Leaders argued, locked horns, and closed the door!

People voted for his health plan to grow-

Are we not on the same side anymore?

September eleventh, twelve years ago,

Government shut down we would not allow.

Together stood strong against fearsome foe,

That solidarity forgotten now.

Congress, you let down those you represent,

Heedless that we disagree, instead you

 Flex your muscle and duke the President,

While our healthy future depends on you.

Proud of my America, ever enthralled,

That Senate shut us down, I am appalled!
