This video game focuses on 2 protagonists banjo and kazooie as they save banjo's younger and cute little sister tootie from an evil witch named gruntilla who had kidnapped her.

In the response to the kidnapping, kazooie wakes up a lazy and sleepy banjo and tells him that her sister is in trouble. They live in spiral mountain. Gruntilda also plans to steal tootie's beauty so she can be the most beautifullest of all of spiral mountain.
