radiating off her in waves. And today, she wore a T1 hoodie over ripped jeans, as she leaned against the doorframe.
"Well, well, well," she drawled. "Look who's hiding in the break room."
Keria groaned, burying his face deeper into his arms. "Not now, Ra-Ra."
"Oh, definitely now." She strode over. "I heard you're having dating problems."
"I'm fine," he muttered, trying to finish up the drink in his hand.
Before he could react, she snatched the crumpled list beside his drink, holding it just out of reach. "Seriously? This is what's got you all worked up?"
Keria slumped back in his chair. "Half the team's crossed off! And I'm still on it."
"Poor you," she teased. "Still eligible."
"I'm undesirable," he replied.
"Please. You're overthinking this." She leaned closer. "I'll help you."
Keria frowned, sensing trouble. "Help me how?"
Mi Ra leaned back, a devilish grin on her face. "With the 'twin advantage.' I could fill in for you."
"Absolutely not!" Panic surged through him.
"Relax! No one's going to notice." She tossed the list into the air like confetti. "Trust me, I've got this."
Keria sighed, a mix of dread and hope swirling within him. "Ra-Ra..."
"It'll be fine, promise." She winked, striding out, leaving him to contemplate the chaos to come.
**
Keria didn't think much of Mi Ra's offer, assuming it was just one of her typical jokes. But later that afternoon, something tugged at his attention as he wandered the halls. A voice-a familiar, too-familiar voice-drifted from the gaming area. And not just any voice. Flirty voices.
Curious, Keria crept closer, peering around the corner. His heart nearly stopped. There she was-dressed in his hoodie, her posture far too relaxed to be anything but trouble. She leaned casually against the doorframe of the practice room, lips curled that were distinctly not in Keria's style.
But that wasn't the worst part. The worst part was who she was talking to. Gumayusi. His duo in bot lane.
Keria's stomach dropped.
"You know, Min Hyung-ie," Mi Ra-as-Keria said, flicking a stray lock of hair back in a move too smooth to be real. "You're not half bad. We should hang out more."
Gumayusi blinked, surprised by "Keria's" sudden boldness. He rubbed the back of his neck. "Uh... sure? Didn't expect you to be so forward."
She tilted her head, eyes sparkling with playful mischief. "Maybe we should grab dinner sometime? You could teach me a thing or two about the AD laning."
Keria, still half-hidden behind the corner, felt his jaw drop. What the-?!
Gumayusi's grin widened. "Sure. I'm always down for lessons."
"Oh, yes," she purred, shooting him a wink that Keria would never even think about pulling off.
Keria's brain scrambled to process the chaos unfolding. This can't be happening. She's going to blow my cover. Or worse-make me look like a complete idiot!
Before he could intervene, the owner of the rift waltzed into the room, blissfully unaware of the switcheroo. He threw an arm around what he thought was their support, grinning widely. "I like this sudden confidence in you. Glad you're finally taking our advice."
Mi Ra straightened up, barely holding back a laugh. "Yeah, Hyeun Junnie. Your advice opened my eyes," she said, tone dripping with fake sincerity. Then threw another wink in his way.
He puffed out his chest. "I knew it! See, being bold works! You gotta stop overthinking. This is the new you, and I'm all for it."
Keria's heart raced. Oh, no! His female doppelgänger was running wild, and every second she spent impersonating him was another second of total disaster. But what could he do now without causing a bigger scene?
Before Keria could act, Zeus wandered in, gaming headset hanging loosely around his neck. He glanced between Mi Ra and Gumayusi, brow furrowing in confusion. He was used to Keria being... well, Keria. Awkward. Reserved. Definitely not this bold.
"What's gotten into you, Min Seok Hyung?" Zeus asked, suspicion lacing his voice.
Mi Ra flashed a bright grin. "Nothing." She leaned in casually, but the teasing energy had everyone reeling.
Zeus smirked, clearly impressed, but still confused. "Ok. If you say so?" he muttered, glancing at Gumayusi, who nodded in agreement.
Keria, still crouched behind the corner, felt his heart seized.
Faker stood beside him, watching the chaos unfold. His expression was unreadable as he glanced at Mi Ra-Keria-then back at the real Keria, sweating bullets.
"Your sister's going for it," the world-renowned mid finally said.
Keria shot him a frantic look. "You knew?!"
He shrugged. "It wasn't hard to figure out," and watched as Mi Ra threw another wink at Oner, who nearly melted under the confidence. "She's better at flirting than you, by the way."
"I know," Keria hissed, hands balling into fists. She's going to ruin everything.
But then something unexpected happened. Despite all the teasing and flirting, Mi Ra never crossed the line to make Keria look bad. She never let the banter become mean or embarrassing for him. Instead, her antics somehow elevated him-made him seem... more confident.
Keria blinked, panic fading into confusion. He watched as his twin sister handled the situation with ease, disarming every potential landmine, leaving everyone-including Gumayusi-feeling charmed.
Faker nudged him. "She's not ruining anything. She's making you look... pretty cool."
Keria's brow furrowed, glancing between his sister and teammates. For a moment, he considered confronting her-telling her to stop before things spiraled out of control. But as Gumayusi laughed at yet another quip, Keria realized something.
She's actually helping me.
Maybe Mi Ra's approach was unconventional, but instead of tanking his image, she was elevating it. Even if unintentional, her impersonation made him seem bolder, and more charismatic. And his teammates... they were starting to buy it.
Gumayusi nudged "Keria" playfully. "You know, this new version of you isn't half bad. We might have to grab that dinner sometime."
Keria cringed, but Mi Ra shot back, "Oh, we will, sharpshooter. Just you wait."
Keria, still frozen in the corner, groaned internally. She's the worst. But for once, maybe not in the way he had feared.
---
Mi Ra was having the time of her life. The switch had worked even better than she'd imagined. Every time she slipped into "Keria" mode, the reactions from the T1 team were pure gold. She'd flirted with Gumayusi, tossed teasing remarks at Oner, and even had Faker watching her like a hawk. The confusion swirling in everyone's eyes as they tried to reconcile "Keria's" sudden burst of confidence with the usually reserved support was priceless.
No one suspected a thing. Not yet, anyway.
Zeus had been her latest victim. Just an hour ago, he'd walked in on Mi Ra lounging casually in the T1 practice room. She greeted him with a raised brow and a smirk that made him blink in confusion.
"What's up, Woo Ji? Didn't think you'd show up this early," Mi Ra asked in a perfect Keria tenor.
Zeus blinked, surprised. "Uh, hey... Just thought I'd get some extra practice in."
She shot him a look far too playful for the real Keria. "Oh, sure. Extra practice." Her tone dripped with innuendo, and Zeus froze mid-step, unsure if she was teasing or serious.
He scratched the back of his head. "Yeah, you know, gotta stay sharp."
Mi Ra leaned forward, resting her chin on her palm. "Maybe you can show me some of those top lane tricks later? Could use some pointers."
Zeus's face flushed, but he chuckled, nodding. "Yeah, I-I could do that."
Too easy, Mi Ra thought, fighting back a laugh. Watching the usually stoic but sharp Zeus fumble was almost too much fun. He didn't even know what hit him. She offered him one last wink before slipping out of the room, leaving him bewildered.
With every interaction, Mi Ra's confidence grew. She leaned back in one of the gaming chairs, feet propped up on the desk. Today's going to be fun. Zeus's flustered face flashed in her mind, followed by Gumayusi's grin from the day before. Not to mention Oner's wide-eyed disbelief when she'd fired off a snarky comment about his 'legendary' dating tips.
And no one suspected a thing.
Except maybe Faker. He was the only one who seemed suspicious. Every time she passed him, she could feel his sharp gaze on her-like he was piecing together a puzzle. His all-knowing stare was unnerving, but so far, he hadn't called her out. Not yet, anyway.
Mi Ra grinned as the door to the practice room swung open again. She tilted her head back, expecting another unsuspecting teammate to walk in. This was turning into her best prank yet.
---
Keria sensed the tension building as he stepped into the break room, hoping to grab some water and escape the madness for a moment. The past few days had been overwhelming-Gumayusi's cringe-worthy flirting attempts, Oner's absurdly dramatic strategies. But what really drained him was Mi Ra's relentless involvement in his life. He needed a break.
As he grabbed a bottle from the fridge, Gumayusi walked in, shooting him a grin that immediately put the genius support on edge.
"You're looking confident these days," Gumayusi said, cracking open his drink.
Keria blinked, confused. "Huh? What're you talking about?"
Gumayusi leaned against the counter, still grinning. "You know... the flirting yesterday? You were laying it on thick. Pretty smooth, if you ask me."
Keria stared at him blankly. "Flirting? With who?"
Gumayusi chuckled, clearly not picking up on Keria's confusion. "Me! You literally said we should grab dinner sometime. You don't remember?"
Keria's face turned a deep shade of red. "I... I said what?!"
Gumayusi furrowed his brow, suddenly puzzled. "Yeah, yesterday. You said something about hanging out more, dinner, the whole deal." He scratched his head. "Unless... you've changed your mind?"
Keria shook his head vehemently. "I didn't say that! I-I would never say that!"
At that moment, Oner strolled in, whistling as he grabbed a snack without a care in the world.
"Whoa, what's going on here?" T1's fluffy tiger asked, biting into a granola bar.
Gumayusi turned to him. "Did you see Min Seokkie flirting with me yesterday, or was I imagining things?"
Oner snorted. "Honestly? I thought he was just taking your advice from that flirting guide you gave him."
Keria's eyes widened in horror. "What flirting guide?"
Gumayusi pointed at Oner with a smug grin. "See! Even Hyeon Jun noticed! You were flirting."
Keria's confusion deepened as his brain raced to make sense of it all. Winking? Flirting? Dinner plans? None of this sounded like him, but sounded exactly like someone else he knew. It hit him, and he remembered what he and Faker had witnessed yesterday. He'd been too stressed to even register it.
"Oh, my gawd!" he muttered under his breath, running a hand through his hair.
Oner looked up, intrigued. "What's up?"
Keria, feeling like the ground might swallow him whole, glanced at Gumayusi. "Ra-Ra. She's been pretending to be me."
Gumayusi's eyes widened. "Wait, hold up. So... that wasn't you flirting with me?"
Keria's face went crimson. "No! Definitely not me! That was all her!"
For a moment, Gumayusi stood there, processing this revelation. Oner burst out laughing.
"Oh, this is rich. Your twin's got more game than you!" he teased.
Keria groaned, hands covering his face. "I'm going to kill her."
**
Later that day, Mi Ra lounged against the doorframe of the lounge, exuding mischief. She'd already thrown Zeus off his game with a casual suggestion for bubble tea after practice, and now she had her sights set on riling up Gumayusi again.
Before she could make her move, the LoL living legend strolled in. His gaze zeroed in on her, and instead of hesitation, a knowing smirk tugged at his lips. "You're not Min Seok-Ah," he stated, crossing his arms.
Mi Ra's grin widened, undeterred. "Took you long enough to catch on," she teased.
Faker raised an eyebrow, his calm demeanor tinged with amusement. "I suspected something was off. Just needed confirmation."
She stretched her arms overhead. "So, what tipped you off? The winking? The flirting? Or my fabulous posture?"
"Confidence," he replied, shaking his head. "Min Seok-Ah doesn't walk around like that." He glanced at the door before adding, "Speaking of which..."
Before Mi Ra could retort, Faker yanked Keria into the room. The prodigy monster, visibly worn, shot a withering look at his twin. "Really, Ra-Ra?"
Mi Ra shrugged, unbothered. "You were struggling. I just helped. You should thank me."
"Thank you?" Keria sputtered, the heat creeping up his neck. "You've made everything worse!"
Just then, Gumayusi entered, eyes darting between Keria and Mi Ra, confusion etched on his face. "So... I was flirting with... you?" He pointed at Mi Ra, his expression a mix of shock and disbelief.
Mi Ra winked, satisfaction glimmering in her eyes. "Gotcha."
Gumayusi's jaw dropped, running a hand through his hair in disbelief. "I-uh-I don't know what to say."
Oner ambled in right behind him, a smirk plastered on his face. "This just keeps getting better."
Keria, mortified, buried his face in his hands. "This is the worst day of my life."
"Come on. Don't be so dramatic," Mi Ra laughed, stepping closer to pat his back.
Faker leaned against the wall, clearly entertained. "Well, this explains a lot," he remarked, eyeing Gumayusi with a knowing grin. "You've been flirting with the wrong sibling."
Gumayusi finally let out a shaky laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. "I thought I had a gender crisis because I suddenly liked my best bud like he was a girl."
Keria groaned louder, wishing to disappear. "Please stop talking."
Mi Ra leaned against a gaming chair, a teasing glint in her eyes. "Honestly, I was just having a little fun."
"A little fun?" Keria echoed, incredulous. "You've made everyone think I'm some kind of-of-flirting geek!"
Oner snickered, clearly relishing Keria's embarrassment. "Flirting geek?"
Mi Ra waved a dismissive hand. "Relax, you're fine. Besides, if anything, I've done you a favor."
"How is any of this a favor?" Keria demanded, face still bright red.
Mi Ra's grin widened. "Now you're the mysterious, confident type. Just what the team needed."
Before Keria could retort, Zeus appeared at the door, eyes wide. "Wait, what's going on? Did I miss something?"
Faker chuckled, motioning to Mi Ra and Keria. "Meet the real mastermind behind 'flirty Keria.'"
Zeus blinked, piecing it together. "Wait, so... the person who asked me out for bubble tea was...?"
"Ra-Ra," Keria grumbled. "It's been her this whole time."
Zeus burst into laughter. "Oh wow, I knew something was off! No way Keria suddenly became someone with a confident attitude overnight."
Mi Ra gave a mock bow. "Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week."
Keria shot his twin a glare. "No, you won't. You're going home."
Gumayusi regained his composure, shaking his head with a half-smile. "You had me completely fooled, Ryu Mi Ra."
Mi Ra winked at him. "It's what I do."
Oner clapped Keria on the back. "Hey, it could've been worse. She didn't ruin your ranked games. Yet."
Keria, exhausted from embarrassment, stood there, utterly defeated. "I hate everything about this."
Mi Ra slung an arm around her twin brother's shoulders. "You'll survive. And now that the truth's out, I can give you real pointers on how to be confident."
Keria groaned. "No more pointers. Please."
Faker chuckled. "At least now we know who the real mastermind is. And Min Seok-Ah?"
Keria looked up, still flustered. "Ne, Sang Hyeok Hyung?"
Faker smirked. "Next time, maybe stick to being yourself."
Mi Ra nudged him. "Good advice, but I'm still the better twin."
Keria sighed. "I'm never living this down, am I?"
Oner shook his head, grinning. "Not a chance."
"Not a chance," Mi Ra echoed with a mischievous grin.
---
The tension shifted from chaos to something lighter. Gumayusi leaned against the counter, a cocky grin resurfacing. "So... Ryu Mi Ra, huh? That explains why I was suddenly into you."
Mi Ra, leaning back against the wall, raised an eyebrow. "Into me? Are you sure it wasn't just my 'awesome' impersonation of my brother?" Her tone was teasing, but her gaze was sharp, reading every nuance of his expression.
Gumayusi's smirk deepened. "Nah. You're funnier than him. Way better at flirting."
Mi Ra laughed, stepping closer. "Way better? That says a lot about me... or your taste in flirts."
He shrugged, his gaze steady. "Probably both."
The air crackled with playful tension, the rest of the team watching with barely concealed grins.
Keria stood off to the side, his face still warm from earlier, half-expecting chaos to erupt again.
But Mi Ra wasn't finished. Her grin widened as she took another step closer. "So, what I'm hearing is, you enjoyed my company enough to flirt back. Doesn't that mean we should make those dinner plans for real?"
For a moment, Gumayusi didn't respond. He simply stared at her, the playful glint in his eyes darkening into something deeper. Slowly, his grin returned, wider this time. "Yeah," he said, voice low but confident. "Let's do that."
Mi Ra's smirk shifted into a wide grin. She leaned back, clearly satisfied. "It's a date, then."
Murmurs rippled through the room, eyebrows raising in surprise. Zeus shot a glance at Keria, who looked ready to implode.
"Wait, wait, wait," Keria finally blurted, his voice rising. "You guys are seriously making dinner plans now? After all this?"
Mi Ra shrugged, casual. "Why not? I didn't plan on flirting with him, but hey, things change."
Gumayusi chuckled, nodding. "Things definitely changed."
Keria groaned, dragging a hand down his face. "I don't even understand what's happening anymore."
Faker, watching the chaos unfold, finally stepped forward. "Don't worry," he said, voice calm. "It'll make sense eventually."
Keria remained unconvinced.
Suddenly, Mi Ra spotted the infamous list pinned to the fridge. Her eyes lit up, and before anyone could stop her, she snatched it and waved it like a victory flag. "Oh look, the legendary list! You didn't need all this drama to cross off your name, Min Seokkie."
Keria snatched the list back, his face a mix of annoyance and exhaustion. He glanced at the crumpled paper, then back at Mi Ra. With a dramatic sigh, he grabbed a pen and drew a thick line through his name, the scratch of the pen echoing in the room.
"There," he declared, tossing the list onto the table. "I'm officially done with this stupid list."
Laughter erupted, the tension finally dissolving. Zeus doubled over, clapping a hand on Gumayusi's shoulder, both laughing at Keria's dramatic flair. Even Faker cracked a rare smile, shaking his head at the absurdity.
Mi Ra sauntered over to her brother, throwing an arm around him. "You're welcome, nam dongsaeng. I told you I'd help."
Keria rolled his eyes. "Some help you were."
Mi Ra laughed, unbothered. "Hey, at least you crossed your name off. That counts for something, right?"
Keria muttered something that sounded like, "I'd rather die of embarrassment."
Before the conversation could shift, Mi Ra's gaze flicked to Gumayusi, who had been watching with amusement. She raised an eyebrow. "So, see you at seven?"
Gumayusi's grin returned. "Yeah, see you then."
Keria made a strangled noise, face flushed again. "I-this-why does this always happen to me?"
Mi Ra ruffled his hair affectionately. "You're too easy to mess with."
"Can you please stop messing with me and my teammates for five minutes?" Keria groaned, looking up at the ceiling in exasperation.
Mi Ra gave a mock salute. "Can't make any promises."
The team erupted in laughter, and as the room settled back into its usual rhythm, Gumayusi caught Mi Ra's gaze across the room. She winked again, and for the first time that day, he felt a thrill of anticipation for the evening.
---
Later, as chaos faded, and the team dispersed, Keria found himself alone in the kitchen, staring at the crossed-out list on the table. He still couldn't believe the madness of the past few days.
Just as he contemplated tossing the list, Mi Ra reappeared. "Still thinking about that list, huh?"
Keria sighed. "Honestly? I'm thinking about never making a list again."
Mi Ra laughed, her eyes softening as she leaned against the doorframe. "Hey, it all worked out, right?"
Keria raised an eyebrow. "Did it?"
She smirked, pushing off the doorframe and waving. "Yes. It did."
Keria groaned, but a flicker of relief sparked within him. The madness might be over, but at least he had survived-and crossed his name off the list.
As Mi Ra walked away, he picked up the list one last time, staring at the crossed-out name. Maybe, just maybe, things hadn't turned out so badly after all.
The end.
